The Wrath and the Hand betrayed us.

The Yuuzhan Vong Horde turned against us.

The Dark Lord secluded himself in the shadows to plot and scheme his revenge.

The One Sith has conquered the core of the Galaxy, but its stability is threatened by forces inside and outside of the warlike nation. Yuuzhan Vong remnants exist throughout Sith Space, harassing and attacking the worlds, garrisons and fleets of the Sith. The Galactic Alliance is probing and searching for weaknesses along the border.

Opportunities

  • Exterminate the Yuuzhan Vong uprising.

  • Put down possible rebel movements.

  • Maybe the Dark Lord jumps in the middle of the fight, subjugates the Yuuzhan Vong again and wants to use them to burn the Galaxy. Turning point in the campaign where some people aid the Dark Lord, while others form an ‘Old Guard’ of more reserved and less destructive forces.

What do y'all think? Add more points, edit existing ones et cetera.

I like the idea that it starts as a Vong rebellion coming on the heels of the Black Rose schism, and the power vacuum of the Wrath, Hand, Voice (Timoris), and Shadow* either disappearing or betraying the One Sith has the Dark Lord not trusting anyone who he once favored.

Perhaps he starts to favor those who show initiative in the Vong portion and if that part goes well, this evolves into a power struggle between the Old Guard and the New Hotness.

EDIT: If the DL lives, he reorgs the OS to better suit the whole. If he dies, the OS reorgs themselves.

*Yes I know he had no real power but for story purposes, it's another strike against those once favored by the Dark Lord.

[2:12:51 PM] Sarah (Mal-Sin) Z.: Post Black Rose peacing out, the DL commissions a secret army.
[2:13:27 PM] Sarah (Mal-Sin) Z.: With the Wrath and Hand betrayal, the Vongbellion is born.
[2:13:56 PM] Sarah (Mal-Sin) Z.: He revokes all seats of power
[2:14:13 PM] Sarah (Mal-Sin) Z.: And forces them to prove their loyalty to the throne
[2:14:22 PM] Sarah (Mal-Sin) Z.: by defeating the Vong threat
[2:15:02 PM] Sarah (Mal-Sin) Z.: Only those waiting in the wings see this as a time to step into the light and catch the eye of the DL
While the OS is fighting the Vong threat, he mobilizes his secret army

[2:20:14 PM] Harlod, the Nug Lord (Sam): I mean. Let's look at it this way, the One Sith are fighting the Rebellion. The Dark Lord who once had a single vision, is beginning to lose confidence in his goals. It's been about 10 years ICly since the One Sith of now was formed. He's growing impatient, and new enemies rise around him. Perhaps he now believes that he can only do things himself, and alone.
[2:20:32 PM] Harlod, the Nug Lord (Sam): Dark Lord enters his emo phase.

The Wrath and Hand have betrayed us...
The Voices have been mostly silenced...
The Vong have rebelled against their dark masters...

The Dark Lord gains worlds in his endless quest for galactic domination, but at what cost? The ones he entrusted for support of his divine power have left a vacuum and all eyes turn to the weaknesses of their vaunted Master.

The Vong have begun to strike back at the One Sith for the transgressions of Selvaris. His Lords, his anointed few have failed him in the execution of his vision. He must start anew.

Commissioned in secret after the Black Rose schism, a new clone army has arrived on Coruscant, occupying the Sith Temple and restricting the once free moment of the One Sith to areas of the palace where the Dark Lord resides.

By his decree, all are equal in failure and equal in success. Until the Vong are subdued and purged, all are accountable. The remaining Voices, Hand and Reach are issued a strict ultimatum. Personally prove your loyalty to the throne by putting down the Vong threat or face execution.

Seeking to ensure that his closest is loyal, he turns his attention to the Eye, and her Embers. If treachery could infect the others under her gaze, can she be trusted?

Whispers become outrage...
Has the Dark Lord gone too far?
