Description: The standard close-ranged weapon for the Black Sun, the 175 fires a high-intensity sonic blast powerful enough to shatter most unarmored objects and cause devastating injuries targets though armor can reduce the effect of a direct hit. A variable setting can set the spread of the blast from one concentrated enough to shatter solid objects and cause small impact craters the size of a spread hand, to a wide cone that's merely acts like the common stun setting of most blaster-based weaponry. The advantage being, that despite its shorter range and lower ammo count, the sonic blast generated cannot be blocked by a lightsaber due to the nature of the attack and its spread.
Standard attachments include an under-barrel light, a holo-dot scope, and a popular side mounted handle used to brace the weapon for firing.
