"I'm not sure. Im thinking it because blood indiciates an injury. Therefore, the amulet comes to life because of it healing nature. We already know that red means death. Green color must mean life. How the amulet choose which that I don't know yet."

Hawk knew it was risky to test this on himself. He place the injury next to the amulet. He smiles as the amulet uses it powers to heal the wound. "Amazing."

"Interesting" Was it an amulet of life or was it of death. Amulets were tricky from what she knew they could lure someone in, and then once they had them bound not let go. Hawk could have just now bonded the amulet to himself not knowing exactly what it would do to him.

"I don't know a lot about force objects Hawk, but what did you envision once you got it? Or did your visions only tell you where to find it?"

"My vision were only to find the amulet. It strange that I never saw myself with it. Most of visions are about other place and things. Usually it isn't about me. It about the greater Galaxy at large." His fingers caress the amulet as he talks. It felt warm to his touch.

"Anyway, now that I have it. I'll mediate and see what insight I can gather. I know Nate said it was evil. Even I said it was. Now I'm not so sure."

"Meditate, sounds like a good idea Hawk" She took a sip of the wine. There was a time when someone would have to talk about something else, so...what would she say next. "Why haven't you turned your father in?"

She was curious.

"Mostly because he is family. He is my father. I hope that one day he will return to being the Jedi that he was. He was a great Jedi Master. It just hurts to see him like that." He finishes his glass of wine. He pours himself another glass.

"Anyways, I would rather talk about you. Tell me more about your family? Are you close? I would love to meet them."

"I am close to my family, most Zeltrons seem to manage to be close unless something horrid happens. I hear the Republic has gone after Zeltros again, maybe it will be safe to travel there soon..."

She smiled.

"Your father the only way for him to return is to want to, to be redeemed...someone would have to show him the way.." She drummed her fingers on the table for a moment. She knew she shouldn't but she couldn't help it.

Hawk heard that news as well. "It will be nice to able to visit there again with a native, I would love to meet members of your family." He couldn't help notice Leilani drumming the table with her fingers. That usually sign of being nervous or impatient.

"Is there something wrong?" He ask looking at her hand.

She stopped her fingers, "No, bad habit I'm afraid. Everything is fine Hawk" She smiled then, "my family I'm sure would love for you to visit" She was sure they would not be happy that first he was human, and second he was Jedi.

Since they had been imperials most of their lives it would be a very interesting meeting.

"Perhaps when time permits we can go there, it will take time for everything to be normal." Along time actually but that was to be expected, "So. You really think you can get to control this?" She pointed towards the amulet.

"Yes, in time. In my visions, I did see the amulet user was able to control it. So I think it is possible. I just have to get over my fear of it. Fear is the dark side."

He gently strokes the curve of the amulet like a person would to animal. It faintly glows. .

Too much like my precious she thought, she watched him, it could very well harm him in the darkest of ways. What would a Jedi do when confronted with a powerful darkness. She did not know.

"Even when fear is overcome, I do not know if it will keep the darkness at bay. I understand the darkness is very much like a lover, gentle and enticing. You don't think it is?"

"It can be like that. Fear leads to the dark side. I reason when I can overcome my fear of this..it will strenght my belief in the light side of the force. The downside is..sometimes fear of a thing can be good. It leads you to be more cautious."

He pulls his hand away from the amulet to look at her. "Maybe I need a lover to understand how seductive the darkness can be" He says flirting with Leilani. "Maybe you should seduce me tonight."

She laughed just a little he was being a bit coy wasn't he. "I might" She held up the wine glass, "But I would worry about this amulet Hawk Solo, I helped you to get it so now I am partially responsible for what it does to you"

Onyx eyes gleamed as she looked at him.

He couldn't help but smile. She was worried about him. That meant she cares about him. "I will be careful. It helps that you will be watching over me like my own sexy angel." He takes a sip of wine. His blue eyes sparkling with his desire for her. There was something about Leilani that made Hawk throws away caution. With her his was a bit reckless..more of a rebel.

"Wouldn't it be hard to heavenly as an angel and then sexy? Isn't sexy more of a devilish thing?" She was toying with him it was fun to do so she could see it in his eyes that he wanted her.

She would play this game out first little questions here and there, how long could he do it.

"So you don't mention your sister and brother much, did they make it off Corellia?"

. "No. I don't." He says with a playful smirk on his face. His blue eyes sparkling in the candlelight. He takes another sip of wine. He place the wine glass down at the mention of his siblings.

"My sister did. I haven't heard from Brad in ages. I assume he is alive. Sooo. " his voice trails off. He would have felt Brad's death. He really didn't like talking about his sibling. They weren't close. Even Sam and him weren't as closed as they used to be when they were younger.

"My mom is having a hard time dealing with the lost of Corellia. She been depressed about it."

She sipped her drink, it was nice to just talk at the moment.

He arches an eyebrow at the word movement. "No, I haven't heard anything about it. I've been too busy the last few months searching for the amulet." He wasn't sure if he liked the sound of that.

"what you don't think some of your fellow Corellians should go looking for a new planet, a new home that isn't broken in two, and dripping into space?" She looked at him rather quizzically, what was he thinking?

Or what did he think she meant?
