SSB: Public FREIGHTER SALE by Corellian Engineering Corporation and Silk Holdings

@[member="Selka Ventus"]

The shaggy salvager stood in the long line, filling out a datapad of pertinent information pertaining to credit and various holdings. His identification was clipped to the corner along with his credchip card attached to Salacia Consolidated. This part of the expo was a business expense. With mining sites up and down the Rimma Trade Route something with enough cargo space and crew room was needed to transport in between locations. Although he had a shipyard now, it was only capable of producing small items. Nothing on this grand of a scale. It was tempting to pick up an Alndys class as well but it was a little similar to the Siren's Song , just on a grander scale. He loved the Siren and no intention of parting with it, even for something larger.

Finally reaching the front, Judah handed his information over.

"One Tempus Ardet-class"

His credit history spoke of a long and distinguished career as a contractor. He could afford it -- barely. The sale was made.

@[member="Judah Dashiell"] got a professional smile from the Silk co-CEO. "Mr. Dashiell, we'd be pleased to provide you with a Tempus Ardet. We'll deliver it to Kesh immediately." He got the preferred customer rate. A Tempus Ardet was a cool million; Judah was walking away with a 20% discount on top of the fifteen. Six-fifty for a mil's worth of ship. Not a bad day to be a Dashiell.

"Actually.. can I get another Pathfinder? Want one for myself, the lady is probably going to snatch the first one; right out of my hands. Oh... and can you cut me a deal for one of those Elite Starfighters? I would be a very very happy man."

"Always a pleasure Miss Ventus. I'll make sure HQ is on the lookout for the delivery"

Taking his identification and credchip back, Judah flashed a smile at the CEO before leaving. Of course, it was always a good day to be a Dashiell. Customer discount or not!

Davik Tren

The Friendly Fiend
Davik had been looking for a suitable place to buy a vessel, prior to the selling of his sunrider, and the expo seemed the perfect area to start. He had filled out the necessary forms and Davik knew the purchase would drain his funds greatly, but with future jobs planned, the ship would be well worth it. "I would like one YTA-1300, if at all possible..."

Ayden flipped through a pad of data and found the man's credit history. It was a tight fight, but he looked good for it. "If you'd like, we can set you up with a financing option with a reasonable interest rate."

Davik looked at the pad and nodded with approval, the rate was indeed not a problem. The spacer would need to dip into his funds on Atrisia, but this would not be an issue. "Excellent. Could you deliver it to this port on Coruscant?" Davik showed the man the location of the private docking port on the mid-levels.

"Not a problem. We'll have to assess a small transport fee, but it will be delivered..." Ayden ran the credit check one more time and upon approval, looked up and smiled. "in about seventy-two galactic standard hours. Corellian Engineering thanks you for your patronage."

"Another Pathfinder?" The Santhe boss got a long, slow blink, but Selka processed the transaction nonetheless. "As for a Rassilon -- well, the first one ever sold was sold today. I can't offer a discount, of course, but yes, the sticker price is two hundred fifty thousand. What modularity package would you like with that, and which paint job?"

"This is Lord Daemos hailing, I would request a Winter Eagle transported to my new residence on Tera Lush. If accepted I shall send the coordinates," Damien's figure appeared holographically to the saleswoman.

"Any fees you need you can withdraw immediately from the Bank of Kuat. Pleasure doing business."
Davik exited the expo with a smile on his face and a new ship to his name.

Larraq flipped through the catalog of ships as he casually sipped on yet another glass of whiskey. His intent had been to simply check up on his competition, but in the end he couldn't deny the quality that went into some of the Bulk Freighters produced by either company. Eventually, he gave in and admitted that Hyperion Mining could use a few more large large scale shipping option. “I'll take one of the Reclaimer freighters and one of the Connestoga freighters.” Larraq eventually said to the sales rep as he put down the catalog.

"The Reclaimer's a fine ship," said the middle-management-looking woman at the stall, as she topped up the transaction. "Alna D'Lessio Merrill's first commercial design. We recently re-acquired the production rights, and it's already proving a strong seller. As for the Connestoga, the Mandalorians are always welcome to our business. One thing I think you'll like -- see these flat sections? And the slots here on the nacelles? Nearly every flat surface on this ship is load-bearing, for a total of over seventy percent of the spaceframe, and the right cargo container can clamp right on, even stack. We're about to put our own internal-use cargo container on the market. The Connestoga is a container transport first and foremost, and the Savant -- that's the container we're about to release -- can use any kind of stacking fixer, cleat, or clamp. It's also shaped to minimize space lost in dense three-dimensional stacking, unlike some of our competitors' shipping containers. You can easily double the effective volume of a Connestoga if you stack the containers right.

"Of course, that's almost gilding the lily. This thing can carry as much cargo as half a dozen Lucrehulks. The Mandalorian clans are making a wise choice, if I do say so myself." She signed the sales order with an uncharacteristic flourish. "Expand or die, after all."

Larraq smiled politely at the woman. "Yes, expansion is critical to both businesses and nations. I'll be very interested to see how they perform." Larraq said to the woman as he signed the purchase contract. "Go ahead and mark me down for a few dozen of the containers once they reach market. Have you considered making the containers themselves able to survive a controlled reentry? It would certainly help a great deal when dealing with colonization efforts or rapid resupply where time is at a premium."

Selka nodded. "We did; they're fully compatible with standard repulsor and thruster modules for reentry purposes, and for improving performance when they're linked behind a tow vehicle. They're also compatible with the intermediate and terminal thruster modules from a Reclaimer, as it happens."

"Pleasure doing business. Here are the coordinates," And with the message came the location if his home.
