Felran nodded "Yes, then there are the ones that can wield the force. Force sensitives. These are powerful beings who can use powers some can only dream of. I am one of these force sensitives."

"Oh.. wow. Only some people have it.. But what do you use it for?" She asked him. She has lived her life cut out from the outside world since young and knowing about such things fascinated her.

Felran smiled and a nearby chair began to float. Higher and higher untill at eye level. "People use it for many things. But most wield it as another weapon."

 

[Ai-lynn Tannog]

Ai-lynn widened her eyes in shock when she saw the unoccupied chair float up with ease. "How.. how is that possible..?" She said while staring at the floating chair, unable to fathom what was happening around her. It felt so.. surreal.

Felran chuckled "Like I said. The force. It is a ally to us sensitives. We can wield it like a weapon. It is what controls this galaxy. It is also what brings chaos."

 

[Ai-lynn Tannog]

"Oh.. But.. why you telling me about the Force?" Ai-lynn asked him, her eyebrows furrowing as she was feeling a little confused. She believed him because she never saw someone with a power that could levitate objects and being a "weapon".

Felran laughed. "Isn't it obvious? I can feel something in you Ai-lynn. I can feel a disturbance in the force. You can control it as well. You are force sensitive." Felran unhooked a metal hilt from his belt and laid it onto the middle of the table.

Okay. That was one sentence Ai-lynn couldn't take him seriously.

"Me? Not possible.. I never had such powers." She replied him. She heard him take out something and placed it on the table.

Felran smiled "Really? I want you to do me a favor. Extended your hand towards the object on the table. Reach for it in your mind. Make your presence known. Imagine this object coming towards you in your mind."

Ai-lynn had a skeptical look on her face as she listened to him giving her the instructions. It wouldn't hurt trying anyway.

Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and stretched her hand out towards the object. She imagined the metal object being lifted up like the chair and flying straight into her outstretched hand.

Felran grinned, the object scooted towards Ai-lynn a few cenitmeters. Soon it flew directly into her hand. When it touched her hand two meter long red blade came from both sides of the object. "I told you."

Ai-lynn was shocked when she felt the cold metal come into contact with her hand, followed a sound of something switching on. She opened her eyes and saw that there were something like two red beams of light coming from both sides of it. "Eh? What's this..? It's pretty.." She gasped as she stared at the object in her hands.

"That....is a lightsaber. A saberstaff to be exact. Don't touch the red blades. Those will cut of almost anything. They are the weapons of force sensitives. They come in many different shapes and sizes for anyone's preferred taste. That one is mine so I would like back sometime alright?" Felran chuckled softly.

 

[Ai-lynn Tannog]

"Oh. A weapon.." She mumbled as she stared at the object for a little longer. I've never seen anything like this.. and it sounds so powerful. She thought to herself.

After realising that she had been holding it for too long, she fiddled around with it to turn it off. After the blades retracted back in, she handed it back to Falran.

The lightsaber merely flew towards Felran and landed in his palm. "So think. Why would some random Zabrak tell you about your force sensitivity, teach you how to slightly control it, and show you lightsabers? Just why?" Felran had a delivish smile on his face.

Ai-lynn thought about it. Other than her being able to sense that he was no ordinary being, she couldn't think about anything else.

Just about then, a random thought struck her and she made a wild guess. "You want me to join.. you?"

Felran clapped his hands together "Yes! I want you to join the-Oh I didn't tell you about the light and dark did I? Well you see there are two main force users. The Jedi and me and my people, the Sith. The Jedi believe that the force needs to be limited, that it must not fulfill its duty as the force. Us Sith believe that there is no restraint. That all force powers can be used. That the force must fulfill its duty." Of course Felran was fibbing most of it, it was almost impossible for her to join if he didn't.

Jedi.. Siths.. Light and Dark.. She repeated those terms in her mind and tried to process what he had said. Can he be trusted..? And there some kind of fighting going on?

"But.. You, Siths. What are you fighting for?" Ai-lynn asked him. She was hesitant on joining him for his cause.

Felran smiled "We are fighting to eradicate the Jedi. To make sure the force has no restrain and can fulfill its job." Felran was almost completly lying now. But then again what Sith didn't lie?

Something didn't sound quite right to her but what he said felt so convincing. If she joined him, it probably meant that she had to leave her way of life here and she had to start fighting others and.. killing them. It was against the morals she was taught by her parents but she had didn't have anything or any one to live for now.

It was a difficult decision for her to make. "Won't I be punished if I kill people? That's what I heard.." Ai-lynn finally found the words to reply him.
