• Pre-Programmed Security Warning Message - Each SE-MKI is capable of holding up to five prerecorded warning messages that it can broadcast when a sentient life-form enters its area of operation. These can often range from a simple "Halt" command, up to a limited directive such as "Leave the Area" or "You are Trespassing".

• Internal Recording Device / Storage - Hidden at the core of each SE-MKI is a protected memory core that contains the last recordings of the droid (this recording is often over written every fifteen minutes and holds a recording of the previous fifteen minutes). This is done as a means to ensure that even if the droid were destroyed, it would still be able to tell investigators (or the owner of the droid) the identity of the individual that destroyed the droid.

• 57C Holocam Interface - Much of the capabilities of these droids can also be seen in the older 57C series Holocams; and in fact these droids serve a similar role in a strictly observe and report sense. It is this collection of audio and visual matrices that provide a clear and concise visual and audio detailing of the events around the droid.

• Unleash the Swarm - With a relatively low cost of production and thus low price, consumers are capable of purchasing handfuls of these droids with little damage to their wallets. In fact many security minded individuals purchases 'swarms' of the SE-MKIs to fulfill security roles that would otherwise have been out of their means with the more expensive droids on the market.

• ​Memory Core Shielding - The memory core that is contained within the SE-MKI is more heavily armored than the rest of the droid to ensure that it is not damaged if the droid is destroyed.

• Fragile - While the SE-MKI looks sturdy enough, it is actually not as robust in construct as many other droids. This is due to their primary focus being on a monitoring focus rather than an actual secure and detain focus.

• Low Grade Stun Blaster - While each droid has a stun blaster, its low yield means that it is otherwise useless against larger groups of individuals. Even in those rare cases of one on one contact, it is not guaranteed that the stun blaster will stun the individual.

• EMP / Ion Vulnerability - The droid has no means of shielding that would permit it to survive after being struck by an EMP or Ion Weaponry. Likewise any data on the memory core of the droid would be wiped clean after just a blow from the above mentioned conditions.

There has always been a need for security, however there has also been the question of cost and efficiency. For many the cost of a blaster is all the security they need; while others focus on the extreme, spending millions if not billions of credits on layer after layer of security. Though there are those few who straddle the middle, not sure if they should simply buy a blaster, or shell out all they can.

Sorenn-Syrush Industries proudly presents a bridge between those two extremes...

The Sorenn-Syrush Industries Security Eye Mark I...

A simple enough design and construction, the SSI-SE-MKI is a spherical droid that hovers off the ground, moving along with the terrain. Its spherical body is filled with all the needed visual and audio suites to provide for a concise detailing of the events around the droid. Likewise its internal recording and storage device ensures that even if the droid were to be destroyed, a datalog of the last fifteen minutes is retained. Now of course these droids aren't as sturdy as many others on the market, though it is their cheap and rapid production that is a strength.

However that cheap and rapid production is also a weakness, as seen in the simple fact that only a couple of blasts from a low yield blaster can display these droids. Testing has even shown that slugthrowers can easily tear through the thin outer armor and wreak havoc on the delicate internal instruments. None the less, they have seen great results in the deployment of multiple 'swarms' of the SE-MKI and the company is even considering releasing a more militarized (and strengthened) version in the future.

Looking through I noticed you said this:

If the droid is fragile and can be destroyed by even a low yield blaster how can this memory core withstand such damage? If the memory core is that strong list it as a strength.

Also, what kind of resistance would this have against Ion or EMP. Does this memory core shielding withstand those attacks?

While I love ED-E please make sure this sub doesn't use the same types of terms or language as used in the Fallout universe. Influences are fine, knock offs are not. If you have any means into making this little guy perform a bit differently that would work. Go through your features just to make sure nothing is copied verbatim and make whatever it does Star Wars adjacent (e.g. holo-transmitter, hyperlink comm, etc, etc).

Other than that this looks fine.

I've done my best to go through and make sure that all terminology and vocabulary is in line with those terms used in Star Wars. Likewise, with its intended purpose, it is taking much of its inspiration from the Eyebots of Fallout 4. To this end I've checked over the submissions multiple times to ensure that it is not a pure copy paste (though as I am human, I may have error and missed something).
