Stargo Defense Enterprises, in its quest to provide quality goods and services to the Galaxy, sought to expand its ventures into new territory. As a whole, its operations consisted of the successful manufacturing of large-scale products (such as droids, vehicles, and starships), yet the corporation sought to step in bold direction: Alchemy. While obscure, history itself has shown the exceptional strength of the art; and as such SDE decided to harness its capabilities for profit. To this end, the corporation reached out to one of the Galaxy's notable alchemists, Isley Verd, and made him a handsome offer: leadership of a new subsidiary centered around his practice (complete with a beautiful starting bonus.) After signing on the dotted line, Isley was named CEO of the budding subsidiary and was provided with enough means to begin work immediately.
Description
Stargo Forge Works is a bold step in a new direction, undertaken by Stargo Defense Enterprises. The subsidiary, as a whole, operates on an immensely smaller scale than its parent corporation. As opposed to the mass production of large-scale items, Stargo Forge Works currently creates a small sum of items at a moderately slow rate. While this is a stark contrast to the business model of its parent company, this process allows for the company to check, double check, and triple check their products for quality assurance. Due to the nature of Alchemy, great care must be taken during the production process; and Stargo Forge Works is committed to excellence with each item. Currently, the process by which items are conceived and developed occur under the watchful eye of the corporation's head: Isley Verd.
To date, Stargo Forge Works is headquartered on Dathomir in the territory of Clan Morte. Its holdings consist of a single Forge, wrought from startup funding provided by Stargo Defense Enterprises, in addition to an adjacent sales office. At present, the corporation is staffed by its head and a handful of personal assistants selected from his clan. Together, this small circle of individuals draft and create Alchemized products; which are then displayed in the office for traditional sale. Of course, a corporation of this caliber accepts commissions; and it is only through individual requests that "masterwork" products are created. Commissions are made through contacting the main sales office and payment operates on a "barter" system. Credits are never accepted for commissions, but other assets are more than accepted.
