Diplomat, Orator, Demagogue: Sssar Taszzn, despite his fiercesome appearance, is more fond of negotiations than physical confrontation and has become skilled with such tools as compromise, sanctions, and even demagoguery in order to persuade the common people to pressure his political adversaries.
Limbless: Fillithar do not naturally have any limbs (legs, arms, etc) and thus are incapable of making use of tools or technology that require the fine motor skills that come with them.
Reliance: Due to his previous weakness "Limbless", Sssar Taszzn, relies on protocol droids and other such mechanical or organic assistants to handle the technological demands he cannot - such as opening some more ancient forms of door with knobs - or more frequently the transfer of documents, hardware, and gifts.
APPEARANCE: A very large serpentine alien of the Fillithar species that appears fierce as any serious predator would.

BIOGRAPHY
Early Life
Sssar Taszzn was born on the planet Fillithar. Much less is known about this stage of his life than most others who rise to any sort of promience in the galaxy. What is certain is that from a young age he had a manipulative streak. Honorable in his word, influtential in his companions, and resolute in enforcing his deals.
Political Prologue
When he was yet still in his twenties the young Sssar Taszzn came under the tutelage of a former First Order politician by the name of Ross Gabbur. The displaced demagogue saw potential in Sssar to become an influential pawn in his bid for renewed power in a galaxy now devoid of the propagandist industry of the First Order. And for some time Sssar was unaware of this ploy, until he was confronted by the law enforcement agency of the planet Empress Theta. Apparently Ross Gabbur had attempted to leverage blackmail against a sector police commissioner, which had clearly backfired. Sssar was offered a deal: testify and gather evidence against Ross Gabbur or be charged with Conspiracy alongside Gabbur as an accomplice.
During this period of months, Sssar, discovered how deeply his mentor had strayed into dealings with the criminal elements of the underworld. Deals with the flash-in-the-pan Black Sun, Core related abductions for the slave trade of the Sith Empire's vassal Zyggerian state, and influence peddling. Some of these operations were successful because of Sssar's direct, albeit unaware, involvement. Once his protege handed over the evidence to condemn Ross Gabbur on far more than the original charges the Commissioner made evident Sssar's compliance and help in bringing down the now incarcerated former First Order official.
Despite being deceived and now without the guidance of his mentor, Sssar Taszzn, was able to maintain some of his influential contacts who were more understanding. The powerful criminal contacts of Ross Gabbur cut ties immediately with Sssar Taszzn and their current feelings towards the Fillithar are unknown.
Armed with the skills of his mentor, contacts of his previous work, and the talent to pull them together into a manageable support network the ambitious Sssar Taszzn has recently been rising through the ranks of planetary politics on multiple planets including Coruscant, Correlia, and Empress Theta. Essentially an influence peddler and activist organizer for now his burgeoning reputation as a shrewd negotiator and inspirational rallies have earned him the eye of even some Senators.

Senator of Eclipse
Sssar Taszzn successfully convinced the small, autonomous, Eclipse Station located on the previously hidden planet of Eclipse to allow him represent their interests. As Senator of Eclipse one of his first actions was to request renovations to the ancient station, built by Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order, which saw the appearance of several influential Senators.
Adhira Chandra
was one such attendee who went on to become the successor of
Emmen Tagge
as Chancellor of the Galactic Alliance.
Later Sssar became a staunch opponent of the full autonomy of the New Jedi Order. Organizing and presenting to the floor of the Federal Assembly the bill to create the Special Committee on Force Affairs. From then on Sssar has regarded some of the actions of the New Jedi Order with suspicion as he believes they continue to act without enforced oversight. A new threat against the Alliance presented itself to Sssar in the form of the Brotherhood of the Maw and their destruction of the Chiss planet Csilla. With the defection of the Byss governor to the Brotherhood, Sentaor Taszzn, sees their subversive activities as a paramount threat to the stability of the Alliance.[
With the attack on Coruscant by the Brotherhood of the Maw and the ascension of Aeraii Tithe to the position of Chancellor, behind closed doors in a private meeting with the new Chancellor and Sssar's peers the Filithar denounced not only the Chancellor but the Senators and banking clan representative present. In short he felt long since ignored and that the politics of the assembly had made life no better for the common people. He also did not trust the former Moff Aeraii Tithe of the Sith Empire, a defector, to be the new Chancellor of the Alliance.
After years of service within the Senate the venerable Senator of Eclipse made a quiet exit from public service. Taking with him a political legacy of middling controversy and hardline Law & Order policies./spoiler]

Retirement from the Senate
Sssar Taszzn now joins a multitude of other former civil servants in retirement. His current where-abouts are rumored to be somewhere on Tython, in a frontier town of the reconstruction efforts.[/spoiler[
Judgeship
Re-emerging sometime after his retirement from the legislature, Sssar surfaced on Tython with a new appointment to the Department of Justice as a Judge. While his power at the present is not as great as it could be, his legal authority has greatly expanded. The notoriously strict Law & Order figure now has the tools at his disposal to distribute justice, with the shadowy figures of his entourage of zealots at his back.
