Stolen and unable to scream in the silence

Her whole body ached from all the recent ordeal that had taken place, though notably her chest area and midriff was probably in the most pain. She cracked her eyes opening them and quickly squinting as the light shone in her eyes. She looked around her and had temporarily forgotten what had recently happened, not remembering being placed in the bacta tank and now healing. Glancing around the room, slightly panicked she let her head fall to the right and saw Andorreth meditating in the room. She closed her eyes and let a breath go, relaxing once again. "..Andorreth" She tried to speak, her voice weak and barely audible, coming out as a strained whisper.

She knew he wouldn't have heard her, considering the level of volume that was coming out of her mouth. She sighed once again and counted to three in her head before sitting up, wincing with the pain in her ribs, her nails digging into her palm as the other grasped her rib area. "Andorreth." She tried again, this attempt being a little louder. She also noticed an irritating ache in her shoulder, nothing compared to her ribs, she could put up with the shoulder.

As she sat on the edge of the bench, waiting for the pain to slowly dissipate and die down her memories started to come back to her, every single one of them. She looked around the room and saw her jacket tossed to the die onto a chair. She couldn't help but feel cold and shiver a little, she couldn't tell if it was from coldness or pure shock of the trauma she'd gone through. As if her mind had been read, a droid came in a folded kimono robe in hand. "For you, requested by Captain Andorreth." Jae smiled in return and grabbed the kimono, grateful. "Thankyou" She slowly out the kimono on, feeling like she took an hour to get one arm through.

I heard Jae's voice and while she was getting accustomed to everything I rose silently from where I'd been sitting and moved out of Jae's immediate line of sight. As she struggled with the kimono I came up behind her and helped her pull on the rest. Her hair was still wet from the bacta bath and grabbing a towel I said "I don't think you know how glad I am that you're safe now Jae...." Keeping mindful of her ribs I gently wrapped her in a hug. Then sinking to my knees I gently kissed her ribs and sat there I wasn't sure what to say "Jae....I'm so sorry I should've kept eyes on you...." She looked about ready to drop from the pain and the shock and I simply picked her up and started carrying her in my arms to my cabin. I wasn't going to leave her any time soon....

I felt Jae relax back into my arms as I carried her towards my cabin and hitting the button with my elbow I stepped through the door with Jae in my arms. Walking over to the bed I knelt gently laying her down on my bed then locked the door, I'd removed my armor after having gotten back. Now laying in bed I grabbed the towel from my shoulder and began gently drying our Jae's hair she deserved every luxury I could give her and I'd be sure she got it. The trauma of what she'd gone through wasn't fair. She was so full of energy, wanting to see good in people, being care-free. I lay there next to her and silently hoped she wouldn't lose that about herself and that she wouldn't shy away from me either...

Jae's vision started to clear and slowly managed to see objects which were simple blurs a few moments ago. She turned her head slowly, looking for Andorreth, swearing she'd seen him there a second ago. She soon felt a hand behind her, assisting her with the kimono, realising it was Andorreth. She heard him comment on how glad he was to have her back with him and safe once again. She smiled lightly at him, "You and me both." She attempted to keep the mood light despite her realisation of how real the situation she'd just gone through really was. But that was simply her wanting Andorreth to not worry about her too much. Though she knew herself, she'd be too frightened to leave Andorreth at this stage, after the recent events she was left terrified. She wrapped her left arm around him as he embraced her, leaving her injured right arm beside her.

She winced slightly though relaxed once again as Andorreth carried her in his arms. Being placed onto his bed she welcomed to soft sheets and plush mattress, relaxing furthermore. She could feel him gently drying off her hair as he lay next to her. Her breathing was steady though weak at the same time. She turned her head slightly over towards him, "Andorreth..It's not your fault for what happened, please don't blame yourself." The last thing she wanted was for Andorreth to take upon what had happened to her onto his own shoulders and bear the burden of it all. What had happened wasn't his fault in the slightest and she didn't want him to dwell on it too much, though she knew he'd never forgive himself for what had happened. She exhaled and laid there in silence for a moment or two before speaking again, "What..what happened to the Captain?" She asked, not remembering the last few events very clearly.

Smiling slightly at seeing Jae simply relax in my bed I waited and realized slowly I actually wasn't to blame. Then she asked what happened to the Captain. Tightening up I calmly and coldly said "Dead. Not in a clean way either...Every one of the crew members that I sensed the feel of defiling another in....all of them dead. The Captain enjoyed what he did that was the reason he died messy and not cleanly. While you were in the bacta bath I went back to the ship....there were others trapped there who are free now. When we head back into civilization we'll drop them off at a shelter for women on Coruscant. They deserve a fresh start.....and we could use a vacation Jae."

With that I started stripping out of my armor and once in simple shorts and with a programmed jump in the nav-computer I engaged the jump to get all of us away from this horrid place. Then I joined Jae in my bed aboard the Dauntless and moved closer to her allowing her to rest her head on my chest and me to protectively pull her against me and rest my arm across her tummy. I wanted to shield Jae and just feel her relax after this horrid day...

She listened to what Andorreth had to say about the Captain, she decided she was glad she didn't remember much at the end of those events. Coming to the conclusion that it was best she not have more graphic images to linger around in her head. As it was she couldn't get rid of the memories of being on the ship and what the Captain had done to her. Then again, that's what memories do, stick with you till the very end.

She felt Andorreth lay on the bed next to her as she tried her best to move closer, though Andorreth did most of the work. Her head lay on his chest, her ribs ached from the movement though the pain began to subside after getting comfortable and staying still. "Vacation?" She laughed lightly at the idea, "I'm down with that idea."
