Social event?

So, with all the amazing creativity of late there is no lack of GR RP threads.
The back side is that we are spread all over to cope with invasions, civil wars, trials, building new bases and what not
With that in mind I figured it best to check in if folks have time and feel it would be fun with a casual/social faction thread with the sole purpose of getting our characters to know each other IC.

Or maybe wait a bit until folk have more time?

Hmmm I forget when it is but why not use canon holidays. Republic day, or either of the two festivals as a faction social event. I remember someone posting the galactic standard calendar. I forget where though. Just a thought!

Along with Festival of Life
and
Festival of Stars
To possible celebratory slash social events

Also as good lady [member="Faith Balor-Organa"] stated we can make up an event as well.

Hell even a whole new festival.
