Souls of Steel

Soldiers of the Zenith Imperium needed weapons and armor to continue their goals and that was something Durza could help with. But the design of such armor could not be done on Zenith, oh no! Their was no one who knew power armor like the Necropsi did and their secrets were guarded well. Necropsi technology came only from one place, The Necris. A space station far in the unknown reigns of space.

Waiting on his Corvette the tall Necropsi Savant waited for [member="Alexander Ontonas"] to join him on the coming journey. If otheres wished to join they could but time was of the essence. The back ramp of the ship was open letting several other savants on board in preparation for the crafting and smiting that was to come.

" Brothers where we go your tools will not be needed. The Necris has everything you need.."

The Necropsi were an odd xeno race. When a number of their kind had pledged themselves to the Imperium, Alexander had been taken aback. It was not that he did not wish for their support, but their odd appearances. They hailed from many different species, but one could hardly tell considering the technology they welded to their fleshy forms.

The Technocracy was going to love them.

The Imperator drew in a deep breath as he strode onto the ship, standing a full head above the tall Necropsi in his war-gear. He looked down upon this odd one called [member="Durza the Zealous"]. Alexander had not found the time to form an opinion of the Necropsi as of yet, but when help with the Imperium's flagging technological pursuits was offered, he had jumped to accept.

"Your Necris must be impressive if it can supply everything these men need," he gestured toward the savants. Pools of radiant blue set in a heavy-browed helmet stared down at Durza. Alexander had made a point to wear his experimental suit -- Durza towered over him otherwise.

Plate-bound hands rose up to remove the helm. Alex's usually brooding countenance was broken by a good-natured grin. "I hope they're everything you say they are, Durza."

This station is… Iratus’ thoughts on the place stopped there, he couldn’t think of a way to describe what he saw before him. Iratus probably never would’ve known about the species if he hadn’t been tracking Alexander since the ceremony held on Zenith Prime. There had rarely been an individual in the galaxy that Iratus dedicated so much time to shadowing. The phantom that followed Alexander was translucent and had been around him since the ceremony with minor breaks in between where Iratus spent time resting from the draining nature of the ability. He’d spent many days examining the human. Every move he made, when he slept, what he ate. All of it stored within Iratus’ mind.

Alexander was a man of great vision in Iratus’ eyes. Not many had come forward proclaiming what the warrior had. He wanted to bring peace to the galaxy, but was willing to become the villain the galaxy needed to do such a thing. Many preached that they would do the same, Sith, Jedi. They all wanted to change the galaxy in one way or another, but they did not look within to do it. They always looked outwards and were never willing to do what was necessary. Even now the Sith were being beaten back and the Jedi were splintered.

If the body had been visible one would’ve been able to see the smile on its face. Hovering behind Alexander and the abomination of technology Iratus continued to watch.

" What you see is what you get my... Friend. Just beware, the Necropsi Species is very xenophobic. Which is why I am coming with you." He chuckled some and with he snap of his fingers a nearby Savant closed the back ramp. " I must put in the coordinates to the space station. The journey may be longer than normal. Were going into unexplored territory." The Necropsi walked away with a hunch in his back. It did not talk too long for him to put in the coordinates but still it take more time than normal. Entering the main lobby once the ship jumped into Hyperspace, Durza took a seat on a rather tough leather couch.

" Tell me about this armor you want made, Do you have designs or blueprints for it?" he asked looking at [member="Alexander Ontonas"]

The specter went entirely without notice. Alexander was everything a Jedi was not. The force did not only reject his call -- it fled from him. He was abnormal; a blank. The light of the ethereal realm did not touch his soul. Such was the result of his parentage, a trait few expected to pass down the family line.

And yet it had.

Clad in his armor, Alexander took up two of the seats across from Durza. He carried his shacklebolt rifle and his greatsword Worldbreaker. The blade was taller than most mortal men, and most would have extreme difficulty wielding it outside of power armor. Alex had great troubles doing so, though he managed. Within the coil of his armor, however, the sword felt as light as a lightsaber. He reached down to tap his plate-bound fingers along its hilt and nodded to Durza.

"Xenophobic powers are something I've a share of experience with." He snickered, "You need not worry. As for the armor...we've been working on a general design. Something similar to my own. Enhances the strength of the warrior tenfold, whilst providing impeccable protection from most ballistic and energy weapons."

He grinned. "Suffice to say, a very tall order, but a necessary one. Our warriors need every tool at their disposal when dealing with the sorcerous powers."

With the door sliding shut and sealing him within the ship, Iratus raised a brow. He would be trapped on the ship while they traveled through hyperspace and if he left now it would be nearly impossible to find them again while they're in hyperspace. So he moved to stand behind the Necropsi that spoke with Alexander. Examining the creature Iratus was encaptured by the complexity of its body. The necropsi seemed to be more machine than sentient... Were they something inbetween? A being that could live forever as long as there was one to fix it while having emotions as other human's do? Completely perplexing how there was such a species in the galaxy. Almost a perversion of the natural order. What Iratus wouldn’t give to examine the creatures closer and trying to see how they came to be. What part they played in the force, and how he could make them his own.

You would know all about Xenophobia wouldn’t you? Iratus thought looking back at Alexander. The man who had proclaimed that they would destroy not only the Sith or Jedi but all religions. The Jedi and Sith Iratus could agree with, but all religions? It was something to think about, but not something he could completely agree with. It was better to use them than destroy.

Walking behind Alexander and placing his spectral hand on the large man’s shoulder Iratus would lean forward to whisper in the man’s ear. “Do you truly think your technology can combat the powers of the force. That you and your men alone could combat the Sith and Jedi without others like them?” It was a statement that made Iratus chuckle. While Force Users could be defeated one would need more than just technology and be dead to the force.

Location: The Necris

" Perhaps a upgrade is in order then." Durza examined [member="Alexander Ontonas"] armor fully, his cybernetic eyes enhancing his vision to the nth degree. The armor was of a fine quality and Durza could vouch for the combative effectiveness but ... the inner workings and systems were outdated when compared with the technology his own species possessed. Durza looked to the side and tilted his head thinking about his own kind and how they would react to this small welcome party. The thought disturbed his mind slightly. Knowing what could happen was odd, yet Durza did not care as much as he thought he would.

The Corvette jolted roughly as it exited hyperspace in the deep unknown regions. Standing to his feet Durza shifted his gaze to the command deck and began sprinting to the communication system. Red lights flashed letting everyone know someone had locked onto the corvette they stood in. " Move!" Pushing a Savant aside the Necropsi ripped the comm away and began shouting to the Necris control.

" Den ghey Durza wokel Pervreae! Bresecae Haliroe ledar 237238918 - 125412415121 - 1241241212. Mov ri min le vae vidai pkoe sufer Denochs gylerl!" He exclaimed in Proto-Basic. Was amazing how he could remember such a long code. In the view port a massive space station could be seen in the shape of a rather creepy skull. Watching the weapons untarget the vessel Durza relaxed some.

" Welcome to the Necris..." He dropped the mic roughly to the ground and crossed his arms
