Dominion Smells Like Big Business | EOTL Dominion of Sakiya

Though the Empire of the Lost once again triumphed over the Tingle Arm Coalition at Garn and Maldra IV, their foray into Hutt Space continues. At the heavily industrialized planet of: Sakiya the Empire encounters the green skinned Sakiyan species. These near humanoids possess high quality repulsorlift engines that can be created at little cost as well as teleporters that can enable soldiers to conduct brutally efficient guerilla tactics. Such technology is coveted by the ever-growing Empire and although representatives had initially reached out to the Sakiyans with a generous offer, they've refused citing their past conflicts with the Hutts. They even had the gall to compare the GLORIOUS Empire to those grotesque slugs. With negotiations failing, the Empire decided to respond with deadly force. Avenge the slight, secure the technology, and make an example of these Sakiyans.

Objective 1: In the Jungle The Mighty Jungle.....

1000_F_538269056_wtLVxEr3FOBxM5QNhSpxNLD5pFjWINq5.jpg

Imperial forces land on the tropical areas of Sakiya, though they have a massive technological edge, the Sakiyans have the home court advantage. With the brutal conditions of the jungle plus the teleportation technology enabling effective guerilla warfare, fighting the green skinned humanoids won't be easy. Engage the Sakiyans but be on your guard, ambush predators such as Gundarks and multiple traps laid by Sakiyans can make your stay on Sakiya a very short one.

Objective 2: Shield Dome

tumblr_inline_nru9r5OVPy1qi5hlo_1280.jpg

Ridgetown is the Sakiya's major city and while the main Sakiyan Force is away, a shield dome encases the city from any siege weapons. To any NISB or troopers, you must infiltrate the city and shut down the shield generator so the rest of the forces can easily surround the city once they push through the jungle.

On top of the Rotoksa Mountain Range home to the main industrial complex that is creating the Repulsorlift Technology. While the battle is underway in the jungle and the city, business is still churning for the Repulsorlift Technology. Due to the plant's natural defenses, only a few thousand of the Saki chapter of the Bounty Hunters' Guild remains to guard the place. A small force of Imperial troopers should be enough to take them on, while NISB agents infiltrate the plant and retrieve the plans of the Repulsorlift technology and other technology that the plant developed and them back to command.

Usually, the N&Z would not mingle outright with their clients and their wars, it was a policy that had been set up by the previous heads of House Nargath and which sought to prevent the dangers that had befallen one of the previous Chairmans of the N&Z board of directors. However, Tertius was of the opinion that being present during a few operations and utilizing the time and effort within these operations could grant better insight on the workings of the client and the needs of said client. It was mainly with this in mind that the Marquis found himself drawn to the idea of the assault on Sakiya acting as a proper staging ground for some tests in regards to his products; namely the ZMDIII-C1 droids, who as soon as his cruiser entered the Sakiya orbit, were activated and ordered to board the several troop transport ships which had been prepared for this occassion.

Tertius himself would board one of the troop transport ships alongside a detachment of his own Valkan guard, whose expertise could be useful in the oversight of the operation, with especially the commander of thisparticular detachment, Centurion Livicus being a proper asset for this little excursion.

"The empire's internal communiqué mentioned appropriating technology from the local repulsor lift factories and bring them back to the empire's technological departments for study and internal adaptation," The Marquis chuckled as he walked into the loading bay of the transport ship designated for himself and the Valkan guards. Motioning the pilot to follow the standard procedure, the Marquis got a hold of the straps meant to allow the combatants in the hull to have some balance, quietly counting his detachment of Valkan guards and nodding towards their centurion. "I am fairly certain that Moff...Director Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss would agree that it is in our best interest to cleanse the facilities themselves rather than taking just a bit of technology."

It looked like the ones defending and guarding the factory weren't going to roll over all that easy, as ground to air defenses had been clearly prepared, with a multitude of shells and blasts being shot into the skies, taking out at least two of the troop transport ships as they descended within the perimeter of the Repulsor lift facilities. Annoyed by this turn of events, the Marquis quickly turned his attention to Centurion Livicus, who gave his Lord a small datapad with mainly a long range communicative function.

"To any of the Imperial Ground forces located at or aiming to assault or infiltrate the repulsor lift facilities," The Marquis took a deep breath, before suddenly raising his voice and granting it a tone and air of absolute authority. "Focus on setting up a perimeter, but do NOT damage these facilities beyond repair. These facilities will be turned into N&Z holdings and will benefit the Empire, I repeat, focus on infiltration and a secure perimeter, do NOT target the facilities themselves."

While Tertius knew he did not have any outright authority within the Empire of the Lost, he did hope that mentioning the N&Z Umbrella Corporation would at the very least give those on the ground and those descending an idea of the importance of this request...nay, this order...

Objective II: The Shield Dome

The Krykna Imperial Mafia is a criminal syndicate in operation on the planet Lianna. According to rumours learned by the NISB it first started as a loose coalition of Liann thugs which banded together under the leadership of Yoryn Darnur Yoryn Darnur . Later, as the organisation continued to grow throughout the Liann Underworld, the Mafia would find itself falling into the rule of Agmena Rend: a former Imperial Moff who survived Velran Kilran Velran Kilran 's coup d'etat against the Imperial Ruling Council at the turn of the Ninth century.

In the wake of Kilran's betrayal and subsequent rise and fall as His Majesty of all Imperial Kind, the Eggman, the anointed Emperor of the Lost, the Mafia has spread beyond the Lianna system and into other territories across the Empire of the Lost. Under the leadership of the late Staff Director, Alicia Drey Alicia Drey , the NISB had changed tactics from it's previous administration and instead choose to begin using it rather than outright trying to destroy the Krykna as it had been under Drey's predecessor.

With the annexation of the planet Kessel the Empire had to find solutions to several mounting issues that were beginning to affect the order, peace and security of the Imperium. With the planet Tion being destroyed, and the subsequent loss of Felucia to the Sith vassal state found within the realms of the Stygian Caldera, the Empire had been hit with a trade embargo put in place by the Trade Federation of Planets which cut off access to several goods, services and markets which trickled their way in from the Core Worlds. This placed the Empire into a state of recession compounded with a refugee crisis which saw billions of Tionese spread throughout the Empire as they fled the destruction of their homeworld.

Solutions needed to be found fast, and soon.

One such solution came in the form of bringing the Empire into the spice trade. With the exotic spices of Kessel at their disposal the late Director arranged a quiet deal with the Krykna Imperial Mafia that would see them become the distributors and whole sellers of spice so long as they abided by one clear rule: do not sell within the Empire of the Lost. In exchange for a cut of the profits the Empire found itself suddenly bolstered by a new revenue of credits which led to stemming the economic impacts sustained following the Sith attack on Tion.

Having the Krykna as quiet partners to the NISB also provided other avenues of use for the organisation. With access to individuals who would otherwise (in normal circumstances) stay clear of the Imperials the Krykna had been contacted to arrange safe travel of Major Sieliel Dimegor Sieliel Dimegor of the Imperial Immortals to the planet Sakiya to perform a covert mission planetside to deactivate the Shield Dome inside the metropolis of Ridgetown before Imperial forces arrived to attack the city.

Smuggled from Lianna all the way to Sakiya the Major and her squad of Imperial Immortals touched down on the shantytown of Iepatap Harbor where they were to arrange passage into Ridgetown to proceed with their mission. The Sakiyan criminal known to the NISB as Mazhar became of interest due to his access to the Rotoska Ridge Grand Lodge: a city-sized structure found on the Rotoska Mountain Range which contained the Shield Dome that Dimegor and her squad had been sent to deactivate, or destroy. Arrangements had been made through clandestine correspondence between Mazhar and the NISB for him to meet with Dimegor once she arrived in the city.

Eleven days after receiving her mission on Lianna Sieliel climbed off the repulsorlift to lift her gaze up to a mountain. Her gaze lowered to the Chrono on her wrist and saw that she had just under five standard hours to complete her mission.

OBJECTIVE III: Technological Marvels

Velda Praz stood by the security monitor at the Sakiya Repulsorlift Works facility. She was a recent transfer, replacing Assistant Security Director Dayle Bennox, who had come down with a debilitating illness. Its cause was still not known, but it had been a progressive degenerative disease that gradually stole his motor control over a period of ten days. Most distressing.

Central Management had sent Assistant Security Director Bakya Trant to replace him. An experienced private security operative, she'd worked for Kuat and Sienar in the past, and had been a good late hire for SRW. Of course, the resume had been ginned up and inserted into the employment networks by data slicers. And of course, Bakya Trant did not really exist.

The Ministry of Inquiry had foreseen this operation. Maldor Mecetti had authorized her insertion. So far, everything was going according to plan.

"No sign of Imperial presence near the facility yet," Velda declared, "but it's only a matter of time."

Security Director Kint Krox, a Sakiyan who had served as Chief of Security at SRW for the past decade, came up behind her. "Central Management does not believe this facility will be a priority for Imperial invaders, and I'm inclined to agree with them. Your diligence is commendable, but you've been glued to that display since the Imperial ships arrived in system. We have to trust that Planetary Defense Forces will do their job. Our job is to keep the factory running, so that defense production can continue unimpeded."

Velda turned to look at him, "I wish I could share your certainty about the Planetary Defense Forces. The vault here contains the original plans for everything we produce. The Empire must know that. I still think we should evacuate the data chips to our sister facility off-world while we still can. The orbital presence is still spotty. I think a fast ship could penetrate blockading forces."

The Sakiyan Security Director shook his head, "No, that would be placing the data chips at even greater risk of capture. They stay here, in the vault. I initiated the failsafe when the Empire first appeared in-system.

If I don't enter my clearance codes hourly, the vault's contents will be incinerated. The factory droids and computers will have their component-build diagrams scrambled. No one will steal our designs.

Better SRW should lose the plans than that the Empire should gain them. Our scientists and engineers can always draw up new plans, if needed. It would only take a few months for them to re-create the work."

Velda nodded, "I understand. I just worry that months might as well be eternity if production has a major interruption. The Defense Effort relies on our repulsorlifts, from bikes to starships. Losses have been heavy. Interrupting production for months could be a blow that loses the larger resistance."

Krox frowned, his fishy features enhancing the expression. "You're not entirely wrong... but we stick to the plan, for now. Why don't you check the armories once more, in case we need them? And see if that Bounty Hunter Commander has gotten any news from the perimeter patrols."

Velda nodded. "Of course, Sir." Then she turned and walked off to the weapons facility. She'd already introduced faulty energy cells into most of the weapons in the armory. Now she could finish the job. Then she could see what she could do to dismantle the Bounty Hunters' effectiveness on site.

The thousands of 'guest' Bounty Hunter security forces occupying the factory were a major risk, as they weren't part of the usual factory security personnel. Corporate security could be relied upon to follow particular protocols to the letter, for the most part. One could never be entirely sure what Bounty Hunters would do...

Objective 3: Technological Marvels

Personalized Stealth Bodysuit
Lightsaber
Modified PL-18 Standard Issue Blaster Pistol

As tempting as it was to whip out her Lightsaber and start slicing fools, there were too many Bounty Hunters patrolling the perimeter of the power plant. Kneeling down on top of a cliff overlooking the plant, Dextra pulled out her Intel Scope marking targets and places of interest. Security was lax meaning that the executives have believed the NISB feedback loop saying that the planet was all clear. Dextra wasn't sure how long that'll last though, but NISB was allegedly good at making people believe the most absurd of lies.

"I wonder if the rest of the Imperial agents have landed," Dextra muttered to herself. It'll be a matter of time before the Imperial troops strike the facility and the place will be on high alert. As much as chaos is the best blanket for stealth it does create unintentional hazards like explosions or a stray blaster bolt. Dextra will need to be cautious and take the most effective route towards the plant.

"Hell, why sit and wait when I can start my infiltration now?" Dex grinned getting up and leaping off the cliff using the Force to frontflip into a soft and rather..... low landing.

scarlett-johansson-black-widow.gif

The red headed woman giggled at her landing quickly picking herself up and running towards the electrified fences. No force field like at their city? These green skinned humanoids really believed that the mountains would prevent any intruders. Calling upon the Force, Dextra leapt over the fence and immediately pivoted next to a nearby metal container before a Bounty Hunter could spot her. "All right," Dex said to herself. "So far, so good, those plans are gonna be mine real soon!"

Objective 3: Technological Marvels: The Distraction
After the battle of Maldra IV had seen over half of his company decimated through enemy treachery, Clone Paragon Commander 'Zealot' and his remaining Paragons had truly been blooded as a fighting force. Through fire and righteous hatred, they had butchered their way into the TAC Nest and took it in the Empire's name, now what was asked of them would be a far more trivial task...

The Rotoska Mountain Range Complex was an excellent defensive position what with the heavy incline, the many rocks and trees that are to be used as cover, and since their opponents were bounty hunters, it should be expected that a hail of Sniper Fire would be the greeting should any of them be spotted around the mountain

Luckily for the Imperial Army and Stormtroopers on the ground, they were not being lead by a mere Imperial Officer who wanted to fast-track themselves up the chain of command. But it would Clone Commander 'Zealot' himself leading the charge. Paving the way for them several Storm and Spider class walkers and the recovered Dewback Squadron who were kindly loaned to them by High Admiral Orion_Knight Orion_Knight would be on station to provide fire support for them.

As the Walkers made it just outside of the maximum effective range of Anti-Personnel weapons range, the Commander would decide to give the Bounty Hunters one single act of mercy. Switching on the PA system on the the Storm Class Walker that he rode in on, he would make an announcement to the Bounty Hunters just this once...

"TO THE BOUNTY HUNTERS IN THE ROTOSKA MOUNTAINS!! A WAVE OF RIGHTEOUS STEEL APPROACHES YOUR ROTTEN FACILITY!! ALL WHO OPPOSE OUR WILL, SHALL BE SWIFTLY CRUSHED BY THE SACRED MIGHT OF THE EMPRESS' IMPERIAL ARMY!!! THIS SHALL BE YOUR ONE AND ONLY WARNING!!! ABANDON YOUR POSTS OR ABANDON ALL HOPE!!!"

And with his single act of warning towards the ones they were about to trample, the Commander would switch to use commlink to all troopers upon this field of Battle
"ALL UNITS ADVANCE AT SPEED!!! FOR OUR FALLEN EMPEROR!! FOR THE EMPIRE!!!"

The assembled infantrymen and the crews within their walkers then cried back to their Commander 'FOR THE EMPIRE!!!' in a united voice that dwarfed his own, even when heard on the comms, many having their fists raised to the sky. And as Zealot dropped from his transporting walker, he would lead the march towards the facility with himself and the Paragons at it's head

Artificer IPAPA-1 Power Armor (Mostly Aesthetic changes + EM shielding)

Artificer-modified NCE-MW02 M-BVS (Increased amount of teeth, higher power, EM shielding. Though mods make it slightly heavier)

Scoped NZ/NCE Modular Blaster-03P

Artificer HIMAR-1 Heavy Blaster Rifle (Scoped + Improved Pump-action for the Grenade Launcher)

2 Spider Walkers
2 Storm Walkers
100 Infantrymen from the Imperial Army
50 Stormtrooper specialists
Sacred Fox Company: 24 Imperial Paragon Veterans + Zealot

OBJECTIVE III: Technological Marvels

Velda was coming out of the armory when the red alert klaxons began to sound, indicating that a strong enemy force had been detected in the vicinity.

Bounty-hunter mercenaries were clambering through the halls. Some of them were headed to the armory to pick up weapons. Some of them were already armed with whatever gear they'd brought with them on this assignment. Several wore Mandalorian-style armor. Whether it was true Beskar or only Armorplast facsimiles was up to the individual resources of each Bounty Hunter. Either way, the design was decent protection.

One of the Bounty Hunter Lieutenants stopped in the hall to address her.

"You're that temp assistant director, yeah?" It was impossible to tell what species the man was from past his helmet. Only an arm-band allowed her to determine his rank. She wished she'd known sooner. It would have been possible to get some NISB agents into these suits to replace members of the Bounty Hunter force.

"Yes, Lieutenant," Velda responded, "Trant. Bakya Trant. What's the sitrep?"

"It's not good," he answered, "Imperial Paragons. Heavy Imperial infantry. Each of them is like a small armored vehicle in those suits of theirs. But we have gear for taking out heavy vehicles. Should cut them down just fine. I've sent some of the boys to get Heavy Repeaters from your Armory to supplement our own weapons."

Velda nodded, "I just checked them all for functionality. They should serve you well."

The Lieutenant nodded, "Good. You corpos should stay out of our way. Stick to interior security. Things are about to get hairy out there."

Velda nodded back, "That suits us just fine. No point hiring outside security and not letting them do their job."

"Those damned morons," Nodding his head as his handfull of troop transports that hadn't been shot out of the sky landed within the perimeter agreed on as the safest place to start their own operation. No doubt if there were any lookouts within the industrial facilities, they would have clearly seen these ships coming, but that was the point after all. An Eriaduan, no matter how big or small, would not be intimidated or dissuaded from a prize, cowardice was something Eriaduans generally did not commit to. "Have company Three and Four infiltrate the facilities through the north side of the facilities and the East, send in company one through the west side and company One to the south, pin down their defenses and shut them down."

Centurion Livicus watched as the platoons of hightech, state of the art enforcer droids ran in complete unison into the direction they had been ordered to go, tilting his head a bit as he noticed how his Lord reached for a small caliber pistol hidden in a holster within his expensive looking suite. "Bringing a peashooter to a battlefield...Milord, you are either mad or insane."

"Those are the same, Livicus," Tertius laughed as he started to make haste himself, not at any sort of pace comparable to a soldier, but fast enough to show that he was feeling great and healthy at the moment.

"I know Milord, just stating the obvious," The Centurion motioned the Valkan Guards to form the ladder formation around himself and the Marquis of Valkan, with him and his lord acting as the steps of the ladder. "Should we contact the main troops of the Empire?"

"By all means, you may do so,"

"Comm officer, come in...comm officer, urgent message relay - do NOT destroy the facility, I repeat, do NOT destroy the facility...too much," The centurion realized he had to add the last part to this message meant for the Imperial troops, considering it was highly unlikely they had brought the light auxilliaries for something like this.

"LT. Why do we always get the chit part of the missions?" One of Dieter's squad said over comms.

"Commander CC-22849 'Zealot' CC-22849 'Zealot' gets to attack a facility, while we trudge through mud and muck." Another one added.

It was true Dieter's company always got picked for the 'messier' missions. Truth be told, he always volunteered them for it, it will make them stronger, in long run, he thought; though he'd never tell them that. He and his almost full company, they were down three ensigns because of a training incident, were trudging through shin-deep muddy water in the middle of a dangerous jungle; animals, traps, Sakiyan hunters, or all three could be around any tree or rock here.

"Quiet, everyone. Watch sectors." He said, "We don't know what's watching us. Same with you, Second Squad."

<<Copy LT.>> Their squad leader replied.

Second Squad was about twenty meters to Dieter's left, they had some slight high-ground and a better overwatch of Dieter's squad. everyone was moving slowly and methodically. They were warned about the traps before heading in, but had yet to see any until.

Click, klang.

"Chit..." was all Dieter had to say before he noticed the opened cages. Two gundarks began charging at his squad with unforeseen speed. Without hesitation, everyone opened fire. The gundarks weren't fully grown yet and had the dexterity to dodge most of Dieter's opening salvo; they made it halfway towards his squad before Second Squad opened fire from their higher position nailing one of them, its body tumbling into the muddy water with a loud splash.

The second gundark rushed Dieter. He quickly attached his rifle to his chest and detached his sidearm from his thigh right as the gundark grabbed Diter's forearm and began to push him down into the mud. Dieter with his Atoan physique managed to hold the creature back as he fired point-blank into the beast's chest as his squad unloaded on it.

It fell into the water with a schloop, it's blood quickly draining and adding to the muddled water. "Sorry LT, I wasn't watching where I was stepping." A squad member said.

Dieter walked back to him and tapped the bottom of his armored fist on the ensign's helmet. "Be more careful. Now enemies know location. Let's get moving." He said walking back to take point, he lifted his hand above his head and motioned for them to move forward. He expected more ahead now.

Objective II: The Shield Dome

Humid air assaulted the repulsorlift as it continued it's climb to the top. There was a buzzing sound of gnats that were circulating around the occupants of the lift as it continued it's ascent. Sieliel lowered her palm to her hip to product a canteen of water, and soon after, begun satisfying a thirst that had taken her since arriving on Sakiya. It was in these brief moments of quiet introspection, as she waited for this life to finish it's climb, for example, that Sieliel quietly reflected on life and thought of Lianna City. It was a beautiful place that was distinctly cold, unlike this place, which the Major was quietly coming to hate.

-:: DESTINATION COMPLETE ::-

Sieliel raised her chin to the sign post above her as she lift finished it's climb. Screwing the cap back closed on the canteen, and pocketing it, she crossed the threshold of the lift to step foot into the lodge. Sieliel was used to seeing different types of buildings. Over the eons Lianna saw countless different civilizations come and go leaving with them their distinct architecture, and culture. But to her the Sakiyan's were too... basic. Wooded huts made out of stone, and wood, paled in comparison to the marvels back at home.

Turning her back around to her men Sieliel eyed each of them. Back home they would be wearing the distinct armour of the Imperial Immortals. But here, on Sakiya, they were undercover on a covert operation. Like her they were sweaty, and tired. It had been a long journey from Lianna to here, and the Krykna had not been hospital when they arranged transportation to the Sakiyan homeworld.

Nevertheless they had a job to do.

"Fan out," Sieliel ordered them. "Let's find our guy. Under five hours until our forces make contact."

Lissa zoomed in her helmet’s optics as she studied the assembled Imperial task force within the valley slightly below her own position. They had been given the undoubtedly brutal task of assaulting the facility head-on while infiltrators from the NISB moved to sneak inside. However, given the dysfunctional state of the agency owing to the mysterious assassination of the Staff Director, it alone could not be trusted with a mission of such critical importance to the Empire’s military-industrial-complex. Thus, the Obscurium had deployed its own assets to see the operation complete, including the Spymaster herself ( Dextra Tane Dextra Tane ) and Verum Prime, the most exclusive of the Verum kill squads.

And perhaps soon, the most feared.

“The primary assault is underway, Lady Obscurer.” Lissa spoke up, as she zoomed out her optics. “The Paragons are playing their part to perfection,” she added.

Their leader, the Clone Commander Zealot, had established a fearsome reputation as a berserker, especially after word spread of the
mechanized butchery he had inflicted upon the Coalition defenders on Maldra IV—an action which had led to the beginning of the Coalition rout. For her part, Lissa intended to stay clear of his path. However, the assassin was more concerned for the NISB infiltrators already inside the facility, who might inadvertently find themselves inside his crosshairs should they fall victim to the fog of war.

“The timing is good to initiate our approach. Now might be our best opportunity.”

Iellax leaned casually against the Verum speeder that she and Lissa had used to attain their current position. She eyed the dark skinned clone as Lissa handled the recon of their situation. The other two members of the team were on the other side of the facility making the same preparations. Plans were that the two halves of Verum Prime would meet at the office of their target and finish the job together. For now it was just Iellax and Lissa.

A smirk formed on the Nagai’s lips as Lissa addressed her and gave the report that things were ready to go. “Lady Obscurer” was not how Iellax preferred to have Lissa address her, but there was something in the way the title sounded in the clone assassin’s voice that made Iellax’ heart race a bit. But this was a mission and formality was best even if they were alone. A click came over Iellax’ comm telling her the other duo were also ready to move.

”Alright. You take lead Lissa. Let’s make the director and Overseer proud.” Iellax responded with a nod of her head. ”And we both need to remember this is not a kill mission. No matter how much we would rather slit this engineer’s throat, the Empire wants the knowledge floating around in his brain. So the goal is the target in binders. Maybe later the binders end up on someone else during our victory celebration.” Iellax winked at Lissa and then prepared to follow on their incursion path.

“Then lead, I shall. And I understand, Obscurer. I will maintain discipline.” Lissa nodded, before gracefully jumping onto the front seat of their speeder bike and waiting for her superior to climb on as well. With the distraction provided by the assault, the assassin judged that she could afford to take the bike closer to the facility, potentially shaving time off of their infiltration and making for an easier extraction upon the completion of their mission.

All the while Iellax’s wink coaxed a soft smile from Lissa’s features. With her helmet turned transparent, she knew that her superior would see the reaction, which brought the clone a small sense of comfort as she gripped the vanes of the bike. At the same time, she felt Iellax’s familiar touch as she climbed behind her onto the bike, seated in the place that Lissa usually took, their forms so close that they were virtually interlocked.

She drew a sharp intake of air then, her lashes fluttering as her icy-hued eyes blinked in needlessly repetitive fashion. Nevertheless, the assassin pursed her lips to reset her focus then slammed on the accelerator, sending the bike flying towards the facility with sudden acceleration.

Lissa rode through the valley, taking extra care to stick to concealed areas in the process. A few minutes later, she brought the bike to a halt behind a large shrub, less than a hundred meters outside the facility. Then, after turning off the engine, the assassin leapt off of the seat and willed herself to vanish from sight and sound while simultaneously burying her essence to such an extent that only Iellax would be able to pick out the subtle cues of her presence.

And thus, Lissa was a ghost.

Nevertheless, she moved quickly through the outer perimeter, silently dancing past patrols and sticking within the darkest areas so as to further avoid detection. However, one such patrol was unlucky, simply by virtue of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The two mercenaries had no opportunity to register or detect any danger before the clone came up behind them and slashed her alabaster-hued lightsabers through their necks, swiftly removing their heads in a pair of crosswise strikes. Lissa caught one body and slowed it down prior to hitting the ground, trusting that her handler would take care of the other.

Then, with the two obstacles properly disposed of, Lissa made her way through the gate and into the facility proper.

"Almost there Dex!" Dextra could spot one of the many entrances to the power plant, if she could just get there..... Back still planted firmly against the metal crate, Dextra looked around making sure that the Bounty Hunters who were patrolling her side were out of sight before breaking out into a sprint. "This is going to be easy!"

A booming, metallic voice was heard a couple of miles from the outside entrance of the plant. It was no doubt the voice of an Imperial Paragon, for whatever reason, many Paragons were deployed to Sakiya even though it was known for its small guerilla force rather than large standing army. Being the equivalent of a man in refrigerator, the word stealth wasn't in the Paragons vocabulary. Dextra skidded to a stop as the Bounty Hunters who turned their back to Dextra were now turning their attention on her.

"Oh, for crying out loud!" Dextra shouted.

"We got a hostile!" One of the Bounty Hutners shouted raising his Blaster Rifle. Five more did the same and the next thing Dextra knew, she was backflipping while blaster bolts whizzed by her. The young woman jumped over some large pipes behind her and midair took out her Lightsaber landing on a poor unsuspecting sap and slicing him in half as soon as she landed.

"Would've helped if you tin cans were patient." Dextra growled to herself while more Bounty Hunters fired upon her. She batted away the blaster bolts seeing the entrance ways on her end were covered in a ray shield. "Damn it!" Dextra muttered. "Damn you idiotic Paragons!"

She needed to come up with plan B quickly.

"10-4, Lucanis," Shov spoke to his bond brother through the commlink. "Rendezvous with Dieter Kovasch Dieter Kovasch squads on the nav point." Shov was eager to shed some blood after not being able to participate in the slaughter of Garn and Maldra IV and was tasked to lead a small force on Lothal purging the traitorous Lothal Inhabitants and making sure that no rebellion would ever arise again. It was bloody and brutal but Shov broke the spirit of the Lothal people. The TAC recent loss will further cement the idea that rebellion is futile.

"Deiter," Shov said on the radiolink as he led two squads 10 through the jungle. "We're on our way we're just cutting through the old abandoned Sakiyan bases."

Of course, Shov bought an unwelcomed guest with him. She was acting suspicious ever since the Emperor died and he figured that he needed to keep her close. "Sicarius!" Shov shouted. "Do not dawdle! We have to get to Deiter so we can secure the siege weapons can set up!"

None of what Lissa did was a surprise to Iellax. The immediate acceptance of the order to take the lead position on their advance. The smile that Iellax' flirtation brought. The eagerness the Lissa took to the forward position of their bike. Not surprising in the least. But it still gave Iellax a huge sense of excitement. The second part of the clone's statement to remain disciplined gave Iellax more reason to smile as she l. There was no doubt that Lissa would remain disciplined that was how they trained. Iellax honestly hoped that she would break Lissa of that trait sooner or later. The fact that the dark skinned woman was so eager to please was a good sign.

Iellax then straddled the rear position of the speeder. Though it was completely unnecessary, the Nagai assassin put hands on Lissa's hips and instantly found herself wishing the armor that kept them safe didn't need to be worn at this moment. But Iellax would not allow herself to be distracted by the temptation piloting the bike or her moments of glee. The mission was important. They would need to succeed to get more, and to prove Iellax correct in choosing Lissa despite others' concerns. "I know you will do what needs to be done."

The distraction of the main force, the design of their vehicle and Lissa's driving talents meant that the ride through the valley to the facility was entirely uneventful. Upon their arrival, Iellax also took the measures to make sure she was all but invisible. When they came upon a security team that they would not be able to merely walk around the muscles in Iellax' hands tensed with anxious energy. She wanted to lash out and strike them both down in an instant. But despite her own desires she knew this was a chance to test Lissa in the field. She had been fantastic in a training setting, but Iellax had seen people fall apart when it was for real.

Iellax barely contained a mirthful giggle when Lissa acted so aggressively and efficiently. It was just as Iellax had trained, and so by instinct Iellax was easily prepared to aid with catching and disposing of the second body.

"That was absolutely beautiful my dear," Iellax purred her praise of her favorite subordinate. "I think you will be getting a reward when we get home…The engineer's office is this way. Let's see if we can't beat Ideon and Nyree. I love having bragging rights."

Sicarius sighed theatrically.

"You know when the mad Emperor finally kicked it. I had thought that I was done with these little dates of ours. Honestly Shov your somewhat of a poor escort. You never bring me any flowers or chocolates, hardly ever open the door for me, and somehow I'm the one whose still paying for it."

Sicarius sauntered slowly as Shov urged her to hurry up. She enjoyed teasing the stalwart soldier far too much to not take advantage of being obstreperous. Besides it was fun.

"Remind me again what we're or more importantly I'm doing here?" Sicarius asked board, glancing around at there current position. Still Shov seemed urged to catch up to his other army buddies and play soldier. Sicarius was feeling an benevolent mood, so decided to assuage him.

"Fine I suppose I'll come along so long as I get to kill something." Sicarius said with a sigh.

Before launching into a dead run enhanced by the force so that the soldiers could barely keep up. If she wanted to she could put on force speed and leave them behind entirely, but then who would she have to break in on the next little outing when she had done so much work with Shov already.

Objective 3: Technological Marvels; The Distraction II (Preliminary Bombardment)

"Commander Zealot to Dewbacks, begin saturation strikes upon the mountain Complex, fire until your Demolishers run dry! But do not strike the facility or I will shoot you myself!" Zealot would order to the Preybird-strikes through his commlink just as the shots from the Bounty Hunter's various Blaster and Slug-Based Long rifles had begun to come in. With the Imperial Army and Stormtroopers taking cover behind and under the marching Spider and Storm Class walkers, it would be him and his paragons that took most of the long range fire, most of which pinged off harmlessly off of their thick armor plating.

Soon Enough Dewback Leader would answer, sounds of the Starfighter's engine can be heard through the comm "Copy Commander, wouldn't want that...Dewback is incoming...Firing!" Streaking across the sky would be hundreds of relatively small but speedy rockets, primarily loaded with High explosive filler, the munitions would strike all across the mountain. Almost immediately ending the aforementioned sniper fire would cease as the mountain itself seemed to come apart. The 6 Preybirds would then soar past the formation break off and veered to the right, to reassume their previous holding pattern

"They have been cracked under blessed rocket fire!! Assume quick march formation! We shall shatter them under our heel!" Zealot ordered as he stowed his Heavy Blaster Rifle and drew his Vibrosword and pistol, before charging towards the mountain. His power armor propelling him to far greater speeds than if he was unarmored

Direct Engagement: Iellax Pellis Iellax Pellis

Lissa’s icey blue eyes lit up with sanguine delight as she felt the light that had been the lives of the two mercenaries slip and fade into the Nether. Her euphoria was only intensified at Iellax’s praise, drawing an adoring gasp from the young clone’s lips as she briefly turned to regard her handler with a wide-eyed gaze.

Nevertheless, for all of the pleasure that Lissa wanted to express at receiving such elating praise, the mission remained paramount.

Resetting her focus with a sharp intake of air, Lissa turned around and pressed on into the facility. By this point, the two women had passed the positions of the Paragon-led assault force and were now fully immersed within enemy lines. All the while, Lissa was compelled to stop and slide into corners on more than one occasion as mercenaries rotating from one position to another or carrying heavy weaponry moved past. The assassin bit down on her lip at the sanguine desire to cut them down, but knowing that she could not afford to get drawn into a fight, allowed them to pass unmolested.

Before long, Lissa came up to the entrance of the facility’s primary security center—the squad's designated rendezvous point. With rain starting to come down faster, the chance to get indoors came at an opportune moment, as the water drops made it more exhausting to maintain her invisibility. Thus, the clone pulled her multi-slice tool out from its place on her belt and inserted it into the lock terminal. In the seconds that followed, the terminal clicked and chirped a few times before flashing a green light, at which point doors slid open to allow the two assassins passage inside.

Retrieving her multi-slice tool, Lissa led the way through. A gauntlet lightsaber sprang to life from her left arm as she intercepted a surprised guard, delivering a quick thrust through his neck that silenced the man before he could manage even a gasp. Her lightsaber was deactivated in the same moment, leaving in its wake a gaping, blackened hole through his throat and spine before the body dropped wordlessly to the ground.

“This is the rendezvous.” Lissa said as she casted her gaze around the hallway, scanning for cameras and sensors. Finding one, the assassin raised an arm and crushed it to scrap with an exertion of telekinetic force, before taking a deep breath. “I’m going to the tracking and camera room to find our target.” From the mission briefing, the clone knew that all of the facility’s employees wore badges with electronic tags, allowing their movements to be tracked from the security center so as to prevent malfeasance and theft.

Lissa hoped to exploit the system so as to achieve the exact opposite of its intent.

Lissa's first real infiltration went just as well as all the practice runs and training. It might have gone even better. The only thing that seemed to interrupt the extreme focus of Iellax and Lissa alike was the closeness they worked in coupled with the bond that Iellax had all but forced into existence between them. Luckily it seemed both were able to make the mission the first priority.

The duo easily moved through shadows with almost no obstruction. Though no one else would ever know, Iellax did feel the struggle in Lissa to avoid the thirst of violence. Iellax knew the pull of bloodlust. It was not an active distraction any longer, but the Nagai had also dealt with it. And she likely wasn't completely cured. At the moment Iellax had to monitor Lissa and listen for updates from the others. Iellax would need to remind herself to try to remember how she managed to fight off the urge. Though Lissa was doing well.

Finally they reached their objective. Ahead of Ideon and Nyree. Being their first made Iellax smile, though she had little doubt. Lissa was the top of the Verum clone class. The others were in the middle. And if their was something that Lissa couldn't handle herself, Iellax would have turned that tide in their favor. The Nagai assassin watched Lissa's smooth use of the slicing tool and nodded as the entry to their destination opened. The guard they encountered surprised Iellax as much as they were surprised by the infiltrators. Iellax activated a pale lavender blade from her left hand, even though it was quickly apparent it would not be needed. Iellax used the Force to guide the guard's body gently to the floor as Lissa continued further into the security center.

Lissa announced she would head to the core of the center. Iellax gave a nod of her head and the opened a comm connection to Ideon. "We're at the rendezvous-vous point. How far behind are you?"

"Be there in a minute. Had to avoid a whole squad that was blocking the quickest path. We'll be there and ready for phase two when the engineer is spotted."

Iellax didn't respond, merely disconnected the comm channel. She then followed Lissa into the other room to find their target. Iellax moved very close to Lissa and placed a hand gently on Lissa's shoulder. She used the Force to give Lissa's skin a bit of a tingle to ensure Lissa knew the intimacy intended. "Next mission I promise there will be more blood to shed. You are doing well keeping your cool. A grand reward is in your future. The others are almost here have you managed to track down the target?"
