Description: A chunk of smokestone secured during the ongoing Fringe campaign against the Sorcerers of Rhand, the throne is a mental transmitter capable of extending the reach of Spencer's mental senses exponentially. Nihil smokestone is used in Rhandite rites to extend the reach of mind control effects. The throne's left arm contains small droid-targeted needles which inject unactivated glitterstim, in an alchemically altered fluid form, directly into the bloodstream at a point between thumb and forefinger, halfway to the wrist. Long-wavelength ultraviolet light is then pulsed into the heart through the naked back, activating the glitterstim as it exits the heart to suffuse the body and mind. Glitterstim is used to enhance empathic senses, and Spencer has extensive experience using glitterstim for this purpose.

The throne was made specifically for Spencer. Other high-level Masters, lacking her empathic expertise, range and experience, as well as her familiarity with glitterstim-based empathy, would be overwhelmed by using the throne. This would probably induce mental trauma, unconsciousness, or other negative mental effects. Additionally, glitterstim is addictive, and overuse can lead to twitches, paranoia, blindness, and overdose. The ultraviolet light can cause a sunburn on the back with extended use.

When using the throne in optimal conditions, Spencer's empathy can sense the emotional balance of distant worlds, and she can perform battle meditation (her specialty) at comparable ranges, but only temporarily. The throne is located on an unnamed moon in the Shasfath Cluster, where Spencer can cast her perception across both the Fringe heartland and the Deep Core. It is not portable without removing a very large portion of the ground beneath it, due to some of the Nightsister rituals used in its creation.

Is this throne portable? Or is it fixed in position?

Usually, wrist injections are... Hard to do. Especially when the arm is unrestrained. You don't have to edit, but I might suggest a hand injection point (between the thumb and forefinger halfway to the wrist) or the crook of the elbow. Up to you though.

Lastly, what is the approximate, average range boost of this throne?
