First, if you haven't seen this movie go buy it off amazon or something and do so immediately.
Anyway, this is an idea I've had for a number of years and I've never been able to drum up enough people to do it.
The premise (converted to the site of course) is essentially a true suicide mission. You're character has about a 90% chance of dying but if done correctly it will be the most awesomely epic/emotional RP you've ever done.
I'm not saying let's do this now, we should make it coincide with something galactic and epic, but given the fact we can make a clone warrior at any time. I mean. Hey.
And I just feel like the role of a soldier has been deeply cheapened by the fact that nobody ever fething dies. Ever. Maybe it's time for a change.
Who would be interested in this?
We can drum up some bombastic scenarios as we progress
