STELLAR SWELL
Manaan, a planet completely covered in water and the only known source of Kolto in the Galaxy. It has been at the center of historical events for hundreds of years and served as the focal point for politics, intrigue, and conflict. The Selkath have always been wary of outsiders, and recent history has only continued to reinforce that suspicion.

Objective I - Ahto City Rising - Senate and Diplomats

The city lies in ruins with rebuilding efforts having only just begun following the recent raid on the planet by the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. The Ahto High Court has reached out to the Alliance to request assistance in rebuilding the city once more. Though suspicious of outsiders, this presents an opportunity to convince the Selkath to bring Manaan into the Galactic Alliance as an official member world.

Dw3cUnZ.png

Objective II - The Order of Sasha - New Jedi Order

Established during the Jedi Civil War when a group of Force Sensitive Selkath were indoctrinated by the Sith to overthrow the Government; The Order of Sasha has continued to train Selkath in the use of the Force whilst struggling with their Dark Side roots. Following the Raid on Manaan, the Order of Sasha has proposed an exchange program with the New Jedi Order so that they might better learn the mysteries of the Force and impart some of their history upon the Jedi in return.

Objective III - Bacta Blues - GADF / SIA

Manaan is the only known location in the Galaxy in which Kolto is naturally occurring. Since the introduction of Bacta, Kolto has been used in increasingly rarer instances. However, it is still used as a backup when Bacta isn't available, supplies are limited, or an individual suffers from a rare Bacta allergy. The Ahto City Authority has agreed to house wounded soldiers and personnel from the recent Invasions of Sluis Van and Tython, as a sign of good faith, in the Ahto City Luxury Resorts so that they can rest and recuperate.

Objective IV - BYOO

Manaan, and by extension Ahto City, are large venues to explore and get lost in for those wishing to just wander on their own.

Objective II

"You know where I come from the only water came from taps. There was no natural water on Denon," he said to no one in particular.

The Jedi transport skimmed just above the ocean. Makko stepped back from the window. He found the concept of any entire water world absolutely fascinating.

"Actually that's a sort of true. Went deep down once. There were liquids. They'd have melted the flesh from your bones, so if there was any water in it I don't know what all the other chemicals would have done to your insides..."

There was a low thrum as the ship reversed thrust. Even with the inertia dampeners on, Makko felt the ship hit the water as it landed on the surface. It sent a wave of water ahead of it as it slowed down. The ship navigated across the surface towards the Sasha facility.

Master Iris Arani Iris Arani had brought up the opportunity for an exchange program on Manaan -- a place known for the Order of Shasa and their skill with Kolto healing. Zaiya's interest was piqued by the mention of it -- and because it gave her an excuse to be away from the Temple and not bump into Aris Noble Aris Noble . After everything came to a head and she had her dawning revelation, acting normal again was even harder. Not to mention, it had only fueled her ambition to train even more and harden her body to become better at being able to hold her own and perhaps even beat Aris on the mat.

Besides, learning how the Selkath's adapted the Force to sense deception and use Kolto was fascinating, especially since her skills with Sense had grown. She had spent hours reading up on Manaan's history, utterly captivated by the Order's unique techniques, and Domxite was perched on her shoulder, humming with an energetic eagerness that resonated through the Force and made her smile.

Absorbed in her datapad, she barely noticed Knight Vyres until he casually commented about water and his homeworld. His words snapped her out of her thoughts, and her skin shifted into a curious play of burnished amber and soft blue, a hint of citrine joining as her attention landed on him, intrigued.

"Wait, you're from Denon, Knight Vyres?" she asked, leaning in a little, her curiosity piqued. She'd read a bit about Denon's megacities, but hearing someone describe it firsthand was even better. "Were the liquids deep down natural, or some kind of pollution?"

Damian waited patiently at the counter, his eyes looking around for any recognizable faces, actually for anybody really. Finding his moment he stifled a yawn and quickly rubbed his eyes with his left hand. He had figured the hyper over to Manaan would provide enough sleep hours, of course Damian stole a few of those precious hours and converted them into work ones. Not a winning strategy if the young Du Couteau heir ever intended to catch up on his sleep, but for the moment it would suffice.
The Selkath receptionist had finally returned, bringing with them a rather impressive looking data-slate. With a nod in thanks, Damian accepted it and began to head back to where the dignitaries were supposed to meet with the rest of the delegation. His attention mostly remained in his newly acquired data-slate, the additional reports and public fillings of Kolto production and company revenues.
Bacta is quite the miraculous medicine of our era, and yet Kolto continues to thrive. Damian found it rather unsurprising, while neutral systems have the luxury of sitting out of the galactic conflicts of their neighbors, the robust trading lanes that the Alliance offers make Bacta quite a common commodity. However outside of those protected trade lanes, Bacta becomes harder to trade, so the Kolta trade can compete. He tapped his fingers along the slate and nodded to himself about another idea, Hm. . . can’t allow myself to waste time if I want my idea to succeed.

Objective III - Bacta Blues - GADF / SIA

“You can’t teach an old Aak Dog new tricks.”

Okay, that has been repeatedly proven wrong, but the point is that sometimes one can reach a point where they are not necessarily in need of further formal education. Truth is, he would have liked to have gone to participate in the exchanging of culture and learning with the Order of Sasha. He had done many of these group expeditions in the past, but something in his head told him not to do this. It was not that it was not a good situation, if it was, he would have informed Connel of this and let the Knight make his own decision (which he was already doing anyway).

No, in fact the big man felt that he might “take away” from the learning of others.

Caltin was all about the questions, and would probably hold up the proceedings, and take away the experience that other Jedi had the right to get the most out of. This was probably not going to happen of course, and the big man was aware of this, but it was better to just stay away and let them go on with their learning. Who knows, maybe one of them could teach him.

dc-injustice-2-mobile-black-adam-reveal-trailer-dc-izfr7cxbg_82bm.2560.png

“Master Jedi, are you here to help with healing?” The Selkath medic asked through a translator.

In a manner of speaking.

“I assure you that your services are not necessary, though truly appreciated.” An approaching doctor, not really happy to see him there, added. It wasn’t that he did not like the Jedi, but felt that there was no real need for him there. That is when Caltin had gestured toward some injured soldiers and sailors sitting in some kind of circle talking.

That is where I’m needed. Thanks. Unless you don’t want me to go? It may have sounded a bit condescending, but Vanagor didn’t mean it as such, he was here to find where he was needed, he did. He did leave the decision up to the doctor though, who gestured for him to go ahead.

Walking over, and pulling up a chair, he was met with “looks”.

“Jedi?” An Artillery officer.

“Master Jedi? What are you doing here?” An incapacitated fighter pilot.

“Are you supposed to be here?” A sailor, with burns over most of his body.

Considering I probably would not be here if not for most of you… I think I should be.

“Thanks”, an infantryman added. “We’re just soldiers… it’s our jobs… we don’t matter otherwise.’

While he knew that was not the consensus, it irritated the big man to think someone would believe it.

Not to me, and I promise you, not to any other Jedi. You matter.

The mood from that point on, started to change as they went back to swapping stories.

SIA SPECDIV
AGENT ESKOL

"RABBIT"

"Whats the name this time? Hopefully something at least somewhat humorous. Tired of the edgy, dark names. Better Star Destroyer names than the codenames you've been giving me."

"Why do you care so much, if it's just temporary?"

"You're not the one who could die under the name, darling."
Rabbit stared at the Selkath that he had hanging by his feet, in the dingy warehouse, with most of the lights turned off- though Rabbit didn't have a problem seeing. The floor and walls were pure-white, plastoid if he had to guess.

The ceiling beams were exposed steel, a construction of a building suited to be rebuilt or cared for easily, thanks to the amount of water in the air. Rabbit paced around the room, having intermittently come into the room over the past few days, to give the Selkath some much-needed water, or a small bite to eat. He hadn't said a word, despite the Selkath's protests, screams.

He'd cut him, beat him, without provocation, without warning, and without explanation.

For good reason, at least. The Selkath in question was a Kolto supplier, one of many who facilitated the trade of the goods. Unfortunately for him, Rabbit had discovered that the Selkath in question was supplying unsavory people, Empires, and the Sith with the much-valued medical supply- which wasn't illegal or even frowned upon here on Manaan.

For now.

Finally, Rabbit crouched in front of him, and turned on a universal translator embedded in his ear.

"My name is Rabbit."

The Selkath began to scream, finally getting at least four words out of the agent. Rabbit didn't move while he screamed, staring him down.

"No reason to be that way."

Rabbit stood up, reaching into his pocket, pulling out a candy bar, unpeeling the wrapper. The Selkath hadn't eaten properly the entire time he'd been here, Rabbit keeping him on a steady diet of 'barely anything'. He leered at Rabbit's eerie, glowing eyes.

"You and I are gonna get along after this, I promise you that. But we gotta talk first..."

In the darkness of the warehouse, Rabbit's teeth shined a sinister, wolfish grin.

Vera leaned back, grinning as she adjusted her training robes and eyed her brother, Aris, with a playful glint. "So… the Order of Sasha wants to teach us their ways and learn about ours," she said with an excited little grin. "But I can't help wondering — do you think they'd count a good spar as imparting wisdom? I mean, we could totally show them what got that way, right?"

She nudged Aris, her excitement barely contained. "Kidding, mostly," she added with a laugh, though the spark in her eye said otherwise. "But think about it. They've got this history with the Dark Side and the whole Force training thing — if they're willing to go hands-on, we might learn a lot." As long as it didn't involve actually using the Dark Side, she was open to learning just about anything that could help her. "Besides, nothing brings people together like a good spar."

She was still part Epicanthix, after all.

She paused, looking out the viewport as the vast oceans of Manaan came into view, her mind running with curiosity about the Force-sensitive Selkath. "You think they'll be game for it? Or should we keep the lightsabers tucked away… for now?"

Queen Kha'la Daaray stepped onto the landing platform, her poised figure cloaked in the elegance Hapes was known for. The scene around her was somber yet brimming with the energy of reconstruction—partially rebuilt structures framed the horizon, workers and engineers diligently repairing the heart of Ahto City after the recent raid.

Kha'la's gaze swept over the city, her mind fixed on the discussions that would soon unfold. Manaan's alliance with the Galactic Alliance was a delicate matter, one that required both diplomacy and respect for the Selkath's cautious nature. She knew that Chancellor Alicio Organa Alicio Organa was expected soon, and she felt a surge of anticipation to meet the man representing the Alliance's direction forward.

But not only him — she was also curious to meet the new senator who had been chosen to represent Alderaan as his replacement.

As she waited, the hum of repair droids and the murmur of Selkath officials filled the air, a vivid reminder of the work still ahead. Kha'la hoped her presence alongside the Chancellor and other senators would underscore the Alliance's commitment to helping Manaan rebuild and, ideally, foster trust. The chance to bring Manaan into the Alliance as an official member was too significant to overlook; it represented not only a strategic alliance but a symbol of resilience and unity in troubled times.

As the transport shudders into realspace, Nulgath feels the subtle vibration that accompanies the shift from hyperspace. Through the small viewport, the silver orb of Manaan materializes, its tranquil oceans gleaming like liquid mercury against the deep backdrop of space. Flanking him are four masked Jedi Sentinels, clad in muted robes and armor, their faces hidden, yet their silent presence unmistakably vigilant. Each of them, a constant reminder of his enemies discipline and focus, it heightened the sense of unwelcome formality that Nulgath had come to resent.

The Order of Sasha has granted him access to a portion of their Sith manuscripts, ancient texts steeped in the Dark Side, promising that his understanding will add depth to both their histories. And by "him" what is really meant is the Jedi Order for which he is a captive to. For Nulgath, however, His task is menial—a scholarly exercise more suited to a translation droid than to a being of his own intellect and refinement. But the Jedi Council had other plans, deeming his presence "essential" for fostering diplomacy with the Selkath Force Order and the greater New Jedi Order, though they never deigned to explain why him specifically.

As the transport begins its descent, Nulgath turned inward, probing the bitterness simmering beneath his calm exterior. "If the intent was to further Jedi understanding, why not dispatch a mere protocol droid? Or the Zambrano spawn. Kahlil." He questioned aloud and it remained unanswered but ever-present. " I cannot be the only being that understands Ur-Kittat." Then he considered the Sith texts that await him on Manaan. He suspected the Order of Sasha was seeking something beyond mere words. To them, his interpretation is not merely academic; it is a tether to the Dark Side from which their teachings stem, an anchor to their tainted past. They seek a deeper understanding...how admirable. The transport pierced through layers of Manaan's cloud cover, and the glistening city of Ahto rises on the horizon, its silvery spires seemingly adrift atop the endless ocean.

His gaze shifts to the Sentinels, they had not moved a muscle or said a word. Here and like them, Nulgath was as much an emissary as he is an observer—subject to the Jedi Council's scrutiny and the Order of Sasha's unspoken expectations. In other words he was to be on his behavior.

For his sake..

"Wait, you're from Denon, Knight Vyres?" she asked, leaning in a little, her curiosity piqued. She'd read a bit about Denon's megacities, but hearing someone describe it firsthand was even better. "Were the liquids deep down natural, or some kind of pollution?"

"I'm going to have to get you trained like Mahsa," Makko laughed.

He fiddled with the collar of his robe. He went into battle in black adaptive camouflage and avoided diplomatic events like the plague. He wasn't accustomed to wearing his formal robes.

"Makko is absolutely fine Zaiya."

If anyone spoke disrespectfully to him, he would almost certainly deal with the matter directly. He was uncomfortable with using titles. Thinking of his armour reminded him of a secret he had been holding onto.

"But you still haven't said thank you for the trandoshan incident on the starliner..."

He returned to looking out the window. The Jedi cruiser was floating across the water using minimal engine thrust to approach the docks. He wasn't really that interested in the view; he didn't have a good enough sabacc face to hide his grin.

As their ship finally landed at Ahto city on Manaan, Sylvia Organa took a moment to glance out the window, and her heart sank for the people there to see how much destruction had yet to be cleared. For the past few days, practically since the moment she was elected, she had been working day and night on a bill she had tentatively begun to call The Restoration and Displaced Persons Act. Her hope in this endeavor would be for the exact purpose for which they had made this journey to Manaan in the first place; to provide a larger pool of funding and man power into programs that would be devoted solely to the assistance efforts for war torn planets and displaced refugees who had been victims of it. Even now, from where she sat, she held a relativly medium-sized datapad in her hands, tirelessly typing away some refinements and commenting on notes that the team she had put together to help her with this had made

"I do hope we can do some good here, Alicio. These people deserve more than to suffer in the aftermath of conflict," she said softly, though a smile was ever present. Her eyes that resembled that of the icy blue caverns of Illum looked up from her work to catch the gaze of the Chancellor, her cousin. Part of her still felt guilty for having remained out of his life for longer than she probably needed to (though the multiple attempts on her life had been part of the reason she had done so to begin with), but he had been so warm and welcoming when she'd asked to meet with him the first time, treating her as if there had never been a distance at all. Despite the somber air, she couldn't have been happier to accompany him on these diplomatic negotiations, and she remained ever optimistic. It was her nature that the deep empathy she had for others would be instinctively used to fuel her call to action.

With gace, she finally stood and headed down the ramp. Her long hair, a beautiful shade choclate brown, was left mostly down with a couple of small and intracte braided buns at the top, and she was dressed in a dark blue dress with shimmering golden accents that was as elegantly regal as it was practical. She smiled warmly to those who stood there already, giving them a respectful short bow when she approached. She did not yet know their names, but she would be sure to do her best to learn.

"I'm so glad you all had safe flights," She started warmly, her presence alone radiating a kindness and calming energy that could begin to melt some of the cruelest hearts, "I'm Lady Sylvia Organa of Alderaan, what a pleasure it is to meet with you here."

Azurine couldn't figure out how in hell Aris and Vera had managed to convince her to do this. She had been highly interested in the idea of working with the order of Sasha, a group she'd never even heard of before now, at first. Until the moment she had heard that she would have to go to Manaan for it and nearly all of her curiosity was overtaken by her intense fear. In fact, she had been quaking where she stood at the thought.

She'd been to Manaan, very specifically Ahto, once before during her time in the rebellion, and she knew immediately the planet was covered only in vast waters. She had been terrified of it even then, almost refusing to leave the ship and having to be practically carried out by her teams Quarren member who assured her that he'd make sure she didn't hit the water. Her plan had been to avoid this little trip at all costs, yet, here she was.

She was practically stiff as a board where she sat, desperately trying to calm her own shaking and breath as best as she could.

Damn Nobles ... It'll be fun, they said. You've got to conquer your fear, they said. What a crock of bantha fodder.

Keeping her gaze locked to the ground so she wouldn't have to look at any of the view ports, she hardly even heard the words the others were saying above the sound of her own heart beating rapidly in hear ears. The only thing she picked up on was Makko Vyres Makko Vyres 's discussion of the lack of water on his planet. Iridonia didn't have any large boddies of water either, and the first time she had ever laid eyes on one she was immediately terrified by them.

"Neither does Iridonia," she attempted to say, voice soft. Too bad she couldn't find the voice to be any louder, or even respond to Vera.

The moment the transport made a lurch that felt too off kilter for her, her breath caught in her throat, and she immediately grabbed onto Aris's arm with both hands, eyes wide with the fight she waged against her instinctive desire to get away from this place as soon as she possibly could. She absolutely hated looking this weak in front of people she barely knew (even with those she did, really) but Aris promised her that she could stick to him in his and Vera's argument to convince her to come along, and all she could do was pray that he knew how to swim just in case.

Lysander had arrived in Ahto City with several Jedi Knights earlier in the day. They seemed to move with purpose, discussing their mission while he always trailed close behind, absorbing any wisdom he could like a sponge. Yet, as the hours went by, a strong sense of independence began taking over.

Before much longer, he was wandering alone.

The padawan boy moved with elegance beyond his age, his white cloak trailing behind him like a cloud. Polished boots clicked confidently against the ground. His eyes, pure with innocence and curiosity alike, drank in every detail of his surroundings.

As he stopped before the entrance of the Ahto City Luxury Resorts he tried to allow the comforting embrace of the Force to envelope him. Everything else faded away in the stillness then. It was in these very quiet moments of solitude that Lysander tried to better understand the essence of who he truly was, and what role he might possibly play in the galaxy one day.

While he was still learning more about the Force, it did seem to be assuring him he was exactly where he needed to be.

He was well aware of the battles at both Sluis Van and Tython. He wished he could have been of more assistance, as his heart longed to be of aid, to make a difference, rather than waiting for word back on Coruscant. This seemed like a place that could widen his perspective on recent events.

Strolling through the lobby while clutching his datapad across his chest, it was clear how much he cherished it. It traveled everywhere with him. Whether to read or take notes, the device seemed to always be within his reach. And while he hadn’t necessarily asked for permission to enter this place, he walked in as though his presence was welcomed nonetheless.

As he wandered deeper, he saw a giant man looming near a group of wounded soldiers. His presence was rather intimidating, as each arm appeared to have more muscle than Lysander’s entire frame. He overheard one of the doctors refer to the man as a Jedi and instantly felt a magnetic pull. What further surprised him, was his calm demeanor while offering them reassurance. For a few seconds longer he tried to just observe the conversation, before finally approaching.

“Did you fight at Sluis Van or Tython?” His voice was steady and carried a hint of awe. There was a pause as he scanned over the Jedi’s broad shoulders before looking back up. “You look like you could take on an entire battalion all by yourself.”

"There's no better way to know someone than when you cross blades with them."

Aris nodded his head in agreement with Vera. They were both as Epicanthix as they could be, after all. Asides, it'd be a good distraction from his thoughts, right? Being with Vera, fighting alongside her so he wasn't thinking on Zaiya and how much of an actual idiot he was. "We probably should bring it up in conversation before drawing a blade, but I think they'd be up for it. Especially if we did a little heckling."

He flashed just a brief grin, but it was interrupted as he felt Azurine lurched to his arm. Aris blinked before a soft smile formed. She really was terrified of water, wasn't she? Explained why she never went out to the lake back home. "I'm a good swimmer, don't worry. We'll be fine."

Hopefully that would help calm her down.

When there were investments to be made and populations to trap in ever-expanding debt, the InterGalactic Banking Clan (IGBC) was never far beyond. The present profitability of Manaan has come under scrutiny, particularly following the devastation wrought by the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, who sought to demonstrate their significance as a threat to the galaxy.
This warning was somewhat underestimated by the Alliance, as many members of the Federal Assembly prioritized the ongoing conflict with the Dark Empire and the Sith Order. This perspective was not shared by the Trade Lobby, which had previously experienced market declines when the Enclave advocated for an aggressive campaign against the Alliance, a campaign that ultimately proved ineffective.
Despite the issuance of warnings, they were disregarded for reasons that seemed justifiable at the time. As the Banking Clan Shuttle broke through the atmosphere of the Planet towards the surface there was a noticeable smile on the Deputy Director's features, as he had arranged to meet with a Selkath Businessman for information on the kolto supplies still remaining beneath the surface of the dense waves.

"Mr. Hallisk, I am pleased to see that you have arrived punctually," Director Shellos, a local merchant dressed in yellow and red hues said as he approached the Muun on the landing platform.
"The proceedings between the Alliance and the Ahto High Court, are about to start at any moment." He explained in a hushed tone, almost a whisper, to avoid drawing the attention of others nearby on the landing platform.
"An excellent opportunity for the Merchant Lords of the galaxy to intervene. We can't allow the High Court to side with the Alliance without considering the financial implications and the contributions expected out of such a prestige culture with access to uh...invaluable resources." Odett replied with a few hand-gestures, knowing that his presence here would cause some headaches to the rather sensitive mission the Alliance was undertaking at such a critical juncture.

Damian split his focus between reading the reports on the data-slate and peering in front of him as he looked around the waiting area near the landing bay. The reconstruction process had brought unintended consequences, but what’s more interesting are the Kolto farming numbers. Transport ships began to land, but Damian continued to read, only waiting for the snapp-hiss of ramps being lowered before looking up from his data-slate. The first to exit was the Hapan Queen, the Matriarch herself, not someone that Damian ever interacted with. Not even my father’s notes talked about the great many nobles outside of Alliance space when he was in office.

Though I guess it just shows that the Alliance has indeed become the government of a thousand systems once again.
It was to be expected, Damian already had a difficult time remembering the names of his new Infrastructure staff. He returned back to his data-slate, while he had trouble with names and faces, numbers and charts were his specialty. Hm, I might need to have someone back in the office double check these findings once I get back to Fondor. Another ship landed and this time even after the snap-hiss the young Du Coutea heir found himself deeply engrossed in some troublesome spreadsheets.

Damian’s attention was snapped back to reality when a voice began to introduce herself to the small gathering of the Alliance delegation. He looked up and saw the new Senator of Alderaan, while he kept a rather neutral expression, Damian thought it was quite surprising that the Chancellor wouldn’t simply continue being the Alderaan Senator. Placing his data-slate down, he took a step forward to the new Senator of Alderaan.

“Senator Damian Du Couteau of Empress Teta. An honor to meet you.” he introduced himself with a quick bow and a hand gesture. With a simple nod afterwards, he walked back to his original spot and returned to his data-slate. It seems the Chancellor should be arriving soon, best I finish these last few reports. The last thing he wanted to do was to ask an easy question where the answer was already given in these reports.

The chance to interact and learn from the ways of another Force Sensitive fighter group, that was an opportunity that Lily could not help but be thrilled by. Lily loved to learn new and varied combat styles, as well as insight on how they connected and used the Force. Perhaps there would be opportunities for Lily to garner new abilities in the Force or give her a better understanding of how one can connect with the Force. She knew she needed to get stronger with the number of her enemies increasing and she was far from strong enough to handle them.

Drinking a particular strong brew of caf, Lily was attempting to stave off the tiredness she had from a rough night of sleeping, another night of nightmares that she had no ideas about. She walked over to the meeting point for many of the Jedi who were coming here to interact and exchange knowledge with the Order. Lily was intrigued to see who else would arrive for a meeting like this, there was plenty one could learn and she was keen to find someone she could work with.

Spotting Zaiya, the bright, colourful girl was interacting with Makko Vyres Makko Vyres and Lily moved over to the pair of them. "Greetings Zaiya, hope you are well. Greetings Knight Vyres, hope you are doing well too." Nodding her head to them both, smiling politely. Her hands shifted behind her and she looked around, "this opportunity sounds really exciting chance to learn all kinds of new things and even some varied combat styles." Lily mentioned with a hint of barely contained excitement for that particular opportunity.

Objective III - Bacta Blues - GADF / SIA

Caltin had sensed the group of Knights, mainly healers and seers coming in and spreading out. Mostly they were among the Bacta tanks and the more "immovable” among those who had sacrificed themselves for the good of others. One or two others were out among the groups, one of them, a young Padawan, was figuring out how to approach the one he was sitting in.

In the midst of a story about what happened during the invasion of the dome city, was when he finally sat with them. He was young, looked to have a sense of “royalty” to him, a regal way he carried himself. That did not say much nowadays as there were many who were the same, but there was a curiosity to him as well.

The question was one to be expected.

dc-injustice-2-mobile-black-adam-reveal-trailer-dc-izfr7cxbg_82bm.2560.png

Well, Padawan, these “Devil Dogs” over to my right, they held the line while the injured were extracted in the domed city of Echnos. Those hard-nosed shipmen and shipwomen over there across from us; they were a part of the group that attacked shipyards over Sullust, and then helped enable Jedi to take the portal over Tython. The ground pounders to their right, they were on the ground on Tython, doing their darndest to gain ground and enable the lucky Jedi to be counted among them to try to retake Akar Kesh. Lastly, those “Devil Pilots” to our left, they were flying over Tython’s moon of Bogan, they were sacrificing their own safety so that those in the Alliance could get a clear shot.

His words, his tone, his facial features were all signs of the utmost respect to him. He told them that they mattered, and while many of them had accepted it, they did not necessarily buy it, until then. Those words began to resonate.

I was busy providing a distraction for other Jedi to complete their mission, but several of these men enabled me to keep going. I would not be here without them.

The comment that the boy made was funny, it brought uncharacteristic laughter from him. Perhaps in my younger days.

Vera's grin grew even wider, feeding off her brother's excitement. "Exactly," she said, giving Aris an enthusiastic nudge. "Though fine, maybe we ask first," she added with a teasing wink, leaning into the thrill of a potential spar with the Selkath. But her focus shifted quickly when she noticed Azurine's grip tightening on Aris's arm, her fear of water palpable.

With a softer tone and a comforting smile, Vera moved closer, her usual playfulness tempered with genuine care. "Azurine," she began gently, "We'll stay close the whole time, alright? This is all just for experience, but if you feel overwhelmed, we'll handle it together. Manaan may be surrounded by water, but we're not here for that — we're here as a team."

She glanced back at the viewport, where the endless ocean stretched out like an unbroken horizon. It wasn't lost on her how intimidating it could be, especially for someone with Azurine's past experiences. "Plus," Vera added, flashing a reassuring grin to her Mom's new Padawan, "You've got the best backup in the galaxy. And who knows? By the time we leave, you might even start to like this place — at least a little."

Probably a stretch but she was trying to keep the Zabrak calm.

"And if things get really dicey," she said, giving her brother a mock-serious glance, "We'll just use him as a distraction and make a run for it."

Or a swim, she supposed.

OBJECTIVE TWO - The Order of Sasha - New Jedi Order
Intent - Learn from the Order their technique to sense deception with the Force - Learn new combat styles!!!!

Interacting with: Makko Vyres Makko Vyres Lily Decoria Lily Decoria

Zaiya's cheeks burned a soft coral as her skin glimmered with an embarrassed, iridescent sheen. She felt a little sheepish about her question to Makko -- she'd only wanted to be polite.

"Sorry… Makko. I'm just trying to be respectful," she explained, though it still didn't make sense why so many Knights insisted on being called by their first name. Wasn't the title something they'd earned through all that rigorous training? And what if another Master or Knight overheard her skipping his title?

"At least… in public, may I address you formally?" she offered sheepishly, trying to find a middle ground. It was the same with her own Master, Iris Arani Iris Arani , who always insisted Zaiya could skip her title too. Still, in official settings, Zaiya felt it only right to use 'Knight.'

But then, Makko Vyres Makko Vyres 's mention of an incident with a Trandoshan on a starliner suddenly sparked her memory. She scrunched her brows, thinking back. The only incident she remembered was…

Wait.

"Wait… was that you!?" Zaiya gasped, stepping closer to Makko and bringing her free hand to her mouth as she pieced it together. Her mind was reeling, a stunned grin spreading across her face. But then, out of nowhere, she felt it -- an all too familiar warmth along her senses, brushing up her spine in a way that sent a fresh flush of coral over her cheeks.

She couldn't stop herself from looking in the direction of Vera Noble Vera Noble 's laugh, and there he was. Aris. Wait, he wasn't supposed to be here!

Yet the silvery glint of his hair was unmistakable as tall as he was, even with him sitting. But her heart sank as her eyes traced past him to catch the sudden way that a very familiar Iridonian young woman reached out to clutch at Aris Noble Aris Noble 's arm with both hands.

Zaiya's breath hitched, and she quickly looked away, her colors dimming to pale hues edged with silvery bioluminescence and a dark watercolor of emerald green as she gripped her datapad tighter, immediately snapping her mental shields into place. Her mind was bombarded by a torrent of what ifs, and jealousy sparked irrational assumptions on why Aris was smiling at Azurine Varek Azurine Varek , what he was saying in a low murmur with his head so close to Azurine, why the Nobles were together with Azurine.

Bet he doesn't think Azurine's breath stinks when she is that close, Zaiya thought, the irrational edge of the speculation barely dampening the embarrassment washing over her.

Thankfully, Echani Padawan Lily Decoria Lily Decoria 's voice broke into the Lovalla's spiraling thoughts, giving Zaiya a much needed distraction. Zaiya forced herself to focus, flashing a polite smile despite the frazzled dart of kaleidoscopic hues and glowing effects dancing over her skin.

"Well met, Lily. I hope you're doing well… and yes, new combat styles. I am very, very interested myself," she replied, genuinely sounding enthusiastic as a jealous fire seemed to fuel her with purpose, even if her mind was still half-caught on the scene she'd just witnessed.

Never mind that her original interest had been in the healing properties of Bacta and how to identify deception through the Force. Right now, the idea of getting a little stronger and learning a little more combat styles seemed far more appealing.

"What combat styles does the Order of Sasha teach? Can they match or even outpace the styles of Epicanthix or Iridonian origin?"

Yes, it was a little on the nose, and she knew it. But her jealousy couldn't help but simmer, keeping her mind in a loop of nagging, irrational questions she didn't quite know how to quiet.
