Strengths:
  • Heavy Hitter: This ship can dish out some fire power as well as take it in.
  • I've got the wheel: If need be the Astromech or Co-pilot can take over the ship's controls.
  • I've got your back: The swiveled turret allows the ship to maintain it's own rear defenses when being followed by other starfighters.
  • Did you bring a spare?: Because of the excess cargo space, if not engaged in an overbearing trade mission the ships will be able to house spare parts and supplies for their maintenance.
Weaknesses:
  • Slow and steady: This starfighter is slower than the average fighter, making it more vulnerable to faster ships.
  • How much?!: This puppy is expensive and harder to manufacture.
  • Difficult to pilot: Not just any green in the gills pilot can get behind this Starfighter, experience is your ally with a ship like this.
Description: The SS-105 was made to be an expensive, hard hitting, defensive starfighter. Because of this the ship sacrificed speed for firepower and technological advantages. One such advantage is the crew utilized to pilot the ship. While the fighter can be manned solo it is recommended to have at least two forms of operators. Whether it be a pilot and co-pilot or a pilot and an Astromech is to the operator's discretion. To maximally utilize the starfighter having a pilot, co-pilot, and astromech to monitor the ships systems is advised if possible. Because of it's size it can fit a hyperdrive as well as deflector shield generator. These are located in the rear of the ship, where the strongest part of the hull is.

Monitor and sensor systems are available though are rarely necessary. Since the starfighters often accompany Trade fleets it is not generally needed for each starfighter to use it's sensory systems unless engaged in combat. One of the most used systems available for these fighters is the extra cargo space which can house almost 150lbs worth of material. While not an excessive amount it allows for the crew to supply the necessary supplies and auxiliary parts for the ships.
