ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Strengths:

-Fast and agile, with the newly approved translight repulser engines, the Solace is a very fast and agile vessel, able to rotate a full 360 degrees in under 10 seconds, and around 18 seconds in atmosphere.

-Layered shields, what it lacks in armor, it makes up for in energy shields. The Solace class cruisers have three layers of deflector shields designed to hold out against ships of equal size for more or less a minute of continuous fire.

Weaknesses:

-Loud, the ship's repulse engines emit a really high pitched sound which can be heard several miles away, when in atmosphere of course. Look here.

-High power usage, the engines require a high amount of power to operate, meaning some subsystems often need to be sacrificed.

Description:
The hull of the Solace class cruiser is a master of its design, it is a well balanced ship that is mainly designed as a missile boat then heavy cruiser. It also carries state of the art military communications as well as all forms of counter jamming and communication. Its weapons are most designed along the lines of support and cover then direct intervention. The command deck is located in the center of the ship, and the crew relys on external cameras to get a view of the space around it. This gives the ship a lot more durability in the aspect the the command deck is not easily targeted. The engines are also very powerful and allow for slightly above average speeds and maneuvers, but are incredibly loud and somewhat frightening. For armament, the Solace mounts Heavy Hypervelocity cannons, and Mass Drivers as broadside weapons and many smaller turbolasers to counter smaller ships and starfighters.

If you'd move the point-defense lasers to weapons please (since they can physically damage things).

This looks like it's also one rating over as well, as we don't typically count slow hyperdrives as balancing for other ratings on large ships. With that in mind, you may want to consider raising the hyperdrive to a more average level. As always, to balance this out, you can lower a rating, add a significant weakness, or lower production.
