"That is a possibility." He says a little embarrassed that he hadn't thought of that. He had been more interested in getting the amulet. He hadn't considered the ramifications.

"Good thing, you are hear looking out for me. I have the bad habit of acting before thinking."

"Do you now?" She shook her head, "And you're a Jedi still so they must have thought you quite capable, so where is that Jedi logic at?" She smiled trying to take some of the tension off.

Hawk turns and face Leilani sliding his arms around her. "When I'm with you..my Jedi logic goes out the door." He says flirting with her. He leans in and kisses her. It wasn't the most romantic place. Just being there with her made it all right. The amulet gems glows white than fades away leaving it a clear color.

Leilani kissed Hawk in return, "that does not answer my question, you cannot always evade something with a kiss Hawk" She smiled at him, devil that he would try wouldn't he. "So..jedi logic?"

He grins lopsided. She couldn't blame him for trying. "Jedi logic..tells me to get rid of this. I just want to understand it before I do that. It such a drastic action to take. Destroying something before you understand it."

"Hmm" Leilani wasn't sure he could be right, "WEll figure it out carefully and be sure to be right, otherwise there are likely costs associated with it that you don't want to deal with" She smiled, reached over and brushed the hair from his brow, "ok?"

"I will. I promise." It was nice knowing that she was worried about him. "It is going to take sometime to learn about the amulet,". Above them clash of thunder and lightning filled the sky,

"We better find shelter fast." He takes her hand as they tried to find a place to ride out the storm.

They ran over the muddy paths looking for anything that could serve for shelter. Leilani looked up and dark clouds looked angry, and soon the rain beat down on them. "something soon, or drown"

In the distance, he spotted a small dome shaped house. "Over there." He says to Leilani as they ran to the man made structure. It was a lot smaller than he thought.

"In here." He was going to have to crawl in. He gets on his hands and knees and crawls in the small hutt. He knew that they would be safe here. The place was infused with the light side.

She arched a brow, small, yes. Taking a deep breath she followed him on her hands and knees into the shelter.

"So, you don't think its odd there's a house in the swamp?" She smiled, so when would the owner come home?

"No, I don't think it odd,". He sat down on the straw floor. "We don't have to worry about the owner coming back. This place hasn't been used in a long time. A very long time."

"Let's see if I can get a fire going in the fireplace." He made use of some twigs and moss to make a small fire. "This Master Yoda's home, We are safe here."

If this was master Yoda's home it was made of stronger stuff than mud considering the age it would be. She smiled though, and tried to make herself comfortable. This was going to be one of those nights were she'd be thinking about her soft bed.

"Yoda huh...hmm.. hope the spiders don't crawl out" She smiled big again.

"What if you throw the amulet in the fire, what happens?"

Hawk chuckles, "Spiders wouldn't dare come into Master Yoda's home." He says playfully. "You warm enough?" He asks moving closer to her. He could sense that she was a little uncomfortable.

He glances at the fire. Fire? "I don't think it hot enough to destroy it." In the split second, he had a vision of himself on Mustafar with the amulet and Kay. Kay..he hadn't seen her in years.

"Yeah, I'm just not the camp out type of girl I really prefer hotels, beds, soft blankets..you know" She smiled he knew he had met her on a world that reveled in luxury. "So. Any inklings of the amulet?"

Did he have any idea on it yet? Not likely they had not tried enough with it. one thing for certain she wasn't touching it.

"Maybe we can change that. Not on this trip..but perhaps next time we can go camping in more comfortable place." He pulls a blanket out of his back pack. "We can share this," He scoots closer to her, He wraps his arm around her shoulder as they cuddle under the blanket.

"Not really..just a few glimpse. It is very powerful device."

"Hawk if you take me camping, it better have tent service" Leilani got closer, it was cozy for certain. "Amulet is dangerous, I know you know this" She looked at him, "don't let it get you ok?" She smiled.

Yes he was in her life and she was growing attached to him. A spy with an attachment though, spelled trouble.

"Tent service?" He says with a chuckle. "I was picturing us sleeping under the stars along a lake. We would have a very nice tent. I would cook our dinner on the campfire of the fresh fish that we caught."

He turns his head and looks in her eyes. "I won't. Let it get me." He kisses her. The rain on the hutt and warm fire made it nice cozy even romantic.

She kissed him back, "Tent service, if we are near a lake there better be a cabin, the fish might be ok" She smiled trying to keep up her part of the conversation, she wasn't the bug and swamp type she was the crystal and satin sheets type.

"Do you really enjoy this?" the humming of an insect filled her ears.

"Ok. We can have a cabin by the lake." He says compromising. The tent wasn't important. It was spending time with her that all. "Yeah I do. I enjoy the outdoors. A forest..a lake...not a swamp. It bring back fond memories of my childhood with my family before the divorce."

He tosses a few more branches into the fire. "Speaking of family, I think it time for you and Maddie to meet."

His daughter. Oh my. She had known it would come up at some point but was she ready, she didn't normally meet children. She looked at the fire, "oh why do you say that?"

She smiled.
