• Adjustable Weapon Sling - Each rifle comes with an adjustable sling of Ankarak Leather. This allows an individual wielder to properly ensure that the weapon sits comfortably when shouldered or being handled in the field.

• Flip-up Rear Sight - At the rear of the weapon is located the Flip-up Rear Sight - a small piece of metal etched with additional ranges - that can potentially aid the individual wielding the weapon in zeroing in on their target.

Strengths:

• Durability - The weapon is incredibly durable, capable of being dropped, run over by light weight vehicles, or even caked in mud - and still capable of firing.

• Rapid Cycling - A skilled wielder with this weapon is capable of firing multiple blasts in quick succession. Though not capable of fully automatic firing as seen in many other rifles - if the trigger is fanned quickly enough - the bolts can be fired in rapid succession, thus permitting the greatest amount of fire available to those utilizing this weapon.

Weaknesses :

• Inaccurate - While capable of firing great distances, it is wildly inaccurate beyond its effective firing range of 457 meters. Beyond this range, the shot begins to degrade - due to a mixture of weather conditions, enemy movement, and other factors that would otherwise adversely affect the blaster bolt.

• Prone to Overheating - Due to its rapid cycling capability, the weapon has a tendency to overheat from quick successive firing.

• Cling - The weapon has a unique and albeit annoying quirk. When the last shot is fired, the clip is ejected with a tell tale 'cling' noise. Though at times difficult to hear on a battlefield, this can alert certain individuals nearby that the wielder of the weapon is in the process of reloading their weapon.

The Commenor Series I Blaster Rifle is the first in a line of Commenor Series weapons to be produced by Sorenn-Syrush Industries specifically for the use of Commenor and its affiliated Subfactions and allies.

A simple blaster rifle in many regards, the Commenor Series I is intended to serve in a specific role - that being assigned to and equipped - for those often deployed in the Line Formations of the Commenor Systems Alliance military formations. The weapon is designed to be durable, capable of absorbing abuse and still serving in its designed function. Likewise it is capable of rapidly cycling through - laying down a more rapid series of shots - the power cells.

However there are some drawbacks to the weapon, specifically its inaccuracy. While it is a capable weapon, it does have a problem with accuracy beyond a certain point, often causing one to take more time to line up such shots and even then it is not likely to hit. Additionally, its rapid cycling capability causes it to be more prone to overheating when used in rapid succession - often by the time the weapon has fired around 20 shots in this manner - the barrel becomes visible distressed.

Even with its drawbacks, those few whom have already had a chance to utilize the weapon - mainly in training and not in actual combat - have found it to be reliable when called upon.
