When asked about her past, Solace smiles enigmatically. She will openly admit to once being a Jedi Knight and clearly holds affection for that time in her life. At some point in her duties, she was placed into cryo-cycle statis on a medical ship, which was then lost in transit. The ruins of said ship were discovered fairly recently, leaving Solace to emerge in an unfamiliar Galaxy with no contacts or considerations.
Rather than reaching out to any of the current Jedi organisations, Solace has chosen to linger in the Outer Rim and observe. When pressed about her intentions, she admits she is uncertain about the Jedi of this age for her own personal reasons. Nonetheless, she uses her power with the Force to help others, serving as a healer and problem-solver when needed. Rather than advertising her presence, Solace relies on word-of-mouth and rumour to drive people to seek her aid. Her advice often focuses on the petitioner helping themselves, except when it is no longer possible.
Her recent activity has largely been on Outer Rim worlds, with a plentiful amount of time spent on Nar Shaddaa. There, it is said she can be found in a teahouse without a name in the Corellian Sector of the moon.
Solace is a soft-spoken and kind woman who likes to listen. She will empathise openly with those in need and offer what assistance she can. Careful study of her would reveal that her movements, actions and even some expressions are carefully guided, as if formed by constant rehearsal. The scant few who have seen her take action in defence of others would report a change in her behaviour, turning more steely and ruthless when it came time to meet justice.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Solace is a Miralukan. She wears the eye covering typical of her kind, though hers has a structured, almost architectural quality that suggests it was carefully chosen. Fair hair and pale skin gives her a more youthful appearance than one might expect from her affectation. She stands somewhat taller than most of her kind. Her build, though difficult to discern beneath her robes, can be seen to be quite slender.
She is typically clad in robes of dark colours, greys and blacks. The ornamentation of her robes is reminiscent of Jedi from the distant past, showing a mix of High Republic and New Jedi Order iconography.
STRENGTHS
Skilled Healer - Solace's admitted area of expertise is in healing - she displays an excellent understanding of sentient healthcare and practical use of the Force to aid in recovery. Her ability to heal and aid is almost instinctual, an uncanny knack that guides her patients to the best outcomes.
Trained Jedi - It is clear through observation that Solace is a trained practitioner of the Force. Though her training is likely to be distant and archaic compared to modern Jedi, she demonstrates a firm control of the Force when necessary to do so.
Miralukan Perception - As with all of her species, Solace perceives everything through the Force. After many years of use, she is able to use this with extraordinary precision - reading presences, emotional states and intentions. She is able to see much that other Force users may miss.
WEAKNESSES
Institutional Allergy - Solace refuses to operate within any structure that requires deference that she doesn't believe is merited. She will openly disobey orders that she believes are wrong and is not willing to address her concerns in so-called 'proper' ways. Any alliance she forms or group she works with is contingent on her own judgement.
Noticeable Stillness - Though kind enough in conversation, everything about her attitude, behaviour and even word choices display a quality of deliberate construction. It is considered, rather than spontaneous. Those with excellent ability to read and discern others may find themselves uncertain, afterwards, exactly what it was they noticed.
Physical Limitations - Solace will admit that she was never a great duellist or fighting Jedi. She would describe her own skill with a lightsaber as 'middling at best' and regard those practised in duelling with respect. This matches her physical slenderness and the air of advancing age to her.
INVENTORY
Solace appears to travel light. She carries a single-bladed lightsaber with a yellow crystal, which she does not draw attention to. It is usually hidden beneath her outer robe. Her medical equipment is practical and well-maintained; apt for someone who has been doing this for a long time. Whatever else she carries, if anything, she does not advertise.
