DESCRIPTION
Born from the ashes of the Horizon Repulsor Corporation, Stellarwind Ground Engineering is a fairly localised, but rapidly expanding business venture centered in the Outer Rim. Like its aforementioned predecessor, it specialises primarily in the mass production of ground based vehicles, their related components and after-market modifications. It also has recently set up a small racing league in the Kallea sector that it hopes to spread in the coming months and years, sponsoring several up and coming racers with the intent of further advertising its products. Pop-up events are also becoming an increasing trend in areas in which they hope to cultivate a market. A little bit of side betting action doesn’t exactly hurt the bottom line, either.
Unbeknownst to the wider market, SEI also benefits from a discrete smuggling operation that sees components regularly shipped with a little extra something-something in the containers. Nothing too nefarious thus far, but just enough to cover some of the higher transitional costs.
RATIONALE
With the recent shift from her Kuat based interests, Runi has started to once again invest and diversify her portfolio under the Stellarwind umbrella. While most of her assets sit on almost the opposite end of the galaxy, the flagging Horizon Repulsor Corporation presented a golden opportunity too good to pass up, allowing her to rapidly acquire an already existing infrastructure at a bargain rate.
