Description: The Spaartan-class tracker ship is borne from the realization that hyperspace tracking is a useful tool for law enforcement, such as catching pirates or smugglers, as well as for tracking stragglers in their retreat. However, the Spaartan is not one's ordinary EWAR ship: while it was found that its mobility was reduced when its stealth suite was activated, the energy demands of the hyperspace tracking are so high that it cannot activate the hyperspace tracker and the stealth suite simultaneously. The experimental nature of hyperspace tracking made it so that only a limited number of units could be built, and, because of the limited number of units, ERA was outfitted on each of them. It can also penetrate interdiction fields thanks to the HIMS being outfitted. And yet, it still remains lightly armed.
