Description: In order to branch out and not restrict themselves to particular vehicles, the Techno Union has sided with a focus from Eridium Industrial to offer the Stingray Repulsor Vehicle. This vehicle is designed in a similar fashion to the Armadillo LS/EV however the Stingray does not attempt to make itself a skirmisher. Primarily an exploration vehicle, the Stingray has advanced sensors and an advanced lab for testing all manner of samples collected on a planet's surface. It does serve a minor secondary position as it is so quick. The Stingray is a perfect vehicle to use when a low-flight quick response, SAR or courier is preferred over standard airspeeders or holonet transmission. The Stingray will be in and out of an area before it is even noticed.
The vehicle depends solely on its speed and agility to get where its going and will not fair well in direct combat. It is created with the explorer in mind and is only used in light duty around combat zones as a last resort.
Additionally, the vessel uses a J2 Hegemoninc Automaton brain to give it a simulated droid intelligence. This is very useful for logging data, assisting the scientists within the vessel, providing real time data streams and giving an extra set of 'eyes' to the world around them.
