Some nights

I grabbed my coat from the seat next to me and made my way of the shuttle into the ever grimy spaceport. I was home, Nar Shaddaa. I clutched my coat, then loosened my grip and put it on. It wasn't cold outside, but if i lost my coat now i'd never see it again. I strolled out onto the taxi pad and asked for a ride to the casino. A few minutes later i was stepping out into a large skyscraper, the casino, and the only place i could spend my ill gotten money. I walked to the bar and sat down, the bartender must have recognized me because im a lowlife in a crowd of other low lives. "Hey man what can i do for you, you look a bit down on your luck. Is this about them friends of yours, they've been dead for months, get over it." he said bluntly. i grabbed in by the collar and stabbed him in the gut with my dew claw. "Nobody talks about my damn friends! Kapeesh?" I yelled at him, my entire body sweating vigorously. the bartender chuckled with his last breath, "Haha, at.. at least my friends aren't.. dead..." he croaked as two bouncers approched me. I pulled out my claw and lunged towards the first bouncer, tearing a hole throw his chest, poor man. I let him collapse and noticed the panic in the room, people were drawing weapons and calling authorities, some even hid under tables and behind slot machines. I was in big trouble.

Jade was quietly sitting at one of the back tables sipping on her Corellian ale. She was on Nar Shaddaa on special Jedi business which had not long ago been concluded and had decided to pop in to one of the local casinos before embarking on her journey back to Coruscant. Suddenly she noticed the bartender who has just served her yelp and drop dead. Attacked by some clawed low life creature. "Here's trouble dammit. So much for taking a break", she cursed under her breath. By the time she had jumped up, the clawed creature had managed to also attack and down one of the bouncers. "Must be a damn professional", she said to herself. In a flash, Jade dashed over behind him, lightsabre in hand and ready. "Hey Mr, don't move, turn around slowly, hands in the air. I'm placing you under arrest!".

[member="Omi Rin"]

"Hey there miss Jedi, I don't need you to be here right now, but I'm always looking for a fight. Some nights I just wanna have fun." I said shrugging off the fact that I was being held up at the point of a lightsaber. "Isn't it against Jedi laws to kill people? 'Cuz what if I just walk outta here right now, what would you do, slice me in half?" I stepped over the dead bodies and around the terrified patrons, determined to make it out alive. I slipped my claws back into my wrist and waved goodbye, "If you'd be so kinda, I'm going to steal an air speeder, and you're going to chase my, I havn't got enough action today. He said strolling out the door.

"Hey get back here now!". Kixi snarled at the assassin. She used a Force pull to drag him back inside and threw him towards the bar where the dead bartender lay. "No I'm not going to kill you, like I said you're under arrest. We can either do this the easy way or the hard way. Personally I think it's best for your sake that you choose the easy way", Kixi stood there, lightsabre in hand and waited.

In the bar, only one person hadn't moved while the fighting started. Grace just sat there, slowly turning to where the bartender lay dead. "Well, i guess that's my last drink." Slowly standing, she was one of the few to not move to leave. She just stood there, taking another drink, watching as [member="Omi Rin"] and [member="Cynna Jade Sunrider"] entered a confrontation. The Force pull seemed a bit harsh, but if it worked, that could be painful. She would step to the side to avoid the showering debris if the creature came slamming down. A small smile crossed her lips. "I don't suppose you two would be willing to talk this out? I was so enjoying the drink."

With that, the Vahla Sprang away from the pair, out of reach from any swing. "Or do I get drinks and a show." With the galaxy as it was, the conclusion was almost certain. This was Shaddaa, after all. Here, there was Chaos.

Jade turned her head slightly to acknowledge the Vahla who clearly demonstrated she could be more than a match for her own abilities if she decided to intervene. Although she appeared to be more interested in just watching. Jade could feel the dark side in her and knew if she were to take sides, that it wouldn't be hers. "This man just killed 3 innocent people for absolutely no good reason. I don't want to kill him, I just want to detain him until the authorites arrive. They can take it from there". Jade turned her head around again to where assassin was behind the bar and kept the Vahla in her peripheral vision. She stood there and waited but knew that this wasn't going to be easy. Especially if the Vahla took his side.

"Authorities? Do you even know the planet you're on?" Grace smiled. this was not a place to be controlled, or ruled. It was a place best left to fester. Everyone who had owned it learned that the hard way. "Even if they come, you may be in as deep as him. The Techno Union only cares about money, and I doubt you have more than him." She started walking around the bar, pulling out a bottle of ale and pouring herself a glass. Her eyes never left the pair as she did. Although, maybe she could have some fun with them.

"What makes you think any authorities that come can handle him? He's managed to take down armed men. How much better will they fare?"

[member="Cynna Jade Sunrider"] [member="Omi Rin"]

Jade breathed slowly and calmly as she acknowledged the Vahla. She had a point. No one cared around here and the only person who could handle this particular assassin at the moment was probably herself. But she didn't want to kill him, it wasn't the Jedi thing to do, and she doubted the assassin would actually cooperate with her once he got up from behind the bar.

Jade turned to the Vahla and spoke softly but stirnly. "So what do you suggest I do with him, he just killed two people and being a Jedi I can't exactly turn a blind eye". Jade lifted an eyebrow as she made her suggestion knowing the Vahla would probably see it as nothing more than sarcasm, but then again she had seen many things she didn't expect to see in her life.

[member="Grace Darkson"], [member="Omi Rin"]

"I'm not saying you should turn a blind eye" Grace replied, pouring another glass and offering it to [member="Cynna Jade Sunrider"]. Her eyes darted to the figure on the floor. [member="Omi Rin"] was starting to stir. She could sense his mind turning, starting to move. She considered nudging him, but she didn't want to run the risk of alerting the Jedi of her powers. But if he was to get up, it may help her. "I'm just saying that the standard thugs may not be able to handle him." Taking another sip, she just eyed the glass for a bit. The Jedi would hopefully get the point she was trying to make. Disenfranchisement was always good to stir up.

Jade took the glass the vahla had just poured and nodded in acceptence as she took a quick sip, yet eyes still sharply trained at the assassin. Jade quickly twisted her neck allowing her long permed hair to fling behind her. She could sense the vahla trying to hide something from her, yet she couldn't figure our what it was. Speaking in a deep voice she suggested to the vahla, "I see your point, however you seem proficient as one that can hold her own in a fight. Can you cuff him and hand him over to someone that can lock him up for a while, only until I can get authorities from the Republic here to come and get him". She frowned as she finsihed speaking, also holding a pair of binders in her other hand offering them to the vahla. She knew the vahla would probably decline her suggestion, however her real intent was to find out what it was that she was hidiing and holding back.

Nar Shaddaa. A planet that Tugoro had spent a majority of his Jedi career upon, after being exposed to the disgusting lifestyle in which the inhabitants lived by. Zaren Bouqi had first inspired the youth to aid in stopping the rampant crime, by taking his Padawan to many illegal operations in which they promptly shut down. Tugoro had also taken some time to train with The Dark Man, who had taught him much in the time they were together. Though, the most useful thing by far that had been passed down to the Knight, was the location of Nar Shaddaa's Jedi Enclave. A safe haven for all Jedi that found themselves stuck on Nar Shaddaa, at least to those that knew of it's existence.

It was a useful hide out, and Tugoro had used it many times to temporarily house criminals after capturing them. Thinking back to his Padawan days brought a smile to the young man's face, as he leaned forward and dropped from a building's ledge. He had been surveying the area in secrecy, and now noticed the disturbance that was nearby. Focusing his vast force energy, the Jedi would begin to concentrate and expel it as a telekinetic force from his feet, causing him to literally soar through air high above the many establishments within the Undercity.

Touching down in front of the cantina or whatever it was, Tugoro would ignore the stares of those around him on the streets. Like they had never seen anyone fly before. Entering through the doorway, the young Knight would cast a glance around the room, noticing the bodies before anything else. The scene before him was something else, for Tugoro had never expected to see another light sider and dark sider getting along swell. It brought a brief smile to his face as he approached, remembering the friends he used to have at the temple on Ossus. Glancing down to his robotic hand, the youth would be reminded of specific names. He did often wonder what had happened to Anarya and Lupe, Kian less for he knew the Keldor was busy.

Stepping between [member="Cynna Jade Sunrider"] and [member="Grace Darkson"], Tugoro would look over the bar's counter, spotting [member="Omi Rin"] who still seemed to be unconscious. Slowly craning his neck to face the other Knight, the young man would open his mouth, questioning the older woman. "Shouldn't you take him to the Enclave?" He spoke, lifting an arm to point at the unconscious man, as if he needed to be pointed out. Once again slowly turning, Tugoro remembered that a dark sider was present. Yeah, he probably shouldn't have said that.

Jade took one step back as the newcomer entered the bar between her and the vahla. She seemed confused. At two things. "Sorry did you say the Enclave?, what in the name of the Force is that"? Jade clearly looked confused and lost. She made it obvious to all that she was an outsider. "Excuse my ignorance, but I'm clearly a foreigner around here, infact its my first time here. I was simply stopping past here after a business meeting and thought I would relax a little before embarking for my return to Coruscant". Despite the situation she was in, Jade spoke firmly and with confidence, she had been in similar if not worse situations before, and the newcomer was clearly a Jedi of the light like herself, so should the situation escalate, at least she knew she would have backup.

"Oh and you said you probably shouldn't have said that, why"? Jade shook her head in confusion. Although she suspected something not right about the vahla, she had not sensed the dark presence in her. The vahla was being extremely cautious at hiding it and thus far had managed to deceive Jade. "What is this Enclave I should be knowing about and if it's somewhere where we can take that murderer over there to in custody then let us do so. Oh and is it just me, but something isn't quite right with her?", she finished off saying to the newcomer nodding her head in to direction of the vahla.

Tugoro's brow would arch upwards in surprise, as he once more turned to face [member="Cynna Jade Sunrider"]. He had passively listened while she explained her situation of being an outsider, but what had really piqued his interest was one of her last comments. He hadn't expected the woman to be able to read his surface thoughts, it was something that not a lot of people were capable of doing. He wouldn't let it happen again. Either way, he wouldn't comment on it, for he didn't want to offend [member="Grace Darkson"] who was right beside him. "It is just you, and half the galaxy," Tugoro spoke, replying to Jade's remark about something not being right with Grace.

The Knight had nearly spent his entire career exploring the galaxy, encountering many Sith Lords and Masters alike, all that possessed different views and philosophies of the force. Even though Tugoro was a faithful follower of the Galactic Republic, he wasn't about to start slaughtering every Sith he saw. He preferred to first understand them. The young man's prowess in the force enabled his powers to have great effect, he was able to sense even the most subtle of things. "I can take you and him there." Tugoro would offer to Jade, glad to have another Jedi at the Enclave. Ever since Ekul's death, the place had been empty.

Jade was really curious abut this Enclave. She hadn't seen many good things on this planet so far during her short visit and was eager to see something of worth. "Okay then. Take me there. And him too", she pointed to the still unconscious assassin behind the bar. "She faced the vahla once more, "If you don't object in us doing so, we'll be trotting off now". Jade frowned at the vahla as she turned back at the Jedi and spoke. "So what is your name? I'm Cynna Jade Sunrider, but you can just call me Jade".

A slight sigh would escape the youth's lips, as he flipped himself over the bar counter, onto the other side. Looks like he had to carry the guy. Crouching down onto the floor, Tugoro would scoop his arms under [member="Omi Rin"]'s unconscious body, hoping there was no resistance. Slinging the man over his shoulder, the Knight would turn back to [member="Cynna Jade Sunrider"], giving her a smile as she introduced herself. "Knight Tugoro Taidarious. Maybe you've heard of me." The Jedi spoke, seeming quite smug and proud for one of his age. The young man had done much throughout his two year career as a Jedi, and if Jade was any sort of space jockey she might have heard a bit about Tugoro.

Seeing as he had been the leader of the Antarian Rangers when he was only a Padawan. Not that it had been a good decision, but the Jedi could not deny that he had the skill and equipment for such a role. He really wanted to lead his own squadron someday, but that was another story. "We have to get to the Corellian and Refugee sector first. It'll be quick, just keep up." The Jedi spoke, giving [member="Grace Darkson"] a brief nod. He felt sort of bad for coming and taking away her company. Maybe they would return afterwards, if the woman decided to stick around long enough. Turning from the duo completely, Tugoro would head out the door, leaping up into the air and landing on top of the building's roof. From there, he would break into a force enhanced sprint, going at a decent pace as he traversed the rooftops.

Just before Tugoro had leaped away and on his way, Jade managed to quickly answer his question. "I'm afraid to say that I have not heard of you before Tugoro. I'm a bit of a veteran. I flew for a Republic fighter squadron called Hellfire Squadron many years ago. We used to fly Imperial fighter crafts against the Imperials themselves. However I've retired from active duty for the Republic a long time ago. Nowadays I just go where the Jedi Council sends me, usually on business errands, very little fighting". Jade sighed a bit as she missed the old days as a professional fighter pilot. "Anyway you can tell me all about yourself Tugoro when we get to where we are going. I'm interested in hearing all about how a young fine lad such as yourself as achieved so much at such a young age. You sort of remind me of me 10 years ago".

Jade gave a quick informal salute to the vahla by putting one finger on her forehead, "Well I'll be tootling along now, ta-ra". Jade gave the vahla a quick fake smile and was out the door and had jumped into the air atop a rooftop following the same Jedi she had just spoken to moments ago. Using the Force she sprinted with him, keeping up with him to wherever he was taking her.

After exiting the cantina, Tugoro would make his way up throughout the Undercity, hopping from building to building in order to increase his altitude. Due to their force enhanced speed, the young Knight and [member="Cynna Jade Sunrider"] would arrive at the Enclave relatively fast,coming across a massive opening in the city that dropped down into the Refugee and Corellian sectors. Even further upwards, was a bridge that stuck out into the air, the rest of it blocked off by the many structures that surrounded the area. Pushing off of the duracrete rooftop, the Jedi would expel a stream of telekinesis from his feet and hands, allowing him to cut swiftly through the dark 'sky' and towards the Enclave entrance.

Landing upon the bridge, Tugoro would look up at the establishment, which looked to be some sort of abandoned warehouse. It had been, in all truths, but now it had been renovated into something far greater. Crouching down, the youth would drop [member="Omi Rin"], not bothering to take him inside. The Knight still had work to do, for the mission was never over. "Here it is. Come here whenever, just keep it a secret." Tugoro would warn, glad that others might be frequenting the place.

Jade hesitated a moment as Tugoro dropped Omi Rin on the ground. "Um we can't just leave him there? If he wakes up, he'll not only run, but he'll reveal the location of this place". Jade seemed a little annoyed as she spoke. This Jedi was good for his age, very good for that matter, yet he had just demonstrated a lack of care. "The cunningness of youth"' she sighted to herself. "I assume you have some kind of holding cell in there for our pal", she continued with a slight frown as she slightly pointed her head in the direction of Omi who was lying unconscious on the cold ground. "And others capable of dealing with him to for that matter?"

(I take a day to go to the doctor and everything in the thread changes)

Grace gave a little sigh as she watched the pair of Jedi leave the bar. She quietly waited, her eyes watching the clock. When five minutes had passed, the officers arrived. "What happened here?" The detective asked, looking around at the scene before him. "It looks like some sort of hit."

"It was, officer, but I doubt it was sanctioned. Big alien came in and stabbed them with some sort of hidden blade. Got knocked unconscious and taken into custody by a pair of Jedi."As she said that, the detective and the officers exchanged looks.

"Are you sure?" They asked, seemingly nervous for the first time. "You're sure it was Jedi?"

"Yes, I'm sure. Said they were going to an enclave or something." With that, one of the officers ran out the door, trying to put out a call. "Is there a problem?" She asked, pretending not to know why. Jedi were a Spynet and Obsidion Order alert. They had to call it in.

"Nothing major. Could I get an identification?" This guy was by the books. Interesting. Probably new to the sector. Pulling out an ID card, she handed it to the person. Slowly projecting her face changing as they looked at it. "Tessa Longshadow. Obsidion Order. Anything else, officer?" He shook his head. "Good. Then I'll be on my way." She stood, nodding as the detective thanked her for her help, and walked down the street. Maybe she would have a bit better luck somewhere else. Or maybe she should head home.

Looking to the renovated warehouses entrance, Tugoro would crouch down and grab hold of [member="Omi Rin"]'s arm, dragging him along the catwalk as the door ahead opened. A group of nine soldiers would emerge from the Enclave, six armored and three donning civilian wear. Approaching the trio, the Republic soldiers would give the Knights a firm nod, before taking hold of the injured criminal. Working together to bring Omi onto his feet, the group would return inside, most likely detaining him in the washrooms.

There were no holding cells, but Tugoro was not aware of this. Turning to look at [member="Cynna Jade Sunrider"], the youth would smirk, satisfied now that the problem was solved. "Happy?" He questioned, before pivoting on his heel and walking to the bridges ledge. "We shouldn't stick around for long. What do you know about that woman?" The Jedi would question further, refering to [member="Grace Darkson"].
