Hilal had never been on Coruscant before.

She had never stepped foot into the Core Worlds having lived most of her life in the Outer Rim. Hilal had to admit it was a bit intimidating going to the capital of not only the Galactic Alliance, but the stinking Jedi as well. When she was a girl, Hilal had heard many tales of the glorious battles between the Mandalorians and the Jedi. The Jedi were self-righteous zealots wearing bathrobes and were armed with rave sticks. They thought because they had the Force, that meant they were better than everyone else. Lies! The Mandalorians were true innovators and pushed what it meant to be a warrior! From jet packs, to hand-to-hand combat, Mandalorians helped revolutionize technology and combat and it had appeal to the normal people, not these freaks of nature known as the Jedi.

Shaking her head, Hilal got off the freighter ship and stepped out onto the Coruscant spaceport. She gazed at the massive window her hand touching it her eyes widening, the massive skyscrappers that felt like it touched the sky, the many speeders that drove through the buildings. Hilal looked up in awe seeing the crown jewel of the Galactic Alliance which was last she heard was still recovering from the Brotherhood attack.

"Beautiful," Hilal muttered staring at the Sun which was rising above the gigantic skyscrapers. It felt like something out of a dream, a world that felt that it shouldn't exist became real. Shaking her head, Hilal had to stay focused on her goal, she needed to get the crystal data chip which was needed to act as the "heart" of her Mandalorian suit that she was constructing. "It was currently under the grubby hands of a Hutt named: Zulo. Hilal was going to go in, steal it, and get out. Easier said than done of course, but Hilal had the tools needed to do the job.

It seemed like no matter how much they fought, there were always more Sithspawn hidden away in the underbelly of Coruscant. Too many were too good at self replicating. Reproducing. Whatever it was they did, too many species survived too easily here. It wasn't uncommon for the Jedi to head down to help where they could. Today was another of those days for Iris. Training in the still being rebuilt temple could only get her so far. With a new style of fighting, she needed real practice.

And people needed help.

A heavy sigh escaped the Padawan as she extinguished her saber. Another of the more feral beasts laid out before her. It was rampaging through the streets, as many did. But there was something.. Off.

It had a collar.

Iris frowned as she plucked free the collar. Someone was taming these beasts. No, not taming. It killed too many people to be considered tame. Someone was collecting them. There was no name, but the style and seeming money put into the leather and it's design made at least one thing clear. Someone with money owned it. Now she just needed to find who had the collar crafted.

Hilal had heard many rumors about the lower levels of Coruscant, it was where the majority of the population lived. It was also ignored by the Senators and Jedi alike. It was another thing that Hilal disliked about the Jedi, for all of their preaching about protecting the weak they sure love pretending that they don't exist. It didn't help that these New Jedi Order types seemed to mingle with the rich and powerful so much for not giving in to attachments! The young woman held onto the strap of her black bag. It contained her personal blaster pistol, her Droid: DVA whom she bought from a junkyard and repurposed to serve as support ranging from gathering intel and hacking. There was also, her flamethrower, wrist rockets and all sorts of trinkets needed for her mission.

Zilo was a bad guy, and no one would lose any sleep if Hilal offed him. Yet the young woman wanted to get this done as clean as possible. Get in, grab the crystal data chip and get out. Hilal took a taxicab which took her to the bottom levels of the city planet, she still looked at the massive buildings wondering how long did it take for them to be built? Given that Coruscant had access to the best architects and technology perhaps close to a year maybe two. Hilal was struggling to get pieces for her armor and she thought about the concept for it since she was 8 years old.

As the cab went dipped down from the majestic cityscape, Hilal noticed the walls becoming grimier and the area started to darken. Even though, the Taxi doors were closed, she can smell a foul odor inside. It was like the junkyard back at Kestri but worse at least Hilal knows that the Mandos in the planet are toilet trained! After what felt like an eternity, the Taxi touched port at one of its designated areas Hilal inserted the Credit Card for the AI to accept and exited the cab looking around. The young woman tracked Zilo down on level 1313, it was cold and desolate with a strange number blood and scratch marks on the floor.

Taking a deep breath, Hilal reached into her bag and took out her Blaster Pistol. She was a Mandalorian, a place like this wouldn't intimidate her even if she felt like she wanted to run and hide. "I'm not afraid," Hilal took a small step and began walking, the Hutt was a few miles ahead and she really wanted to get this over with.

It'd taken a bit to find the establishment in question. It was.. Not what she was looking forward to. A crime lord, here on Coruscant. Taking advantage of the chaos. Using the Sithspawn as pets. Worse, as a threat to those who didn't follow what he wanted. This deep on the city world there was no law. Not with all the problems still ravaging the upper levels.

She walked towards Zilo's estate. Only to see.. A school kid. With a pink gun? The Padawan blinked slowly before clearing her throat as she approached. "Hey, uh, should you uh.. Be here?" She kept her voice soft, trying to find a spot out of sight to avoid any of the hutts patrols.

Hilal jumped at a voice questioning her what she was doing here, she immediately pointed her pistol towards the small, pale girl who looked to be around her age? Curious. She was dressed on what looked to be Jedi garb and of course the dead giveaway: Her Lightsaber that lay clipped on her belt. "Jedi?!" Hilal said raising her pistol at her face. "Lemme tell you something! Whether or not I should be here is none of your damn business so why don't you take your glowing stick and bathrobes of yours and get the hell out of my way!"

Just her luck to encounter her first ever Jedi, part of Hilal wanted to test her mettle against her, but she wasn't wearing the right equipment. "So?!" Hilal yelled. "Are you gonna go?!"

Iris blinked, but didn't really react otherwise. Even as Hilal Vizsla Hilal Vizsla yelled at her and such. Most people would've taken offence. Briana Sal-Soren Briana Sal-Soren certainly would have. Should she..? No, there was something off about the colors.

"It's okay to be scared." Whatever the reason this girl had to be here, Iris wasn't going to judge her. If she wanted to stay, that was fine.

"Are you here to stop Zilo too?"

Hilal broke out into uproarious laughter though it was mostly to hide her fear of being a stranger in a strange place. "Afraid?!" Hilal said between giggles though she kept her pistol pointed at the girl. "I'm not afraid Jedi! In fact, you should be afraid that a Mandalorian has you by gunpoint! So why don't you don't you do me a favor and-"

She then stopped laughing the moment the girl asked if she was here to stop Zilo as well. "Wait? What?!" She asked incredulously. "You are tracking him down too? Hah! And here I thought all of you lot became bloated rich people who chit on your people!"

The young woman slowly placed down her pistol. "All right," She said. "I'm giving you a chance to explain who you are and what's your beef with Zilo the Hutt? Name's Hilal of Clan Vizsla and I'm here to take a Data Crystal Chip that's currently in the grubby hands of that Hutt!"

Maybe they can work together. Just this once though.

"Jedi have money?" Yeah, that was the one thing that stood out for Iris in everything Hilal Vizsla Hilal Vizsla said. She tended to tune out a lot, especially when the colors were saying something in complete contradiction to what someone was saying. Though, wait- Huh? A chip? The Padawan tilted her head, but she didn't bother questioning it. Whatever the reason, they were going to work together now, right?

"Iris. He's been taking Sithspawn as pets and using them to eat people who don't pay him. I'm here to stop him."

"Oh, please don't be so naive kid!" Hilal spouted placing her hand on her hip. "Have you've seen those NJO hypocrites living glamorous lives? Posing for magazines and becoming influential politicians. It's so funny how you people preach humility and resistance to temptation while you guys go all in when it comes attaining power!"

Hilal didn't feel like debating the merits of the Jedi to her. She'll probably just deny it all, they always do. "Sithspawn?" Hilal frowned. "I remember watching footage of the sack of Coruscant. Especially the ones that the media didn't allow the public to see. Those things still patrol the lower areas?"

The young woman pressed her back against the wall, peeking behind the corner. "Well what do you know?" Hilal whispered. "The Hutt's estate is around the corner. If those things are still on the loose then we need to take care of them. They carry a disease that could spread throughout this level and most likely others as well. If the NJO don't give a damn about the people here looks like the Mandalorians will have to."

She reached in her bag taking out DVA who was immediately activated. "First we need to scout out the area." Hilal said. "DVA is good at recon, I've reconfigured to do so."

"I- Yes?" That was the point of why Iris was there. Stop the Sithspawn being used before it could spread disease and death. The Padawan hadn't met a personality like Hilal Vizsla Hilal Vizsla 's before, that much was evident. She tilted her head, curious, but she didn't ask anything more. If they were going to move forward together, that was enough for Iris. "Then.. DVA, do you mind looking out for us?" She turned her gaze towards the droid, smiling softly.

"It would be a great help."

As Hilal took out her Tactical Visor, DVA jumped up and down beeping happily towards Iris. The Jedi was the first person DVA has seen, and he was all over her like a Dog excited to see his owner. "The poor guy was clinging on to dear life when I found him in the junkyard." Hilal said in a wistful tone putting on her visor and trying to connect to her Droid. "His processing power was leaking, and his legs were missing, when picked him up, his blue eyes looked up at me pleading for help."

Hilal sighed a bit looking down on the floor remembering DVA, how he was holding to hope after being tossed into junkyard like a piece of trash and spending his time all alone. Just like her. "I fixed him up and gave up a ton of upgrades." Hilal continued. "DVA Or Defense Virtual Assessment is redesigned for reconnaissance and to provide support during missions. He can also deliver small arms and can hack into data ports for data transfer."

DVA spun around striking Iris a pose, Hilal shook her head in response giggling as she did so. "I've also installed a small cloaking device on him," DVA said adjusting her visor. "He should be able to infiltrate the estate undetected."

After a few seconds, Hilal's visor was connected to DVA's eyes. The young woman could now see what he sees. "Right DVA," Hilal whispered. "Get into the Hutt's estate and see what you can find!"

The colors of droids were often different from the colors of living people. Yet it was obvious just how excited and alive it was. Programing and all. The colors were different, but life was still the same. Her gaze shifted to the estate, for a moment worried about DVA having to go through the Hutts estate. Though, Hilal Vizsla Hilal Vizsla seemed to have a different idea. No need to worry, the droid had the upgrades for it.

Was more or less how Iris took everything that was being said. She'd be lying if she said she understood any of it. She was still figuring out the terms for her own ship, let alone a droid and upgrades n' such.

"So.. We wait?"

"Well duh," Hilal rolled her eyes at Iris' remark about saying that they should wait. "Unless you want to be riddled with blaster bolts then be my guest. Not the first time a Jedi's hubris cost them their lives."

Hilal HUD showed DVA going invisible and approaching the estate rolling towards the tall yet fake grass. "And look at that," Hial mumbled. "There are a lot of Gammeroeans armed with projectile weapons. Shotguns, SMGs.... they use material that Lightsabers can't redirect."

There were also fancy looking limousines three of them parked near the gate way. "What's this?" Hilal muttered. "We got guests here as well, DVA enhance image on the nearest speeder."

DVA zoomed in on the symbol as it identified it as part of the business cartels.

"Ah corpos," Hilal said. "Come to see the Hutt."
