Calantha
Half a Moon
It’s not something you should know.
Calantha’s heart ached at the sound of this. It wasn’t because Aela sounded upset. She knew there were certain things she wasn’t supposed to be in tune with, she simply couldn’t help it. Calantha wanted to put her hand on the girl’s shoulder as if to tell her that it wasn’t her fault and though she hadn’t seen the end to that battle, she hoped that everything would turn out fine.
If the secret was taboo, Calantha would keep her mouth shut.
Her nails dug into her pale skin.
“I’m sorry.”
She whispered her apology, her eyes shifting around in hopes of the other masters not noticing what had happened. She sighed, as her pale blue eyes rested on Aela’s impossible orange ones. The girl was definitely something special, and Calantha was intrigued by her.
And though she knew she wasn’t allowed to, she wished to know more.
“Would you like to go to the study now? I promise you, it’s private.”
