Some questions about avatars

So where did most of you get your avatars? I've been looking around the internet and can't find anything good. Any suggestions?

I like using deviant art for a lot of mine There are lots of super talented artists.

deviantArt and Artstation are two really good sites for finding artwork for your characters, if that's the way you'd like to go. If you find an image you like, you could request somebody to make an avatar for you here for example.

[member="Jai Katan"] If you're boring and simple like me, which I'm sure you're not, just good old Google searches for a character/actor/person and some Microsoft Word added borders do the trick.

BUT as everyone has said, there's a dedicated Art & Design forum here with lots of talent who can spruce up your Avs with custom effects and borders.

Don't be afraid to ask for assistance or help.
