Stranded In A Dead End Town.

Tatooine

More specifically on the outskirts of some settlement. This settlement was far from other towns and city’s of Tatooine, separated by miles and miles of empty wastes. Luckily the teen crashed so close to the town. Mason sighed as he brushed off his jeans jacket. He looked back to his X-wing part of it buried in the sand. The teen facepalmed as he grabbed a piece of gum out of his pocket, unwrapped it, and began chewing. Mason looked down at the cracked cockpit window and groaned, not because of the ship, but because his hair was all messed up.

“You’ve got to be freakin kidding me!”Mason grumbled as he hastily ran a hand through his hair trying to make it somewhat decent. Mason sighed as he picked grabbed his lightsaber and fastened it to his belt. His eyes went wide as he noticed that one of his favorite stuffed animals were destroyed in the crash.

“Mr Womprat...” Mason said with a hint of sadness in his voice. The Jedi shook his head and turned to the town. There had to be someone that would be able to help him out, hopefully, he didn’t wanna be stuck on Tatooine forever. Though the twin suns would be a good idea for a painting.

Mason smiled as he walked into the town, his usual swagger present as he made his way through a market. The tall teen chewed his gum as he walked into a diner. The smell of bantha steak filled his nose. He decided to sit down at the counter. Soon a waitress would come to take his order. “One burger please.” Mason said as he still tried to he’d smudges of dirt off his jacket. The whole time chewing his gum, stopping to blow a bubble with an audible pop

He reached out with the force to see if there was any other force user in the area. Closing his eyes and taking a breath. He reached out.

Lori happened to be waiting for her order to arrive, at the same diner that [member="Mason"] happened to walk into. Not only that, but she was alsp at the counter, drumming her fingers on the countertop as she waited.

She raised a brow at him as wiped dirt off his jacket and popped some...bubble gum? Well if he wanted to stand out, that was surely a way t---

Lori felt a slight tingle as Mason reached out with the Force, his eyes closed as he focused. Oh...she knew of that technique. He was scoping out his surroundings. No doubt he'd pick up on her Force Signature right away.

"Don't you know that that gum of yours is going to ruin the flavour of the burger for you?" And he better not get his order before hers! Lori had been waiting a while and it seemed as though some people had already gotten their order before hers. So unfair!

Mason felt someone extremely close. The force would turn out to be right as Mason heard a girl next to him speak up. Ah it must of been the other Force user he was sensing.

"Maybe. But you never know till you try." Mason said as he blew another bubble. He would let it expand til it made another pop.

The tall teen ran a hand through his hair subconsciously. He smiled brightly as he looked to her.

"Anyway. I'm Mason" the teen said as he smiled. The teen would look around the diner and notice there weren't many people, he sighed.

"So what're you doing in a town that's so far from the rest of civilization?" Mason asked. Soon after his face would light up.

"Oooh is there a nice place in the market that sells awesome nail polish?" Mason asked genuinely wondering, he looked at his nails, the pink flower design was getting old.

[member="Loreena Arenais"]

Lori smirked at [member="Mason"] . Of course she wouldn't know if the bubble gum would ruin her foody experience, but she could certainly guess!! He was quite the odd one. Not much younger than herself by the looks of it.
Still, her life experiences as of late have gotten her to...calm down a bit.

"I'm Lori. Good to meet ya." Of course Lori didn't give out her full name. That was mostly out of habit now, instead of a necessity. It wasn't as though she was a Princess anymore. In fact, she didn't carry a title at all! For the first time EVER!

"Me? Oh I was just checking out some components for a project of mine. You never know what you can find in...well, pretty much anywhere!"

FINALLY her bantha burger artived. Lori picked it up with both hands and then took a big bite. She chewed some of it down before answering Mason, still with her mouth full. "Nail polish?...Uhh...Dunno."

Mason noticed the girl's smirk. Then she introduced herself as Lori. Mason beamed a smile and ran his hand through his hair subconsciously. As she talked about being in the dead end town because she was looking for components for a project.

Mason laughed as Lori got her food. She tore into it so quick Mason could barely comprehend. With a mouth full of food the girl next to him said she didn't know anything about nail polish shops being in the market.

Mason's face fell as he looked back to his nails. "Well it was a good shot. I need to change out the pattern. I'm thinking of putting white hearts surrounded by pink or something like that." Mason said as he perked up suddenly. He looked to Lori

"So what components are you looking for? Maybe I can help."Mason said.

"If not I'll treat you to getting our nails done."Mason exclaimed.

"Or...WE COULD DO BOTH" Mason said with a huge grin on his face.

Mason got his burger and looked at it. "Looks pretty good."
[member="Loreena Arenais"]

Lori took a look at the nail polish that [member="Mason"] was sporting. They looked nice. She glanced down at her own nails (if one could call bitten down fingernails as proper nails) and saw how much they lacked in finesse. Hmmm.

"I'm looking for some nozzles for my jetpack. I want to try to get a better diametre that could give an extra boost to my output without using up extra fuel." So of course she'd need two for each style.

She took another bite of her burger, chewing some of it down before speaking. "Both would be nice, thank you." Lori nodded as he commented on her burger. "Wanna try a bite?
If you like it, then you could order one too."

Mason noticed Lori glancing at her own nails.

Mason listened as Lori spoke about needing new jetpack nozzles. But that's about as much as Mason understood. He smiled.

"I'm sure there's something in the market even though it's a small town...you never know." Mason said.

Lori took another bite, swallowed and commented about how both would be good. Mason's face beamed. "Awesome, we're going to have so much fun!" Mason said: the sound of excitement present in his voice.

Lori asked if he wanted a bite, and if he liked it he could order one as well.

Mason tilted his head. "Thanks, I appreciate, but I'll stick with gum." Mason said as he blew another bubble.
[member="Loreena Arenais"]

"Yeah, you never know."

Oh boy did [member="Mason"] ever brighten up than when she agreed to get her nails done with him. Of course she was totally self conscious about her nails. No doubt anyone trying to fix them would have a lot of work on their hands with not much to work with.

She took another bite of her burger and chewed it all down. Just then, the waitress plopped a burger down in front of him. Apparently they both had forgotten that he had made an order. "Well I guess it's gum with a side of burger.
Unless you are going to save it for later?"

Mason smiled, as she agreed with him. He watched as she took another bite. A burger was plopped in front of him and he smirked. She commented about what he was gonna do.

Mason shrugged. "I'm pretty excited right now, maybe I'll save it for later. "Excuse me miss, can you put this in a to go box?" Mason asked , she nodded and walked off.

Mason sighed it'd probably take her a bit to get it.

He looked back at Lori. "So you think the market has those thingys you want?" Mason asked as he looked towards the market.

[member="Loreena Arenais"]

Lori snickered as [member="Mason"] seemed so excited to get his nails done. Well, to each their own. She was already doing what she liked; enjoying a juicy Bantha burger.

More mouthfuls were taken and chewed as Mason waited to get his boxed up. Who could be too excited to eat? Well, he was. So that was one person, anyways.

Lori swallowed down her mouthful. She nodded in response to his question. "Oh yes, they should.
Whether or not I'll find the right ones that I need remains to be seen. Doesn't hurt to look though. Hopefully if I do find them, I can haggle a good deal."

Mason smirked, [member="Loreena Arenais"] had an attitude that he liked, she was pretty laid back. Mason watched as she nodded her head and responded to him. Mason smiled as he chewed his bubble.

"Haggling is fun. Just start flirting with the vendor and all should go well." Mason smirked as the woman plopped his box down.

"Thanks luv. Oh can we get the tabs, gonna check out the market." Mason said, the woman brought back the two tabs and Mason smiled. He pulled out enough credits for the two bantha burgers and a decent tip.

He turned to Lori. "Just let me know when you're ready to go." Mason said with a smile.

He ran his hand through his hair again trying to get it in the right spot. He smiled

"This heat is not good for the hair" Mason chuckled.

[member="Loreena Arenais"]

Lori snort-laughed at the thought. "I'm not much of a flirt.
In fact....I don't think that I've even done it before."
She pondered as she took the last of the burger into her mouth, wondering if there was ever a time that she flirted at all. Hmmm. Not that she knew of.

She licked her fingers once she was done and dried them off with a napkin, thanking [member="Mason"] for paying for her food. Then Lori was on her feet. "I'm ready.
Since you paid, we'll go do the nail thing first. And yeah, the heat can really dry one out. You gotta stay hydrated, you know? I prefer worlds with more humidity. Which are your favourites?"

Mason laughed when Lori said she didn't think she'd flirted before, then he realized she was being serious. Mason frowned.

"Don't worry, I'll show you when we look for your parts, it'll be fun I promise." Mason smiled. He watched as she finished off her burger.

"Awesomeness, let's go find someone to do our nails." He stood up and paused, he didn't really have a favorite world. But then Naboo popped into mind.

"Naboo has great sunsets. Perfect for painting. Plus the natural beauty is always amazing." Mason said thoughtfully.

"I also find Kashyyyk to be a nice place, vast greenery and incredibly tall trees. The Silver Jedi are great people too." Mason said as he wrapped his jacket around his waist and walked to the diner door.

[member="Loreena Arenais"]

It'll be fun? If anything she figured that watching [member="Mason"] flirt would at the very least be entertaining.

Lori followed him out of the diner, listening to his answers. "I'm a fan of Commenor.
I was born there, spent a lot of my life there. Mandalore is nice too. Not as good as it used to be, I hear, but they are recovering."
As he spoke of the Silver Jedi, she shrugged her shoulders. "They're okay, I guess.
I'm not allowed to be much of myself arpund them though. My Dad says that they don't like Mandalorians and given that my Mom is one and I got a lot of training from them, I'm not supposed to act TOO Mandalorian around them. Whatever that means..."
As far as she knew, it meant that she couldn't ride around on her jetpack or fly in her fighter the way thatshe liked to, unless it may cause them to shoot her out of the sky or something. More than likely if she got into a scrap with someone, they'd blame her for it too.

Mason's sneakers stepped onto the sands of Tattooine as the made their way through various streets on their way to the market.

"I've actually never been to Commoner or Mandalore. But I've only heard rumors of Mandolorians tho. I don't know what's going on, but I believe you can't judge people for things that happen." Mason said as he ran his hand through his hair yet again.

"Don't"Not allowed around much? For being too Mando?" Mason asked with a smirk. "Wait, are they gonna tell me I'm not allowed around for wearing too much pink?" He joked.

"I dunno, I like it there, I got a lot to learn though, but my master seems capable for sure."

Mason lead [member="Loreena Arenais"] into a small shop. A couple of nail stylists were sitting behind a counter.

"Hey hunny, Lori and I are gonna get our nails done, I'm thinking for me: removing the old coats of polish, and adding a new one. The designs, white flowers, but keep the base pink." Mason said.

He looked to Lori and tapped his chin. "For her..."

He smiled. "I'm thinking a nice green to match her eyes, it'll be perfect for completing your whole look. It'll bring it together. You'll have all the guys trying to get with you." Mason smiled. He then sat across one of the stylists. Motioning Lori to take the other seat.

"Don't"So what do you do for fun Lori?"

"You can't judge people for what others do, either. Not everyone agrees with their leaders, or chooses to participate."

Would [member="Mason"] get told not to wear so much pink? It was hard to say. But she didn't think so...

Lori followed him and slowly sat down on the chair beside his. She gingerly placed her hands down on the counter, having no idea of what was going to happen. Did people really pay others to simply paint their nails?

"Green sounds nice.
I don't need any guys trying to get with me though. I'm already taken. As for what I like to do for fun? Tinker with my jetpack and my ships, and of course I love to fly. What about you?"
