APPEARANCE:
Soren usually wears a white robe of cloth and leather, a light armor with light grey and some golden details and highlights. His left side is covered in a cybernetics, the reward for his service in the war against the Bryn'adûl.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born into poverty in the heart of the Galaxy, Soren was taken in by a Jedi Enclave at a very early age, his Force sensitivity being very apparent and strong. He did not remember who his parents were, except that they were full of gratitude that he was taken, his mother in tears, she was still happy about the relief. She and her husband had four more children, all older, to take care of.
His training as youngling was webbed with the struggles of the Galaxy, but somehow Dar managed to remain very stable, mostly due to a very social and friendly nature which made him win trust and friends alike. During his childhood he progressed steadily, even though with changing masters and even changing affiliations of the Enclave, the real Jedi teachings of the original Jedi of the Old Republic never were abandoned.
But war is inevitable and sooner than later it catches up, doing what it always does: destroying. In his first year as a padawan, the academy where the enclave was currently training, was attacked by Dark Jedi and worse. Except for Soren and a single Knight, who lost both eyes and a leg in the battle, nobody survived. Yet it wasn´t as much of a turning point as one would suggest for the young Jedi. His character was stronger and he pushed on, together with the invalid knight who continued to teach him.
They moved on and eventually joined the Silver Jedi. Soren completed his training here, despite the slight difference between his mentality and the Silver Jedi mentality, he slowed moved more and more onto a middle ground. His diplomatic and friendly personality helped him, a lot. Empathy bringing him friends and allies alike as well as progress.
It was later when he specialised in his training. Developing to what would be a Jedi Guardian, he became a powerful swordsman. Indeed being able to utilise emotions, strong but very controlled and moved himself to study and embrace the philosophy of Vaapad.
As a generally social person, it did not take long until the travelling Soren picked up a droid who would accompany him from now on. It was once a commando droid, but was more or less stripped off its primary function and protocols and now a bastard of astromech, protocol and battle droid. His name is SU-R0C.
