- All Around Support - Due to her physical conditions, the suit is made for Jalan to aid her in whatever she decides to do. Namely in supporting her physically by means of cushioning, compressive support, and a decently capable armor.
- Catch All - Designed mainly to keep the world and everything involved outside of the suit rather than a functional, front-line suit of armor.
- Unique, just a spicy word for pricey - A decent price was paid to have this made, and it is fitted exclusively to Jalan making for a lightweight, glove-like fit.
- Send it to Space - The layers of superstretch durafiber make this suit vacuum capable with the helmet. As is, it provides a layer of protection against wet environments, and an excellent environment trap for the temperature regulation system.
- These Hands - The Echani Accuracy Gloves give her a slight edge in hand to hand against a melee weapon, but only slightly.
- More Filters - Through a few small ports on the helmet, there are a small number of filtration systems built into the suit with systems placed along the belt to aid this function. Drawing from the air around it and filtering, or providing a limited supply from a small container.
- Ablative Plating - Blended into the whole of the outer layer, the ablative coating of the plates allow them to disperse ion and emp sources relatively well, allowing some protection to the internal systems.
- No Disrupting My Fun - Using and open market piece of tech in the belt, the additional system removes the chance for disruptor rounds to do more than heavy blaster bolts.
- Sonic, or aural? - The Sonic Nullifier cannot work in tandem with the aural amplifier and the same in reverse. One system must be switched off when the other is on.
- Power - The suit does use power-cells to operate the automated systems and temperature regulator, giving it an energy signature.
- Sealed suit - What can't get in, also can't get out. Were something to get into the vacuum layer of the suit, be it gas, liquid, or a superheated solid; the suit would have to be taken off and appropriately cared for before the vacuum seal works properly.
- Temperature - Makes her stick out like a sore thumb in thermals. A glaringly hot, sore thumb.
- Not Bulletproof - The suit, though highly resistant, is not bulletproof all over. Because of this, the vacuum capabilities of this suit can become compromised in heavy firefight scenarios.
- Bringing the Heat - Even if the disruptor rounds don't work as intended, the continued use of disruptor rounds could possible melt the armor right off the woman. Or to her.
The HRD that watches over Jalan does not bother to ask for the young woman’s input on anything before either purchasing, or requesting for a manufactured piece. This suit was no exception. Fashioned as a means of both light combat armor, and general protection from the environment, this suit blends both form and function. Temperature regulation was a must in order to avoid the risk of overheating or potential frostbite. Decent amounts of kinetic resistant materials to aid in the resistance of external energy sources and light plating to provide a hard point for a backpack or even a parachute in case of flight training. A focus was placed on reducing possible damage from energy in lieu of kinetic rounds to save on weight, but also in providing a layer of protection to remove the chance for random cuts and grazes.
The stim and bacta injectors were a small addition, to possibly aid in staving off a life threatening infection, or even assist in getting her to safety should the need arise in a dire situation. Temperature regulation was a must to avoid not only extreme weathers, but also attempt to reign in a fever in the field in the worst case scenario. This allows for some ability to resist unusual weather conditions such as high heat or low cold, but continued exposure to these elements will wear down the battery in the system for life support. The addition of the anti-disruptor system was more akin to a mother over-packing than an actual threat being posed.
The plate-holder that comes with this suit can be removed completely, but it removes a bit of energy and a large portion of kinetic protection. It also adds a layer of support via compression of the torso and spine using the material and adjustable straps. The belt around the waist houses a number of the processing systems such as the automated temperature regulator, a filtration system hub, along with the anti-disruptor system. A number of power cells are also kept on the belt in a fashion similar to a typical cartridge setup for weapons.
The switch between Aural Amplifier and Sonic Nullifier can be made with the press of a button on the wrist, the use of a voice command, or pressing a separate button located in front of the aural housings on either side of the helmet.
