Stranded: I've Come From A Shuttle That Marooned Me On Gamorr

Sotir nodded when the Duros' decision was made and she decided against lingering for too long. After all, this wasn't the most hospitable of planets, and Xhal seemed uneased as it was. "Forgive me, Master Chiss, but I believe we will be going now. I do not doubt your intentions, just know that I have a duty to uphold in bringing this man to safety - I'm sure you understand." With that she extended out a protective arm, keeping a very wary gaze on the so-called-Padawan, whom Sotir did not trust at all, and began to wander towards the spaceport where her ship was waiting, provided Xhal followed her of course, it would not do to leave him behind. The natural hostility of the planet, matched with so many eager individuals, was enough to set even Sotir moderately on edge, but she did not show it, instead she kept up her warm temperament and smiled at the Duros, attempting to keep him at ease. Her free hand, however, lingered down towards the weapon on her belt, as a precaution incase anyone had any not-so-wise ideas. Sotir was trained to fight, and had been since a very young age, she would protect this man with her life...

Nodded to her and stepped back, bowing his head. He headed off to a nearby alley and vanished from site, shadowing Xhal and Sotir as they walked, attempting to find any trace on whether this woman was aiding the Duros out of her own gain or out of kindness. He also kept a close eye on those around them, his rifle off his back now as he waited for something if anything to start that might endanger the Duros' safety. To keep a close eye on them he headed towards the roofs of the Gamorrean abodes, should they be traversable, if not he would follow on foot, careful to not be seen by the two themselves.

Xhal muttered something under his breath, keeping pace directly behind Sotir as she guided him to the closest spaceport. Xhal rarely walked alongside anyone. He preferred to simply follow. Despite the recent turn of events in his favor, he was still unwilling to be anything but nervous and antsy. He probably wouldn't be able to relax again until they were at least one lightyear from Gammor. He couldn't help but admire the composure Sotir held herself with on this wretched planet. She didn't seem anything like Xhal in the least bit, who was forever screaming internally for one reason or another. Her hand was lingering towards her weapon, almost as if she was ready to withdraw it at any moment and fend off would-be-assailants. Some people would take comfort in having that kind of protection. On the other hand, Xhal's nervousness and internal screaming intensified.

Finally they neared the spaceport, unawares of their silent follower. True to her word, Sotir had only come to this wretched planet to pick up the engineer, and thus Juthan had nothing to worry about... Not that he knew that. "Is anything bleeding?" she called over her shoulder, after all he'd been in quite a state after the beatings he'd received. When they passed through the spaceport she waved her credentials at the security personnel and both she and Xhal were permitted access through to the hangar bays. "Not too far now" she chimed, still remarkably upbeat and warm despite how badly things could have gone for them so far. Her ship was one she'd borrowed from the CIS, shiny and new, large enough to accommodate both of their needs as they ventured back to Roon... Which would take some time. Hopefully he would be back in one piece by then. "Is there anything you require for the journey? I'd rather we stopped off at the closest planet, rather than linger here, if there is."

Xhal rubbed his forehead. Nothing that had been bleeding before hadn't scabbed over already, so he supposed the answer to that was no. "No." Xhal said, realizing a few seconds after that his response to her considerate question had been unnecessarily blunt and probably rude. "Er, no bleeding. Not any longer."

She flashed some kind of credentials to the bored looking Gammorrean handling spaceport security. Could it even spel credential? Xhal decided not to dwell on it. Planets with literacy rates lower than 90% stressed him out. Once they were in the hangar itself, Xhal felt slightly more at ease. She asked if he needed anything for the journey, to which he shook his head. "I'm alright... Thanks. Where are we, uh, going?" Xhal just now remembered to ask such a question. He had apparently been so wrapped up in absconding with the one person who didn't give him the creeps... Or rather, gave him less creeps, that he hadn't made that basic inquiry. Or even more importantly:

"Were you, uh... Sent here?"

"Good, but I'll check you over for concussion anyway... If you don't mind that is? It's easy to check for" she glanced back at him as the ramp to her loaned-ship lowered. "After you" she said with a sweeping gesture towards the ship itself, while she mulled over his question. "It's a planet known as Roon..." Truth be told that wasn't his destination, it was hers, but she figured the Templars would know which planet to send him to... After all, she was still new to this, she wasn't even sure which planet he'd been intended for. As she wandered up the ramp after him a small smile appeared upon her lips. "In a sense. Not here in particular, but it's a good job I did find you here before that pseudo-Jedi took you under his wings. He wasn't a Jedi." The latter she stated rather bluntly, yet still the words flowed in a tender manner. "Come along, you have a compartment of your own for the flight from here, anything you'd require is onboard - save for any specifics. But... Yeah, you don't seem to mind about those." With another cheerful grin she prepared to take the Duros from this planet. For her ever-so-cheerful mannerisms this place wasn't one she liked, but given her Royal-past it was something she had gotten used to covering up. It wasn't befitting of a Princess to be rude, after all.

Juthan watched as they passed the spaceport guard, quickly bribing the stupid Gamorrean and sticking to the shadows as he pulled out a small launcher. He aimed at the main body of the ship and fired of the slug, which would impact and cling to the surface. Its amazing what you can find on the black market, these little trackers would tell alert Juthan to the travels of the ship and do so very discreetly, after all he did not like losing a target so easily, nor did he like the fact he had no idea whom the woman was. Before heading to his own ship Juthan took a glance at the ship and took a quick record of the model and any markings on the ship that would give away its owner's employers and/or superiors. Grinning as he considered this a job well done.

Things moved very quickly after the Chiss arrived. Talon neither got to stage a proper ambush nor did he get to head them off during their walk to the nearest city and one of Gamorrs few starports. However, his ship was closer to the village and flying beat walking on most occasions.

Talon rushed from his ship and tossed a small pouch of credit chips to the guards and rushed to find the ship where Taleed was heading. He was fast in his arrival, but not nearly fast enough. He entered the bay where Sotir and Xhal were birthed just as they walked up the boarding ramp. He listened through the force and picked up the 'he wasn't a Jedi'.
Talon drew on the force for stealth and rushed forward, his plain grey armor made no noise as he moved.

Quickly he reached the boarding ramp and wasted no time entering the shiny new toy of a ship. Talon could not say he was being wise but he could certainly claim diligence. Once on board he had a very pressing choice. Extract the scientist, who was little more than a potential proof of Talon's skill, or kill the woman and her pretty little tattoo designs.

Talon decided to do what Sith did best, subjugate the weak and use them against their would be defender. Talon quickly moved through the ship and found the Duros.

"Dear Mr. Taleed, I think you mistook me earlier. You're coming with me. I have an incompetent Sith 'lord' to expose and you are just the Duros to do it."

Talon reached forward with the force and grasped the Duros seeking to pull him within reach. Talon had no desire to hurt the scientist, that would just be a waste of effort and a useful being, but the scientist did need to be restrained until after the Sith lord had paid.

Just as Juthan was about to leave the space port he sees Talon run to the ship and curses the moron under his breath. He threw the launcher into his side holster and went after him towards the ramp, heading inside up the ships ramp if possible before it was closed. Once inside he drew the pistol at his side, if he could get inside in time, and cautiously went down the corridor, keeping the setting on stun. If he was unable to reach the ship's ramp in time, he would bolt for his own ship and power it up as fast as he could, hoping to chase after Sotir's ship and aid her should the ship be commandeered by Talon. Juthan would not let this apparent Jedi take his target without a say in it, nor would he let the Republic come close to getting another prospective mind on their side.

"Wait, what do you mean he wasn't a Jedi?" Xhal said, raising an eye. "What, uh, what was he, then?"

His concern about where he was going was swiftly switched to a concern about who he had just interacted with back there if it wasn't a Jedi. It had to be a Sith, then, wouldn't it? What would an independent one want with him? It must've been a lower-rank one too. A more powerful Sith would have just killed everyone in a five mile radius and then forcibly kidnapped Xhal. At least, that was Xhal's impression of how they operated. Whatever the case, this revelation saw a marked increase in his desire to get as far away from Gamorr and Sith space as humanly possible.

Of course it was at that moment, after entering the ship behind Sotir, that he hear someone else enter and speak to him. Duke. Xhal spun around to face him, already shaking with what most folks would assume to be fear. So shaken up was the Duros (again) that he couldn't even process what Talon was saying to him. Something about a Sith Lord? Exposing thereof? Whatever it was, Xhal wanted no part. He simply just could not articulate that sentiment, though.

"Uh, er, uh- Ah!" Xhal's response came in surprised stuttering followed by a brief exclamation as he was tugged forward by Talon. The Duros tried to resist it, but instead ended up losing his footing and faceplanting on the hard, durasteel floor of Sotir's shuttle.

If Juthan was able to get within the ship before the ramp closed, he stood around the corner, hearing Xhal's exclamation and Talon's words. He pulled out one of his blaster pistols, the weapon still on the stun setting and waited in the shadows to see if Sotir handles the problem of if he needs to step in.

Had he not been able to reach the ship's ramp in time, he is sprinting for his ship through the Gamorrean populace. Dodging every wild swing sent at him by the moronic aliens.
