BIOGRAPHY:
Like all Chiss sky-walkers of her era, Cha'danni was an apex instinctive astrogator, a state secret, a child with no memory of her family.
The Expeditionary Defense Force cruiser she was assigned to fell into strange circumstances in Companion Grek, and Cha'danni, her minder, and several CEDF officers were consumed by a large sarlacc. They were routed to one of the long-term storage sub-stomachs and then digestively cocooned to become part of the sarlacc's collective consciousness indefinitely.
Cha'danni transcended not only her doomed situation but the natural loss of ability that most sky-walkers experienced in their early to mid teens, the sky-walkers' typical skillset, and even the secret memory blockage that sky-walkers experienced when taken from her family. She recalled her original family name. Half dead and half ghost, Stybla'cha'danni persisted as a dormant part of the sarlacc and emerged to ease other victims' transitions or assist their escape attempts.
Eventually, centuries after her birth and consumption, she aided a smuggler and a Jedi in a successful escape attempt that left the sarlacc intoxicated and reeling. A ship with high medical capabilities rescued them and eventually Stybla'cha'danni was extracted and placed in a prototype life support system within a droid chassis. For the first time ever, she had self-determination and the means to achieve it. The destruction of Csilla and the scattering of her people impacted her options, plans, and vestigial obligations. She set out adrift and happier for it.
