- Description: A large cat, approximately 3 feet for the large ones at shoulder height, that lives on the storm stricken planet of Eadu. Its fur is typically a bright white to electric blue with black stripes.

- Hair color: A striped animal, black strikes make way to white, electric blue, and in some cases bright purple fur.
- Distinctions: Similar in size to a Corellian Slice Hound, or Loth Wolf, the Sparkat is more feline than the others. Tufted ears, stripes, and a long tail. Its eyes always tend towards the blue side.

- Lightning and Electricity Resistant - The Sparkat is able to control its local environment of lightning and electricity, being from such a storm stricken world.
- Excellent Dark Vision - To call it night vision is a misnomer, as on its homeworld, the Sparkat is subject to long periods of dark due to storms.
- Agile - Unlike Charhounds, Slice Hounds, or Loth Wolves, the Sparkat is feline and much more agile, using the canyons of its homeworld to hunt prey.
- Dry Worlds - From a world that is always storming, the Sparkat requires humid and rainy environments to really thrive.
- Limited Power - While the Sparkat can control electrical impulses, it does need time to recharge these energy sacks.
- Lightning Bruiser - The Sparkat focuses on speed and its electrical abilities rather than raw strength and going toe to toe with most species of similar size puts the Sparkat at a disadvantage.
- Diet: Carnivorous. The Sparkat prefers to hunt smaller rodents and birds. While it can eat many vegetables, there are a great number of larger fruits, citrus and apples are poisonous to the Sparkat.
- Communication: Yips, growls, meows, and a form of electrical communication. This form allows for the transference of ‘gut feelings’ and intention, not true communication.

- General behavior: The Sparkat is a beast that uses its specialized electricity sacks to hunt prey. Able to find the electrical impulses in other beings, the Sparkat can negatively affect the other being by creating a nullified area of electricity, or by firing electricity at a foe or prey to knock it down. Territorial, the Sparkats live in small family units typically lead by one male with up to three females. Many males are lone wanderers and very rarely are given a chance to hold territory or mate.
A naturally occurring species, the Sparkat is found on Eadu natively, and can be transferred to other stormy planets. Very rarely, they have been domesticated, or captured for study. A Sparkat can become a very loyal companion to the right trainer. They have been removed from their planet several times, to be placed in zoos, but the transfer doesn’t always go well for the keepers. Some of the population are lightly Force sensitive and these tend to be ones that are easier to train.
