Starship speed/maneuverability across Factory versions

In fleeting, it is very common to have loadouts with ships of different sizes, and, as additional ships are approved under 4.0 rules, future fleeting engagements will likely involve older ships and ships submitted under 4.0. That said, I have a few questions regarding comparisons in terms of speed/maneuverability between different ship sizes.

For example: how would a "very slow" corvette stack up to a "fast" frigate in terms of speed/maneuverability?

Also, how would the old versions of speed/maneuverability (the 2.0 version being out of 10, and going to the 3.0 version, which is out of 20, often made people double the 2.0 ratings if they used the 3.0 ratings as a frame of reference) translate to a 4.0 qualitative rating?

This is pretty easy.

Generally speaking in the past there were certain things for certain classes that were already there. For instance 1 for an Interceptor was probably about average, anything below was fast and anything below 0.5 was astoundingly fast.

This is now just transferred into a word rather than a number.

Basically, just use your best judgement. In the end numbers never really mattered that much anyway because it all comes down to RP rather than the hard number stated anyway.

I know it would lead to pretty hilarious judgment failures (perhaps even drama-inducing if they occur in a fleeting context) without clear guidelines, and also make it very confusing to new players, as to:
  1. The overlap zones between ship size classes (in terms of speed/maneuveravbility)
  2. How do speed ratings from older rulesets translate to the 4.0 ones
