A suit of armor designed by Rook, a mercenary with an enigmatic history and identity. The armor hides his face and helps him remain an enigma, while preparing him for anything he may face on the battlefield. It's made of a bizarre material called Ultrachrome, which absorbs energy to protect the wearer. This can even temporarily protect one from a lightsaber. Though it seems that if the armor absorbs too much energy it will begin to melt, making extreme heat environments unadvised. It comes with a suite of other systems that provide EMP resistance, waterproofing, limited time underwater and in the vacuum of space, and an in-helmet comms system. Of course, Rook will only receive communications. He will never send them. To keep the suit light, Rook was forced to leave some areas exposed, which may present areas vulnerable to attack. Rook seems to have an affinity for the 'Starbird,' as it is crudely drawn on the chest-plate and has given the armor its name.
