Staycation.

"Being Sith doesn't mean you can't have attachments. That's a Jedi thing. Sith have a freedom so few do. If your master has any competence, that would be the only lesson he would not teach you." Freedom to be. To love. To hate. To choose. Of course, it took Krest decades to learn that, but it's what made him who he was today. Soon enough though, the pair made it, and as he stepped out of the car to see the smaller cabin. He could't help but smile at it, and when he stepped in he couldn't be more pleased.

There was no wasted space. No excessive size. It was cozy. You didn't have to walk half a mile to reach one specific room, it was all right there. He never did like those large castles or mansions many of the worlds elite would prefer. Size showed status, but it never really showed smarts or efficiency. "You seem to expect me to not like these sort of places. You have much to learn."

Kay nodded a little. She didn't avoid attachments out of that respect. Her reasons were personal ones. She already lost a husband and she wasn't about to let that happen all over again. So it was better to stay away from all of that. Besides, she just doesn't have the time.

She went to the bedroom and unpacked her bag, putting the clothing into the dresser. Where was [member="Krest"] going to sleep? The couch no less. Kay smirked at his comment about her having being unsuccessful so far in showing him that he probably would have had more fun on the cruise. Well he was here. Might as well make the best of it.

Kay stepped into the kitchen, grabbed the kettle and began filling it with water. "Care for some tea?" A bookshelf filled with various holo-novels stood against a wall. A fireplace was also in the living space, as well as a rocking chair. It was of course, your typical little cabin.

"Tea would be welcome. Do you have honey?" Krest answered as he moved his way inside. He glanced around the smaller cabin, and instantly had the same thought [member="Lady Kay"] had. Time to sleep on the couch, though he'd probably move to the floor. Sleeping on hard surfaces made softer places uncomfortable after a time. Of course, this wasn't his main focus. The red man went right up to the bookshelf, eagerly sating his curiosity on Kay's interest in literature.

To his surprise, mystery.

He stifled a chuckle before turning back to the rest of the cabin. Well, he might as well get comfortable. He plopped down onto the couch and a small compartment in his mechanical wrist popped open. Within, small tools. With his left hand he pulled out a small screwdriver, and with the force a small wrench. And then, he simply went about dismantling near where the cybernetics met flesh. Soon enough, the Zabrak had his arm off, floating in front of him while he went about making sure the systems and wiring within worked. He would zone out into his work for some time, or at least until Kay brought the tea.

"Ummm...." Sounds of Kay rummaging through the cabinets could be heard. "..Yes, I do." She didn't put honey in her teas. Maybe it's because she was sweet already (ha!). But sometimes it was useful for cooking.

She prepared the tea leaves, crumbling them into the mugs while she waited for water to come to a boil. That didn't take long, however and soon Kay entered the living room with a tray in hand. Though seeing what [member="Krest"] was up to gave her pause. It was not a normal sight to see. She awkwardly set the tray down, her eyes on the floating arm. "Was it broken? Or?..."

"Hopefully not, but it's always good to try and keep it maintained. This ways easier." He cast a glance over her way before turning his gaze back to the arm. Once again he set about maintaining the machine. "The cabins nice though. Good books." Small talk, something easy for the Zabrak to keep up with as he worked on the limb. [member="Lady Kay"] would find him more or less only focusing on the limb. Not the best company.

Kay sat down in the rocking chair after picking up her tea. Her eyes were all on what [member="Krest"] was doing. "What happened that got you to lose it? Some heroic battle?" That was far better than saying that he lost it during a speederbike accident or something. His comment on her books got her to look at them briefly, before turning her attention back to him and floating mechanical arm.
