GENERAL INFORMATION
Religion Name: Stykorex (Styk-or-ehx) (y as in why) Member Name: Stykorexi (both plural and singular.) Religion Type: Tritheism
Influence: Interplanetary Influence Area: Any Nebulae currently inhabited by the Wyrru.
Symbol: a circle, with several spiraling rings coming out of the center and spreading a little ways past the edge of it. A triangle is in the center of the circle covers the center of the spiral. This symbol is often painted or tattooed onto the head of the more religious wyrru, many others wear a sort of harnessed headdress that may contain the symbol.
Description: Before the universe, there were two planes. From one plane came Stytakak (styt-ahk-ak) which translated in their language to Star Time Maker, who created the universe. The universe was made calm. Nothing ever changed and nothing new ever happened. From the beginning, Stytakak set the Wyrru apart from the other species as the guardian of their plane. It’s said that when Stytakak created the universe, a second being emerged from the other plane - through which one entered via black holes - drawn out by the new thing. This being is referred to in their language as Chaos Bringer, translating vaguely to Xivoch in basic. Despite their opposing personalities, the two got along well. It wouldn't last. They soon realized that the universe was unbalanced. It wasn't made for the existence of chaos, so Xivoch returned to his plane. Saddened by their departure, Stytakak begins a new project with Xivoch's help. Together they create a third being, a medium between chaos and calm. The third Being is referred to as Heart-Law Maker, called Kortaknak (Kohr-tahkn-ahk) They were given no plane except for this one, and were tasked with creating a balance between chaos and calm. They're responsible for the creation of morals and the law of give and take, creating order in the middle of the two opposites.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
Founder: The religious text themselves were written by several different wyrru throughout a generation. Some names are known, such as Word Maker and Hopeful Spirit, but several others are lost to time. Many wyrru believe in the validity of the sources though, due in part to the accidental corroboration they had, despite there being evidence they never met, among other similar things.
Membership: The Wyrru are born into the religion, but by the time of their Xadok Kort (Death to Life) which marks the moments they know and understand the entirety of the beliefs, it’s not uncommon for some to leave. Likewise, it is not frowned upon for other species to join, the only requirement being the Xadok Kort (Death to Life) is completed. It's not encouraged though, as the difference in life spans when compared to most planet side species makes it difficult for them to follow their nomadic ways for much farther than their own galaxy.
Sacred: Nebulae are considered near sacred, through an odd mix of religion and history, and it is forbidden from fighting inside them. The texts of their scripture are considered sacred, and destroying one or stealing one is forbidden.

Dogma

The Force: One of the oldest stories is that of the force, and how it was made. It's said that all three Siblings banded together to create it. This is why the force has both calm and chaos, though not necessarily light or dark, and how it has the essence of give and take, which translates in the Lesser Known Galaxy to the poisonous wars between the Jedi and the Sith. There is a second story, where the Siblings gift the Wyrru the ability to use the Force so to better protect the entrance to the Realms.
Sentinels: It is believed the wyrru were created to watch over the planets and galaxies. Their ability to live in interstellar space and long life spans making traveling between even galaxies a trivial thing for them. After all, what's a few hundred years of travel for a species that lives for 4015 years?

Guardians: The wyrru guard the Space Between that is said to house their deities. This place can only be accessed through interstellar space, though even they don’t know how when it comes to Stytakak. The Styt tribe makes it their mission to find this entrance so as to better guard it.

Give and Take: By the rule of the youngest sibling, Everything has a give and take. For something to happen, something else happens in return. It is seen in birth and death, loss and gain. Even mundane things such as food sources. For them to eat, they must give something back in the form of waste. Because of this, it's important to respect the law of give and take, to not try and give too much or take too much because either way, the balance will be upset and someone will suffer for it.

Death: Partially due to their long lives, stytorexi - and consequently most wyrru, whether they believe or not - know that all things die eventually. This isn't to say they don't fear death, but it is inevitable and comes for all. Their religious beliefs reflect that. It's said when one dies, their spirit can go and become a member of the Siblings family. To them, spirit entails everything that makes up a person. Things such as memories, personality, and much more. To join the family, it is believed that they must have at least tried to follow the guidelines of their people. Learn, guard, and respect the law of give and take. It's not expected to follow these perfectly, the faith alone will give them the chance, but faith without works is dead. They must act like they believe, not just say they believe.
If one is admitted into the family, then there are different ideas of what happens. Like all family, they can go their separate ways. Some say they guard the realms of the gods, others say they exist in those two realms, and others still believe a mix of the two or something completely different. The two ideas that remain constant are the idea that you become a member of the family, or you don't and your spirit wanders the middle realm. Untethered from everything, they will eventually forget their lives, their personality fading not long after as their spirit dies and they become just another current in the force.
Family: The relations between the three deities puts an emphasis on family. They are said to be the first family, despite none of them having physical forms, and the chaotic yet controlled aspect of it traveled down to families today. Family is perceived as an important thing, and each new life is celebrated.

Live your best: Due partly to the beliefs of Give & Take and Family, the Wyrru believe that life should be celebrated, in both the good and the bad moments. They excel at picking themselves up after destruction to band together and celebrate another day survived. It’s a common mindset that you can mourn later, but you should celebrate the few rays of light you have when surrounded by darkness. As such, They Wyrru have a number of celebrations. Their most famous ones are the Xadok Kort, celebrating the full understanding of their beliefs and the death of the old, ignorant person followed by the birth of the new, knowledgeable being they become. This often takes centuries to achieve, and is an important step on the path to adulthood. The ceremony starts with a day of remembrance of everything they were before, followed by a day of celebration with feasting, dancing, and games long into the night. Then there are the Kort (Life) and Kort Ko (Life Binding) celebrations which are full of games and dancing and focus respectively on new life, be it adoptions, new members to the tribe, or birth; and marriage, where two or more - the max is typically four as many more than that and the different personalities clash. - Wyrru decide to spend the rest of their life with another. This can be in a romantic, platonic, or familial way. The last celebration, and least common, is the Xadox Voch (lit. chaotic death, refers to acts of mass destruction, be they natural or sentient made.) This is the most bitter sweat of the celebrations as it happens not long after mass destruction and large numbers of deaths. In this, all the members, no matter the clan, come together to help each other. Bringing what they have so that they may share it with those that don’t. It’s a celebration of making the best of what you can, and while it still has games and dancing for those able to, it also has food distributions and temporary places of healing where those with the skill, be it technologically or in the force, heal those who need it. The celebration focuses largely on the youngest sibling, Kortaknak and how they decreed that for every action there will be an equal and opposite reaction, and while that reaction may not be a single major action it's there, seen in the small details.

Reputation: Poor, while there any many members, few of them are well known in the galaxy, making the religion itself poorly known, as it can only be found when one searches extensively for it.
Members: Peaceful Chaos (Tyaxiv)

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Stykorex came from long before the Exodus, the destruction of their original home. Currently, they have several sources of the original content and later copies thanks to what the Shelt tribe. The faith itself, while still largely believed, wasn't as heavily relied upon until after the Exodus.

Generations later, one of the bloodiest religious wars broke out. The war was between the six modern tribes and the now exiled seventh tribe. The war lasted several generations and racked up the highest death toll of all their recorded wars. Three generations passed before the Chotask tribe was banished beyond the known universe. Despite the banishment, hundreds of wyrru leave the modern tribes a generation to seek out the banished Chotask tribe, intent on finding those with similar mindsets.
