HISTORICAL INFORMATION

With the resurgence of galactic travel, and wars, the galactic underworld grew enjoyed a renaissance; old locations, and new locations popped up everywhere, many of them generic in being able to finding your typical, mercenary or contractor. Many locations however featured only a specialized market: unfortunately for slicers, these locations were much more fewer.

Enter’s Slicer’s Cove: funded by various sponsors, legitimate and unknown, it’s main purpose was to provide individuals looking for a quite area where businesses would be conducted. Instead, it grew into a large place of its' own, with a huge tech scenery. It eventually became a noted place for slicers to come to compete: where competition came, also sponsors. Among the underworld, and even in more formal businesses environments, it grew in reputation among the Outer Rim as the place where you needed a slicer. Need a smuggler? Go to Tatooine. Need a bounty hunter? Hire a Mandalorian. Need a slicer, go to Slicer's Cove.

With this new reputation also brought in investors that brought their own economy; various companies set up entertainment facilities, shops, etc to facilitate the new growing demand and population. The designers of Slicer's Cove hired mercenary units of various kinds to maintain a sense of security, despite crime relatively being low due to it's nature. Recognizing the possibility of hostile interference, they ordered for installed reactors, hyperdrives, and shields. Among the CIS, they made sure to also cultivate good relations as to make sure there wasn't any trouble.

A bustling place, where all kinds of business take place, it's a popular place in the Outer Rime for slicers to come, and relax, and also to find new credits.
