Office of Colonel of the Omega Pyre Noah C. Corek
Noah sighed as he looked over the casualty reports again. Three companies, about three hundred and sixty of the best and brightest Pyre troopers dead and they didn't even die in combat. The only emotion that could be described by Noah at this point was anger. Anger at Cater, anger at the Sith and anger at everything. Three hundred and sixty of his men, of men he had been assigned to lead and shepard into battle were dead and he hadn't even been there with them in the end. He looked over the individuals in the reports, some of these men Noah had known personally, they were good guys, no matter what anyone said about the Pyre and their mercenary tendencies, most Pyre soldiers were in it for more then the money, they were in it to find a place they could belong and exist without the fear of being trodded on by the bigger governments. "Sir?" Noah looked up from his reports and saw that his secretary Lisa, a short and thin brunette with green eyes, had opened the door and was looking at. "Yes?" Noah asked simply as he reached over and took a sip of stimcaf from his cup. "A CorSec Lieutenant wants to see you." Noah just nodded as he gulped down his sip and looked up at her. "Well send her in. Maybe she'll be a distraction from all this sorrow and grief." Noah told Lisa, who just frowned and nodded knowing not to try and cheer him up when he was in a state like this.
