Coruscant - Black Pyramid
Seraphina had spent months under the supervision of the Sith Lord known as Darth Vornskr. Under his protection and guidance she had slowly begun her re-education of the Sith Order. Having believed to be tortured by the Jedi of the Republic, she vowed to enact vengeance upon them for their capture, torture, and exploitation of her. Her master, as he had referred to himself as Dæva, had been away for some time, leaving her to her study within the confines of the pyramid alone, until his return. The female Twi'lek was still regularly receiving dosages of Ixetal Cilona to sever her connection to the Force. Furthermore, she maintained to wear the shock bracers and anklets that had been affixed to her person in the event of unexpected lashing out due to the trauma she'd suffered under the hands of the Jedi.

The cell she'd been provided allowed her to come and go mostly as she pleased, however it was expected of her to return each night at curfew with a pair of guards posted outside of her door in order to keep her safe from would-be assassins, as well as herself, until such time where her master's medical team could provide a full evaluation on her health and sanity. Understanding the necessity for this, Sera, or rather, Satyijau'ira as she knew herself, happily obliged her master's request. She came to find sleeping easier as time went on, and had been provided with a few books to read, as well as a number of outfits to change in and out of on a semi-daily basis. All things considered, life was starting to look up for her.

Months had gone by since his meeting with Darth Vornskr's spectral visage, the first contact Braxus had with his master since he fell to Gabriel Sionoma on Dromund Kaas. Although time had past since that day and the slaughter of the Seers controlling Kaine's gargantual soldiers, marveling at the sculptures and artworks on the walls of a chamber caked with dust, things thrown all about, and the Holocron that hummed with the power of the dark side. Even after Kaine bequeathed the object to him and bestowed his mark, he knew he already could access the device if he wished.

The Zambrano blood flowing through his veins could not be denied, and it always made him grin each and every day he accessed the device and Kaine's gatekeeper confirmed it. The Acolytes day started just like most days before it, bouts of intense physical workouts following up with a test of the mind and some history, and philosophy from the Holocron. The knowledge would lead into training of the sleugh of new force powers Braxus had been carefully cultivating, and more intense training. Since [member="Darth Vornskr"] untimely death the guardsman of the Pyramid, especially the Crownguard often forbade visitors to the Pyramid which left the throne room a great open and quiet place to train. Braxus left the holocron sitting on one of the armrests of the throne. The spectral visage of Kaine in his original body in the prime of his life stood, his hood pulled down revealing his face, it might have been a hologram but the image still held the demeanor of his master, arms crossed.

Braxus slowed his breathing and opened up his mind and body to the black power of the dark side, it was a new technique the holocron was showing him and he had been training at it for over an hour now. Lightning was a complex power to grasp and the holocron taught a specialized form that came out a powerful and dangerous crimson. So far he couldn't generate the power, or wasn't focused enough. To tell the truth he wasn't, his mind was fraught with curiosity on exactly how the damage many months ago to the pyramid occurred. Through some carefully extracted rumors it was Kaine's newest pet that caused it, but he hadn't seen it around at all.

The Acolyte purged his thoughts and threw his hand forward and finally crimson lightning burned from his fingertips, it crackled in the air and exploded into the long great hall illuminating its walls. The Acolyte looked back briefly to see the sly grin quickly fade off of his holographic master's face.

The Twi'lek had about an hour before curfew, before she'd have to be back in her room. At all times she was escorted by a pair of rather brutish looking guards. They did not touch her, but watched her every move by the command of Kaine. Should she step out of line she would find their hospitality drastically dissipate with prejudice. Sera had almost forgotten that they were constantly shadowing her by now. They were more of an extension of her person by this point than anything else.

Certain areas of the pyramid were off limits to her, for reasons unknown. Vornskr had promised to reveal them when the time was right. She rarely questioned him at this point. She trusted his judgement of her, and knew that when she was ready to be shown what was behind locked doors she would be. The areas she'd caused substantial damage to were one of those sections, as well as the prison quarters where she had fallen in her fight against the Sith Lord.

Still, she found a certain peace in taking walks through the corridors, her hands brushing against the cool duracrete walls, quietly awaiting his return during his extended absence. She'd now know what he had been up to, he simply told her that he would be back. Another thing she learned about him was that he did as he needed, without question or hesitation. She sort of admired it, though it did leave her constantly wondering about him.

One of the large chambers served as a sort of meditation chamber. Dimly lit by only a handful of torches, ancient statues served to present their own ghastly artwork within the room. Its' true purpose she honestly didn't know, but she often found herself sitting quietly within the center, thinking about her past, her present, and whatever the future held.

Braxus lost track of time as he trained all throughout the day feeding his growing appetite for knowledge. Each technique he mastered, each lesson learned allowed him to grow in power and he loved every minute of it. The Anzati was Vornskr's Apprentice, as well as his Prime Designate so the guards left him to do as he desired, no door was important enough to bar him from entry. But the aching muscles in his body told him enough was enough for today and he deactivated the holocron, locking the device away in his own personal chambers before leaving with a curious idea.

The acolyte walked to the damaged section of the palace and got a good look at exactly how much damage it was. Workers and slaves had already made substantial work in the repair process, someone would surely be punished if Kaine had returned once again alive to find out his servants still haven't finished the repair process. But for all the damage he saw it didn't tell him what he wanted to know. What caused all of this? Apparently the culprit was caught and captured, but Vornskr had done something to the perpetrator.

Through a careful investigation Braxus had found out that the culprit was now serving the Sith Lord, and he had called himself Daeva on numerous occasions, the memory banks of the pyramids many guards served him well for finding this particular piece of information out. Braxus weaved down the brazier-lit hallways ruminating on the subject of this individual who could have caused so much trouble, when something caught his attention. There was one guard standing outside of a normally vacant meditation chamber, that wasn't apart of the guard postings, and Braxus could feel that there was another inside...and...

Someone strong in the force, the feeling was unmistakable to an Anzati that hunted force users for countless years, and this feeling certainly wasn't coming from any guard. The soldier didn't so much as try to bar the stride of Braxus as he walked past the man and opening the door to the chamber and stepped in, but in that short exchange Braxus had pilfered everything he needed from the mans mind. There in the center of the room sat a pink skinned twi'lek woman, the familiar sign of shock bracers and anklets on her person. "Now who are you?" He asked her.

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

The silence of the room was broken by a voice she was unfamiliar with. Seraphina opened her eyes to gaze at the figure standing a few feet before her. The twi'lek's nose scrunched, eyes furrowing as she searched her memory for the existence of this person, though her memory came up blank. Quizzically the girl would stare for another long minute, desperately trying to somehow identify where he came from, what he was doing in here with her, and why the guards had let him in.

"Who...Am I?" She would ask, confusion in her voice. "Who are you? Is it not proper to introduce one's self when entering an already occupied room?"

The Twi'lek spoke plainly, but not rudely. It was simple mannerisms as far as she was concerned. The fact that the guards had let him pass through seemingly without incident meant to her that at the very least he was on good terms with her master, if not colleagues. Her severance of the Force disallowed her to identify him further, as a Force user or otherwise. Many that littered the halls of the Black Pyramid were insensitive to the Force, so for all Sera knew, Braxus was merely another servant of the Sith Lord.

From her knees the pink woman rose, her collar and bracers still well affixed to her neck, arms, and legs respectively. She saw them not as restraints, but as precautions. After all, the last thing she wanted was to bring harm to Daeva or the rest of the Sith Order. Taking a few slow steps toward the man she continued examining his facial features, his posture, scent, every miniscule feature about him. She would not forget him if they crossed paths in the future, of that she was certain.

"My name," She proclaimed in a soft, soothing tone "Is Satyijau'ira." [member="Darth Vornskr"] would be proud of his pet. At least, she hoped.

Braxus took in the sights of the twi'lek as she responded to him, she was quite alluring and a unique shade in twi'leks he certainly never saw before. "Satyijau'ira?" Braxus said as he choked down the smile that threatened to form on his face. Satyijau'ira was the Sith word for servant, and in some cases it meant slave. It was already obvious that [member="Darth Vornskr"] had after beating the woman, somehow broke her until she accepted such a demeaning title for her name. "It has been a while Satyijau'ira, where has my memory gone I am Usij and we have met before..you don't remember me?" Braxus slid into the room the door shutting behind him, and he walked closer to the twi'lek. Every word of it was a lie, Braxus wasn't new to deception.

"It must've been the torture those devils had inflicted upon you...I was in a situation and unable to return home to see you, its been too long, let me get a look at you." He said as he stopped when he was a few feet from her and crouching down. At this close a distance Braxus was able to analyze the twi'lek while a seeming look of concern spread across his face.

He said as he stopped when he was a few feet from her and crouching down. At this distance Braxus was able to take in the visage of the full figured, curvaceous twi'lek. She had the toned body of a warrior and the grace of one of her peoples dancers. Why couldn't his master capture more alluring slaves, and garner more servants that looked like this, despite popular belief Braxus did get tired of all the darkness once in a while..it was nice to see something that was different from the silent, large armored soldiers that guarded the halls. Braxus sighed "How do you feel?"

The woman shut her eyes, a pink hand raising to press against her temple as she desperately tried to search her memory once again for any trace of this 'Usij'. Still, she came up blank, perhaps another missing piece of the puzzle due to her torture at the hands of the Jedi. So much seemed to have been lost on her that it was regularly frustrating to realize yet another piece missing from her life. Just how much have I forgotten? She wondered to herself. "I don't recall your name or face. I apologize." Her voice sounded a bit embarrassed at the notion of forgetting yet another name. "I feel...Strange, still." Her hand fell back to her side as she stepped a few paces towards [member="Braxus Zambrano"] to close the bit of gap left between them. "It's like every day I'm forced to relearn another aspect of my life."

There would be a few moments of pause, the Twi'lek bit down against her lower lip, looking about the expansive chamber with a bit of comfort. "This place relaxes me when I find it hard to focus. Something about it evokes a sort of inner peace that I find it difficult to achieve elsewhere in this place." Sera then turned her focus back to Usij, a small smile on her face. "What brought you down here though? First time anyone besides Daeva has visited me. Well, other than the occasional guard or two that is." It was truly a rarity to find anyone besides her shadow roaming the halls, so the idea of another person being around was more than welcome, especially if Vornskr was going to be gone for a prolonged period of time.

Braxus was thoroughly surprised how genuine this woman was, and how disturbed she was by what the supposed "Jedi" did to her, thanks to the influence of his master no doubt. Regardless he looked at the woman as she spoke about her troubles with losing her past life, and he almost had cause for sympathy for the woman. One of the worst things someone could do to another being would be to erase their thoughts and memories, and her whole life had been tossed on its head. But there were worse things that someone could do to you than making a few well placed snippets in your mind so you serve the light side. "I understand. They've taken from you valued memories that made you who you are, and your scrambling to pick up the pieces." Braxus said as he walked up to the Twi'lek and put a hand on her shoulder "But there are far worse things that could happen to you, than memory loss. You survived." Braxus added.

"While this place does serve as a personal home for "Daeva", I am his hand if you will. I too call this place home. I heard what happened to you and I was curious to be honest." Braxus replied truthfully. "I find walking the quiet halls and gazing at the architecture can be quite compelling, If you wish I could walk with you and you could tell me all about whats happened since you came back, talking to someone can always help." He said to her, offering the woman his arm.
