Spaarti Creations Headquarters, Cartao

ENS_MPv01.jpg
Basic Information

Intent:
To create a fun and interesting location to Roleplay in with anyone wanting to do business and/or simply interact with Spaarti Creations or Ethan!

Classification:
Company Headquarters

Location:
Located near the shores of a renowned beach on Cartao, Spaarti Creations' Headquarters nests on a mountainside that overlooks a spectacular view of the quiet jungles and glistening ocean shores below. Forever coursing beside the facility's East front is a powerful river that ends in a long waterfall which empties into a river in the jungles below. This river is so wide that from the balconies along the walls of the headquarters you can see the waters cutting through the beautiful jungle scenery as it flows into the ocean a few miles from the mountain top.

Description:

The Cloner's Trail (Entrance Approaching the South of the Facility):

Thanks to the full cooperation of the Cartao natives in the reestablishment of their people's long lost asset, Spaarti Creations was able to afford a beautiful location high on the mountainside of one of the planet's longest mountain ranges. Thanks to this, the facility is defended by natural obstacles that make it impossible to enter the facility from all but one direction while on foot. This little fact has led to the entrance being referred to as 'The Cloner's Trail'. The Cloner's Trail begins at the foot of Mount Calamji, the highest peak in the Talioa Mountain Range. One can easily get to this trail by speeder, but certain aspects have been taken into account so that no one can continue down the trail on anything larger than a speeder bike.

The "entrance" to the trail has been perfectly set so that most land and air speeders could not climb higher due to the increased altitude but could not continue at ground level as the clearance between trees and rocks was purposely left too small for most multi-person craft. While certain military vehicles could get past this hurdle, they would still need to climb high enough that sensors from Spaarti Headquarters could pick them up; thus eliminating the possibility for a large force to take the facility by surprise. While speeder bikes could easily navigate the trail with experienced pilots at the helm, they would hardly be able to surprise the facility with the time it takes to move down the trail; which is dotted with sensor and listening posts to alert the control team back at headquarters. If people are in need of food or medical attention while hiking or driving along this path, they kind find help at one of three outposts along the trail.

The Experience:

We move on now to what an individual would experience while moving up the trail on foot or by Speeder Bike. The trail itself is approximately ten miles from start to finish; practically making it a hike for anyone not expected or important enough to arrive via scheduled shuttle on the North Side of the facility. Still, there are many who wish to enter the facility through this method whether they are expected or not and it is even a popular destination for eco-tourists. It has become such a popular destination that Spaarti actually bought the land surrounding their facility for ten miles in each direction and now charges an entrance fee of twenty credits to any unexpected guests. There has even been the establishment of an annual "Hike the Cloner's Trail" charity event in which a day hike is scheduled by Spaarti and all entrance fees are set to a minimum amount of ten credits with no set maximum. These fees are then donated to a charity of the owner's choice.

The trail begins at "Alde's Bridge" a scenic area complete with a waterfall and river that run under a flawlessly crafted Coruscanthium bridge that is lined with thin strips of pyronium along its inner edges. Due to the nature of this rare and beautiful metal, the linings of the bridge will turn various colors throughout the day as the material absorbs more (or less) electromagnetic energy throughout the day. If someone stood near this bridge throughout the day, it is quite possible that they'd bare witness to the whole visual spectrum glowing from the precious metal lining the structure. Upon crossing this bridge a built in sensor will read any credit chips on the visitors person and withdraw the twenty credits from their account automatically. If the individual has no credit chip, they will be stopped by a security droid who will ask them for a physical deposit of the twenty-credits. While here, people can enjoy the quaint sights, scents and sounds of nature accompanied by the light hum of the water.

After a three mile hike/drive, visitors will come to Cylinder Canyon and the first of the three outposts. Cylinder Canyon is distinguished by the swamp-like river that cuts through the mountains. Due to the high amount of toxic minerals in the water, tree and plant life tend to not grow in the area; but some wildlife still exists. Most would call this the least exciting portion of the journey, but there is still beauty to be found even in this place. From the top of the outpost you can see over the mountain tops of the smaller peaks around you, giving you a unmatched view of the mountain range and the nearby Foulahn City in the distance. The outpost is manned by a team of Wacky Willy Service Droids, various customer service and medial droids as well as a small thirty-man squad of OOM Series Security droids.

At the six-mile mark, visitors will arrive at Karlio River Front, a pass that contains a river that is a continuation of the same river found in Cylinder Canyon. Unlike it's predecessor, however, the Karlio River Front is not marked by a massive outpost. Instead, this tranquil river is overlooked by a small outpost and a second bridge that visitors will take to continue their journey. While here, passersby can use restrooms and seek medical attention, but not buy goods. A small team of medical droids is always on standby and a ten-man team of OOM Series Security Droids are on constant alert. Aside from visit this small outpost, visitors can enjoy the white rocks and play in the river and perhaps get lucky enough to spot rare wildlife lurking amongst the lush trees.

After moving through two more miles of lush greenery and entering the last mountain pass, visitors will find themselves at mile eight. As they slowly peek around the final rock face the glowing Spaarti Tower will materialize before their eyes and they will know they are close to the facility. This area, known as 'The Approach', a small grassland beset on all sides by strong mountain faces where visitors can take long breaks on the grass, camp, fish or partake in activities such as rock climbing. Unlike the other two marker points, there is no outpost here as not to ruin the distinct beauty of this location. To exit this area, the visitors need only walk in the direction of Spaarti Tower and they will find a small artificial cavern leading them to the last leg of this race.

Emerging from the last tree of your hike, you will find yourself thrown into a beautiful creek side dotted with two massive Spaarti towers and you will know you have finally made it onto what is officially the Spaarti Facility. Known as 'The Malo Creek Staging Area' this section of land is home to a visitor's center and an elevator built right into the peak of the mountain. Those who do not have business with Spaarti can stay as long as they wish in the visitor's center and can even rent a room for the night if they wish. With a total of four-hundred visitors able to be housed in the center, visitors can take part in a small game of cards in the card room or utilize the built in recreational and gym centers. They can also rest assured they will be safe as the visitor's center holds a strong force of two-hundred and fifty OOM security droids. Those who can pass, however, will take a trip on the elevator that will bring them to the peak of the summit and to the Headquarters at last.

The Spaarti Building & Headquarters

As previously stated, the Spaarti Building is located at the peak of a mountain overlooking gorgeous scenery. During its creation, Ethan made sure that it could accommodate a number of high-level guests while also serving as an headquarters and production facility. This turned out to be easier than first imagined thanks to the Spaarti technology that allows the production facilities to be the most flexible in the galaxy. Knowing that his home of Corellia was no place to live and that Alderaan could prove dangerous if he made enemies, he wanted a building that he could call home just as much as he could call his place of work.

East and North Sides

Spaarti Headquarters was made to be gorgeous and the North and East sides of the facility showcase that ambition flawlessly. To make sure that guests got the most out of what could be a short visit, Ethan made sure that the landing pads were built on the North Side of the facility, where the facilities are built over the peak's dropoff. While on approach to the Hanging Landing Pads, visitors will be able to see a beautiful view from the windows of their shuttle. However, this is partly to distract from the fact that on their approach shuttles are monitored by four point-defense laser cannons. This security measure was demanded by the Cranscoc who were still paranoid about the potential for an air attack like the one that devastated Spaarti Creations long ago. This demand eventually led a total of six-teen point defense being positioned around the facility. (4 hanger/North side, 4 East Side, 4 South Side, 4 West Side)

The rest of the North Side is reserved for the delivery and export of products and materials to a from the facility, with work rotating around the clock. This brings us to the East Side of the facility where guests and employees can enjoy the magnificent waterfall, forest and ocean scenery in one breathtaking glance. As most of the East Side has been built into the riverbed of the waterfall itself, measures had to be taken against flooding. But it also needed to be prepared to service its employees and citizens with fresh water in case of an emergency. To protect the facility against flash floods, a thirty foot wide, one hundred foot-deep chasm was built around the facility in which the water from the river is able to flow into. At the bottom of this chasm is a massive filtration system that pumps ninety-nine percent of all water that flows into it back out into the river through a series of underground pipelines that bring the excess water down the mountain. The other one percent of water is stored in the facility's water tanks after being put through an intense purification process; thus providing all the water the facility needs. The water put into the tanks can be increased through system deep within the facility to provide emergency resources and in case of failure the system will enter purge mode and all water will be drained through emergency exit valves at the bottom of the chasm; draining all water within the chasm down the side of the mountain.

Ray shields are also used along the walkways and edges of the chasm to ensure that guests and employees won't be accidentally thrown to their deaths by a strong wind or a patch of bad footwork. This ensures that Spaarti could make a beautiful outside layer without having to worry about people dying. Fountains, parks, benches, statues and even a small golf course can be found on the East Side; making sure that VIP guests and employees (who often have to stay all work week due to the sophistication of the commute) are kept content during their long stays. Much like their charity hike, Spaarti holds annual dinners and auctions for charity; offering invitations to the galaxy's best to come enjoy the facilities on the East Side; also making it a great tool to gain favor with potential allies and business partners. But what would be the point of a facility on the water fall if you could not have the great view? From multiple vantage points around the facility, you can look over the waterfall and the greenery below; even able to see the shores of the ocean in the distance.

East Side Penthouse and Living Quarters

The living quarters on the East Side are not just for distinguished guests, but also for employees. As you can see in the picture of the East Side, the facility rises up the side of a mountain's peak. In all, the facility is thirteen stories tall and the entire thirteen stories of the East Side are devoted to guest and employee housing. Some call working at Spaarti Headquarters a dream job as employees are treated to the same quality rooms (2,)as the guests (a ploy by Ethan to ensure that all employees are kept as happy as possible to avoid corporate espionage). These rooms are even complete with bedrooms with holotechnology, letting the guests and off-world employees to slip with the sounds and sights of their home planet out the "window" Security on the East Side is relaxed heavily when compared to the West Side where offices and production space are held. All one needs to have to move freely about the area is a Guest I.D that allows them access to every room in the East Sector (excluding the rooms of other employees and/or guests).

Employees can pay a monthly rent that is automatically deducted from their earnings if they wish to live at the headquarters, otherwise they are allowed to rent rooms for the days they will be staying for a discounted charge. Guests are automatically given a night free, with every consecutive night costing a rental fee. It is almost as if the entire East Side of the facility is a hotel rather than company headquarters, but maintenance is low as the facility is staffed with maintenance droids and staff are expected to maintain their own living space. The company actually saves money by deducting rents and other payments from employees for their living space and guests frequently pay to experience what the East Side has to offer.

Ethan himself stays in the most luxurious of the rooms at the peak of the summit on the East Side. This room is tightly secured with twenty-four hour surveillance from two OOM droids outside the door as well as security monitoring of the windows; which are ray and particle shielded to prevent assassination of Ethan or any guests he is entertaining. This room is also the only place in the East Side where someone can enter directly into the West Side. A secret room in Ethan's wall allows him to enter and exit his office on the West Side whenever he wishes by confirming a DNA and password check.

West Side Offices, Labs & Security

The West side of the facility is a sharp contrast to the East side. For starters, the outside of the facility does not have the mass amount of luxury scenery that the East holds. Instead, there is a single catwalk on the ground level that is the only means of access into the West Side from the outside. This single entrance leads into a long hallway known as the "Mirage Corridor". This corridor is a three meter long room lined with panels displaying employees at work in the offices to distract guests from the fact that they are being scanned by a series of sensors and x-rays for signs of weapons, bombs, mutations, espionage equipment and the like that can endanger the corporation. At the end of the hall visitors are met with a small security office and a Durasteel blast door where they are then scanned by a security official (who is nearby a Ysalamir egg) with a Force Sensor (Thus allowing security to detect persons who may have the ability to tamper with the minds of employees). This whole process is closely monitored by personnel at the Security Station on the twelfth floor of the facility.

First, Second and Third Floor

When you first make it past the West Side Security you will enter Spaarti Lobby the main grounds of the facility. This is where you can find restaurants, lunchrooms, restrooms and Human Resources that are all for employees only; or guests who have been given access to the West Sector. An elevator in the back of the room gives access to all thirteen floors in the West Sector and is the only way to move up or down in this side of the facility. This ensures that you cannot break into the West Sector and move about unhindered, it forces you to use the elevator shaft. The elevator is secured by a heavy duty durasteel blast door that is resistant to explosives and impervious to most blaster fire. Furthermore, in order to get onto any floor, you must have an access card imprinted with confirmed DNA. Employees and guests alike are restricted to certain floors. Employees generally can only access floors they need to for their work and guests are usually restricted to floors they need access to for business. Every card usually has restrictions on when they can access certain floors or certain rooms.

The Second floor is reserved for customer service representatives and is full of nothing but cubicles and is headed by a Customer Service Manager. This floor has no access to important information and has the most relaxed security of all the floors. The third floor is also pretty unimportant as it holds only sales data and the marketing division for the corporation; again a very lax security with no blast doors.

Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Floors

The Fourth floor is where the security is kicked up as this floor houses financial data and projections on profits. While the floor itself has no access to direct funds (thus you cannot steal funds from computers on this floor) it can give opponents information on how the company is doing and what their upcoming products are. Computers on this floor are locked by password and DNA confirmation and the offices of managers are sealed with heavy duty blast doors that require retinal , DNA and password identification to enter. The times at which this floor are accessible is only during the work hours (7am - 5:30pm local time) by anyone other than managers; meaning the elevator will only rise to the floor if you possess a manager's ID.

The Fifth floor houses the storage area for materials needed in production which takes place on the Sixth Floor. This room is highly guarded and can only be accessed during the usual work hours by anybody, meaning the elevator will only rise to this level during those specific hours (the owner of the company is the only exception).

The Sixth Floor is the production facility where finished and tested products are crafted and shipped out, meaning that no blueprints can be stolen from here and only finished products can be found. Security is high and organic employees can only enter during work ours, droids take care of packaging and shipping during night hours. Heavy, blast proof durasteel doors seal over the shipping and production areas during non-work hours.

Seventh, Eighth and Ninth Floors

The seventh floor holds the testing area for new technologies and is highly secured with employees only able to enter during the first three hours of the work day and then the whole floor is sealed off for the rest of the time; except for thirty minute intervals at 12am for lunch. This area is constantly under surveillance and patrolled by OOM droids.

The Eight floor is home to the Spaarti Creations Labs which work to create new technologies. These labs are so sensitive that each team is only ale to work or discuss their work within cubicles which are sealed with blast doors when they are working or not in the room. Only when these doors are closed are the employees allowed to discuss their work, outside discussion is not allowed. This room is constantly surveyed by dozens of OOM droids and all computers run on an enclosed network and have no connection to holonet; even using hardline connections to avoid breakthroughs (also password/DNA locked)

The Ninth Floor hold Spaarti Medical labs where high-profile guests can go for appointments to get appearance reconstruction surgery or volunteer their likeness for the Appearance Database. Security is high here but guests are allowed on the floor based on the times stamped on their guest IDs.

Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Floors

The Tenth floor is home to the Spaarti Cloning facilities where in house clones are crafted for exclusive clients or for the purposes of serving the company. This floor has max security and is secured constant surveillance, dozens of OOM droids, blast door security to exit and enter any room.

The Eleventh Floor is the storage and maintenance area for all security and personnel droids in the building. Whenever a droid goes down, this is where they are stored and fixed. Security is equal to that of the Eleventh Floor.

The Twelfth floor is home to the security offices and quarters for the security personnel. An Armory and breakrooms are also located here as well as several monitors and servers dedicated to electronic security and firewalls.

The Thirteenth Floor

This floor is reserved for Ethan's personal quarters, the company board room and the financial server rooms that log all banking accounts, blueprints and designs deep within a multi-layered security room in the depths of the mountain. This room is secured with two layers of blast doors, both with ID, DNA and Password clearance as well as pressure sensitive plates in the server room that alert security if someone enters without having gone through the blast doors. This is not really a problem as the room is layered on all sides by thick mountain rock that even a nuke would have a hard time blasting through.

This demand eventually led a total of eight anti-air craft railguns posted along the perimeter of the facility.
Could you please link to a factory or canon submission for these defenses?

As well despite the history field being optional you should write N/A instead of removing the field all together. Same with the links field. This is just so we know it's not a mistake and you intentionally chose not fill out the fields.

Otherwise everything else is nicely written and checks out. :)

Good job. This is an excellent submission and based on how much effort went into writing it I see no reason not to stamp this. Just be sure that despite its security that this is not a fortress and any abuse will see this sub revisited.

Pending secondary.
