Strengths-
Mental Acuity - Originally a part of the Universal Analysis Group, Lasuril was able to not only analyse and comprehend the data records that were continually brought through regarding the relics and prototypes that were presented to him in superhuman speeds, he was able to repeat and recite the notes with perfect recall. His ability to absorb and contain information mentally is yet to be surpassed and he has memorised details on as many subjects as he is able.
Observational skills - Along with his phenomenal memory, Lasuril has a keen eye for detail, often picking up on small nuances or extrapolating pieces of puzzles or motives from the data his observations have allowed him to absorb.
Weaknesses
Emotional Intelligence - While his ability to observe and understand motives of people is excellent, Lasuril understands these in terms of data and variables and not so much in terms of emotions. Expressions of emotion, whether sadness, happiness or anger leave him extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, in his attempts to try and explain his actions or reasonings often leave both he and those he is hoping to converse with, highly frustrated.
Data is king - Absorbing information and learning more is almost a compulsion to Lasuril and he will often abandon tasks or exercises he feels he has learnt everything about to take up something fresh and new. Temptation to skirt rules or bend policies in an effort to obtain a new piece of lore or history is constant and the idea of leaving a question unanswered or a story unfinished is akin in feeling to an itch that cannot be scratched.
Physical prowess - While he is able to hold his own in confrontation, this is largely more about his understanding of anatomy and physics that any muscle or combat ability. In any extended physical exercise, Lasuril will quickly deteriorate.
Appearance - A standard Chiss male of his age, Cobalt skin and dark hair with red eyes, he is relatively tall and slim.
Biography - Born to one of the smaller forty families on Csilla, Lasuril excelled even as a youth in his education and he was quickly noticed by many of the Aristocra. His potential was forecasted towards the Chiss Expansionary Defence fleets and many of the Syndics sought to sway him to their side as a political tool in the ever shifting political warscape that was the Chiss Aristocra.
When he was offered a position as an adoptive by many of the families, he earned the ire of the 9 ruling families by instead petitioning the Stybla family to allow him to join them, once one of the great 9 families but now relegated to one of the lowest statuses a family could have. What the Stybla family did have however, was many members within the Universal Analysis Group and it was here that Lasuril had his eyes set on.
Settling on the world of Sposia, he finally had access to technology and information of civilizations within and outside the chaos of Ascendancy space and was content to spend his life there reading all that he could. However, it was not to be, for when one of the Expansionary fleet ships returned from one of the deepest forays out of the Chaos and submitted the strange pieces of technology to the UAG, they submitted a strange cube covered in bizarre runes and symbols. Some of these had been found and submitted to the UAG but none while Lasuril was present.
It was while studying this that its true nature was revealed, a Jedi holocron. The ways of the force were not unknown to the Chiss but for a male to have the Second Sight to the point of it being nearly unheard of. The Skywalkers of the Ascendancy were the closest kept secret of the Chiss and the anomaly that not only a male but an adult male seemed to show similar signs could end in only two ways. A risk of revealing the Skywalkers of the Chiss to the rest of the Chaos and galaxy at large or on a table to be dissected and to see if some reasoning could be found for the anomaly. Neither sounded particularly pleasing to the young Chiss and so he instead chose to seek out the Jedi Order the Holocron mentioned in hopes of learning more.
