Stars over Keldabe

There were many places to go gambling and have a drink, currently she was in some little cantina off the beaten path in Keldabe City. Arla needed some down time she had been on a leave of sorts to get things together. She had stepped into a role she felt unprepared for it was taking its toll on her. There were some new members and the funds from MandalTech were being used to fortify, and support the hospital.

Her buir wanted to build more clinics, and likely she would. Arla she had pretty much everything she wanted. She had her house and that was a prize that she was most proud of.

She nodded again to the server to bring her a refill, she placed the credits on the table and bought her way into a hand. Five pairs of eyes looked up and studied her as she sat down.

Her buy’ce hung now on her hip, blaster within reach. She had considered coming out in civies but wagered against it. There had been more than a few disintegrations this week and she preferred not to be another.

This particular cantina had a small reputation for some bad elements, this did not bother Arla she figured if there were bad ilk, she’d just make them see the error of their ways.

She tossed the opening ante into the pool.

“Last call” the dealer called out, anyone else wanting in would need to sit down now.

"Just tell me if those girls request anything," The fully armored Adenn Gra'tua spoke with his Mandalorian brother, Teroch Gra'tua through his helmets internal comms as he strode through Keldabe City "I'll be here for a few hours, so just notify me if they decide that they want something from the city." "Got it, have fun in there, Adenn." Came Teroch's voice, sounding quite tired thanks to a few days of no sleep, curtsey of a certain mercenary unit overworking the osik out of the poor man. "I will, as always." With a movment of the bounty hunters' eyes, the two brothers' conversation ended, and a short chuckle escaped the bounty hunters' lips, as he had briefly heard the two girls he'd referred to earlier shouting at each other in the background.

Gaila'Rae and Annika, they had said their names were as they were dropped off by some relatives of clan Gra'tua, with those relatives saying that they'd just appeared on their cargo ship after making a supply run on some planets, and there was no chance of returning the girls to their parents, as no one knew what planet they had gotten on at.

After getting out of his own head, Adenn spotted a small looking cantina off to his left, and after observing for a moment, it also didn't seem too noisy, so the bounty hunter decided to stop for a drink or two. Entering the cantina with his chin held high, the mandalorian had an extremely cheery air around him, which was slightly odd for the 30 year old, as he normally acted quite serious.

"Last call" The bounty hunter heard from a table to the side of the cantina, where he spotted fellow Rally Master, [member="Arla Balor"], the sight of whom made Adenn rush over towards the table. Removing his helmet and grabbing enough credits to enter the match, the man sat down and placed his creds in the center of the table, nodding in the general direction of the dealer, while his eyes wandered over to the female Rally Master across from him.

Arla's gaze picked up from the cards and then over to someone she had not seen in quite some time, she couldn't help but to smile. She nodded her greeting to [member="Adenn Gra'tua"] how long?

Eh she couldn't think about that right now she was doing her best to relax and sometimes memory recall only did one thing, gave her a headache.

"Visiting long ner vod?" She asked as she tossed a credit, and motioned for a drink for Adenn, least she could do for ner vod. Mandalorians roamed a lot those that had stayed on Mandalore stayed mostly because they had young families or held positions that required they stay. So, why was Arla here, oh yeah...Clan Ordo representation on the Council. [member="Ordo"] had pat her on the head wished her luck and went off with Rianna to raise their children and farm till the next war.

There was war coming, just the other day she voted to assist Alderaan. Funny to think Clan Ordo having ties to Alderaan of all places. But there is was, and well family was family no matter how far.

She noticed though that Adenn seemed carefree must be nice.

A smirk crept onto Adenn's lips when he heard Arla speak, as the bounty hunter had quickly convinced himself that the woman had remembered him from one of their -brief- meetings just from that line. Truthfully, Adenn did not know who Arla was beyond a few simple facts, that most other mandalorians probably knew, though he had had the chance to fight in the same battle as she had... Once... And most likely in different areas.

Shab, now the woman's question was taking on a whole other meaning, as it now meant that Adenn had never stuck around with the people he should have, Calico, Gilamar, Arrbi, Larraq, and pretty much every other notable Mandalorian that the bounty hunter met in the past, but before he let the question hang for too long, Adenn tried to reply casually. "Yeah, I'll be sticking around for some time, both to get away from my family for a bit, and because there's some stuff I need to pick up from the city. I'm glad that I came in here though, as I wouldn't have had the chance to meet you again if I wasn't up for some alcohol at this time." The man's smirk started turning into a smile, but he quickly rubbed his mouth with his left hand, allowing him a moment to stifle it before it seemed like he was attempting to flirt -not that the bounty hunter wanted to try though- because with how little Adenn knew Arla, it would have been way to weird for the man to actually try.

She looked over at A'denn what an odd look he had on his face he looked like she had just asked him to come home with her and he didn't know what to say. The thought made her laugh some. But then he must have decided it was safe, or what he wanted to say.

"Alcohol is a good reason to in a good drink that soothes the throat and burns all the way down" she lifted her glass to him, "I'm glad you're staying around for while, we can catch up, play cards, and have a drink" Arla had come in a while ago, home was quiet with no one there but herself. She came into the cantina to hear other voices other than her own, and it worked well for her.

To have someone come in that she had an acquaintance with, all the better.

"So how is your family?" She didn't know before so it seemed like a good question to ask while he figured out if he wanted to play cards.

"Everyone's doing good." Adenn responded, just as a waitress approached him to place his drink on the edge of the table, a Correlian Ale, by the looks of it. "I've been bringing my sister with me on some of my hunts -at her request- and I've been teaching her some of the in's and out's of bounty hunting. So far she's been doing pretty good, and luckily the bounty board has been full of easier bounties, so neither of us are in much danger." Adenn started smiling as he thought of how much better he had made his sisters' life, though, he had no doubt that she was still not in the best mental state from what had happened with their parents, especially since Adenn had never been the most sane person after his mother was murdered, and what he did to his father should be proof of that.

Looking down to his drink, Adenn finally attached his helmet to his belt, freeing his hands, and allowing the man to finally play cards with Arla and the patrons of the cantina. "Teroch -my brother- has also doing good, his mercenary unit has been overworking him for the past week, so he was sleeping most of the day while I've been taking care of things." Adenn wasn't too sure if Teroch and Arla had ever met before, or if she had even heard of the man, but his brother had been a Mandalorian for longer than he had, so it may have been likely that one of the two had seen/heard of/talked to the other at one point.

"Good to hear everyone is well" She smiled it was nice to hear positive things sometimes she thought the only thing left in the galaxy was the misery brought by others. "If you sister likes to hunt she is welcome to come and hunt with me. I try to get at least one shatual every month." Yes Arla enjoyed hunting the tracking, the patience, the reward yes she had grown to really enjoy hunting and would gladly share with anyone.

Arla had only heard of Teroch, "I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting your brother, but if he's working, good." She nodded, "Don't know if you heard but we took Roche from the Republic a couple weeks back, and we currently have a fleet at Alderaan. Not sure when we are going after that."

Arla put her wager, and picked up her cards, "might be some opportunity out there, if your family is interested." Arla's clan had family ties to Alderaan, so..she figured there'd be something for Clan Ordo at the end of it all...maybe...

Adenn brought both of his shoulders up in a small shrug, tilting his head at the same time. "I'll tell her you offered, it should let her experience a different kind of hunt." Currently, both Adenn and his sister had gone on about seventeen bounties, each one had went very well, and luckily, neither of them needed to kill anyone during all of the bounties.

Picking up his cards, the bounty hunters previously smirking face turned expressionless, his cards were decent, nothing that would guarantee his victory, but with a strong dislike for bluffing (unless if it was towards force users), Adenn would not be able to trick anybody into folding.

"That is, if they decide to let me handle Gra'tua Arms & Armor alone, since I've actually gotten the company more commonly known again, something the previous owner failed to do. Maybe I'll suggest an idea, for them start up some new company on Roche." The bounty hunter shrugged again, grabbing his drink in an attempt to subtly observe the expressions of the other players.

Arla had conveniently switched from bounty hunting to shatual hunting both required skills of stealth and patience, as well as a clean shot depending on the contract. She nodded thought to Adenn. Arla had tried bounty hunting for a while, she preferred the live capture rather than dead. It just didn't set well with her without knowing that the target was actually deserving of death, no matter what the cost.

But that didn't mean she didn't let the vod do what they needed to after all family, clan they needed support and credits and when needed they did what they had to.

"Well maybe if you go out there and drum up some business they'd let you handle the family business. My buir lets me do little things for him, so that I learn and stay out of trouble." She smiled then tossing a card away, putting in her bid and wait for her new card.

"If you want I'll travel with you to Roche, we can look around together. We can be all business like and make a few meetings" She laughed.

"The weapons you make do you stick to one type, like hand guns, or rifles, or something else?" She was trying to keep his attention even as he looked around casually, would he figure out her hand. Maybe.
