First theorized by the engineers of the Shadow Mind in conjunction with the Alchemarch, the Null Mantle emerged from a doctrine of combat that prioritized perceptual sabotage over raw concealment. Its core framework was woven from Veilweave Shroudcloth, a potent alchemical textile derived from cursed rites and infused with ritual echoes of vanishing and deceit. Paired with Quantum-Distortion Filaments and Abyssal Sense-Dampening Shards, the system disrupts the relationship between observer and object, introducing dissonance into how targeting systems, passive sensors, and Force intuition interpret the ship's presence.
