Sleeping On The Skin Of Nightmares (Elensa Jari)

Approaching Bespin,
Upsilon-class command shuttle.

Caehl Ren stood upon the center of the bridge watching over the Imperial Officers sat before him piloting the Upsilon Shuttle down through the orbit of Bespin, the black visor of his mask cascaded with the light of the looming world and all that it held over his past within the First Order.

To his side, stood [member="Elensa Jari"], his Apprentice and yet so too was she his equal. Time had justified her place by his side, time and her commitment to serving in the defense of the First Order's interests putting her life in front of the fires of war for the sake of those behind their government and beneath the ever watching gaze of Sieger Ren, the Supreme Leader. The pair of them were however at odds with one another, neither one of them having found a way to connect to their peer or relate in any way that solidified their relationship working together; the days leading to this point had not been kind either.

"ETA Two Minutes, My Lord".

Caehl Ren lowered his gaze from the world before them to offer a simple nod to their Co-pilot informing him of their imminent arrival. Their objective and destination on Bespin was a former enclave of the Jedi Order that Veiere Arenais had given him intel over in exchange for the Knight of Ren's knowledge and practices learned in the Dark Side of the Force. His former Master having proved to be a broken relic of the light he once commanded; the notion however that there may be an existing cell of Jedi upon a First Order controlled world could not be tolerated.

Sparing a glance over his shoulder, Caehl's eyes took in the form of Alia Fedahkin and her Iron Mantle Squadron. A secondary measure should he and Elensa find themselves overwhelmed, his Apprentice still having much to give to the First Order should she continue to believe in their cause; time however was not in favor of Caehl himself for it had been two days of the fourteen that [member="Samka Derith"] had informed him would be his demise should he not report to her for review. Death, Caehl supposed, was inevitable. His Apprentice however still had much to give and much to be recognized for. Her time within the Order of Ren was truly only just beginning.

As their shuttle descended upon the decommissioned landing bay floor, the hydraulics giving a loud hiss as air escaped the crafts venting and the engines whined down in their deactivation, the landing ramp lowered and he alongside his Apprentice would be the first to bare witness to an already beaten down facility looking very much the victim of the past wars Caehl Ren himself had been a part of.

The Force around them lingered in its presence, whispering distant warnings though it would be uncertain whether the atmosphere had been stained by the deaths of practitioners that once called this facility home and had since passed; perhaps there remained some who had survived and had sensed their coming, laying in wait for want of an ambush. Whatever the result, Caehl Ren's right hand clutched the hilt of his Lightsaber leading them both towards the entrance of the Enclave of their enemy.
