Rationale: The company was created by the Infinite Empire government, headed by Predor So'Sha, to establish a way for the Rakata to gain materials and resources to build their military without revealing themselves or showing weakness by asking for help from other factions. So the company was set up through a paid conspirator and a series of circling paper trails that would take an amazing detective eye to track.

Description: Star Forgers United is currently a small research and minor development company that was created by the Predor to gain the resources needed to build a military without revealing the Infinite Empire early or stooping down to asking factions for assistance. The name comes from Rakata history, told by the Eternal One, in a story about the Star Forge. The Predor took a liking to the story as it showed the power and intelligence of the Rakata people, so when he named the company he named it after the star forge. The company accepts private contracts, both to strengthen its research efforts and to maintain a non-suspicious demeanor in the galaxy. However, the bulk of its resources and ships are secretly built for the Rakata military and it never builds anything that uses new or old Rakata technology for anyone besides the Infinite Empire. It currently maintains small arms contracts with mercenaries and pirates for funds and uses those funds to buy important war materials from mining companies.
