Description:
Stun Pearls are small, round stun grenades designed to look like harmless beads and can be worn as jewelry or carried without much hassle. Each Stun Pearl is covered with a white incandescent coating to mimic the appearance of a real pearl. There is a small metal pin in each Stun Pearl that can be used as a jewelry hook, and removing the pin will activate the effects of the Stun Perl. Five seconds after the pin is removed, the pearl will explode and release a ~3m radius charge. The effects of the Stun Perl can render most organics within the blast radius unconscious, provided they are not wearing proper protection. The Stun Perl does not affect droids or other non-organics. The effects of the Stun Perl can persist for several hours, after which they will wear off and those affected will regain use of their limbs and return to consciousness.
In essence, the Stun Perl is a standard stun grenade re-designed to be compact and convert for espionage and military use, but can also serve as protection for the average civilian.
