Slaves Aven-ged (Rana)

Aven Blanc

I'm not Jon Snow... I know stuff.
Tatto-wine, or Tootie-ween, or whatever this planet was called was not a planet that Aven liked very much. It was hot. Besides having to exchange his usual black clothing for white, he also had to constantly harden his Force aura to keep cool and frozen. But there was something pricking at his mind, the same way he'd felt when he'd met that tiny green woman on Danto-ine, or whatever that place was called.

He looked up from his vantage point under a broken speeder, and watched as the slave auctions began. A Hutt, a couple of Humans, and a thing he couldn't recognize were staring greedily at the young men and women on the stand, totally ignoring the small person with his hood pulled up to hide his icy face.

Rana stood there as one of two prizes, her head lowered as people shouted at her and whistled. It was all tuned out though too her, she was but an object to people and it had been a long time since someone had even thought of treating her like a real person. Even now she was touched by the hutt, presented and then led with leash and shock collar around her neck to a cage. She would be kept there while the Auction began, so that no one could damage the prize or try and rob her from the hutt. She in the mean time remained alone in the back of the area, trapped in the cage and waiting till she was sold once more.

Under the speeder, Aven watched as two slaves were picked out from the rest, and put into cages somewhere out of sight. He crawled out, with the cowled robe swishing around him. With a sigh, the short ice-man realized that he probably looked like an oversized Jawa. But that didn't matter right now. He was glad for the robe that covered his too-formal white clothes, and his long, slightly curved, sword.

He walked up to a Gammorean guard in the back of the auction area, and pulled on its shirt. It chortled with a sound that resembled a short squeal, walking up to the little brown-robed man. He muttered something in Basic about cute little Jawas, and reached out to pat Aven's head. A mistake. Aven only had to grab the guard's hand, and he froze completely without a squeal. Pulling down his hood to reveal his frost-covered face, he walked into the back to find the slaves he'd just seen entering the cages.

"Hello?"

Rana looked up from where she sat in the cage, eyes shaking as she backed away from him for a moment, hearing the words though made her curious as she looked at the speaker who seemed rather short. "Hello... did you buy me..." She asked still siting in the far corner of the cage now as she looked into the face of the one she was meeting.

Aven looked around to find the person who was talking to him. He saw her in the cage, staring at him. His smirk became more pronounced as he raised his frozen eyebrow.

"Do I look like a slaver to you? There's one frozen out that door."

She blinked, trying to understand him at first before she realized he meant what he said and wasn't a slaver. With that she looked more confused then ever as she crawled a bit closer to him, knowing moving to fast meant the collar would shock her. "W-why are you here?" She waited for an answer as she sat ni that cage.

Aven's smirk became even more pronounced as he sarcastically glanced at the empty cages around the room. He found it funny that the girl was more surprised by his presence than his appearance. An icy breeze came in through the door, making crackling noises as it went through his frozen hair.

"Oh, I'm just here to sightsee. You never know what you'll find in a Hutt slave market."

She looked around with him and sat still as she continued to speak now. "N-not much of a sight.." She seemed to be almost whispering, another thing she had to think of in order to not get shocked by the collar. She hated the stupid thing but she knew better than to try and fight it. With that she focused in on this person, curious.

Aven looked around suddenly... He didn't see anybody. So, why was the girl in the cage being so quiet? He kept looking around, before blinking at the back of the girl's neck. What the hell was that machine stuck to her? Was it attached to her brain? Shrugging, he pointed a finger and a bolt of ice shattered it to bits.

"Can you talk normal, now?"

"You broke it, hes going to be mad... quick leave..." She was trying to piece the collar back together, thinking she could get it back together vainly. She looekd absolutely terrified now, worried that she was going to be punished heavily for the shock collar being destroyed. She had no idea what kind of pain would come this time, and she didn't want to find out as her whole body shook trying to fix the shattered thing.

Aven just smirked, looking around the room. Nobody was attacking. Nobody was doing anything. There was just the boyish-looking frost man and the scared slave girl in her cage. Before she could say anything else, ice engulfed the locking mechanism of the cage and it exploded to little metallic shards.

"Hmph. You're coming with me. Unless you'd rather stay back here."

"What are you doing, you are going to get me..." She was cut off as the hutt and its guards came into the area now, at this point finally hearing them. The guards would aim at Aven while the hutt spoke basic. "Oh, it looks like the mercendise is running, im going to have to teach it a lesson after i kill this short stain. Kill him men." With that the guards moved forward that were holding forcepikes of vibroblades, the ones with blasters holding back.

"Oh, I'm a stain now? You might regret that."

Aven calmly glanced around at the guards that were now attacking him. Then his mouth twitched up into an evil-looking smirk. The air suddenly felt solid, as the short ice-shaper began reaching out through the Force to freeze the water in the ill-fated guards' bodies. The first man suddenly stopped and began twitching as if he was having a seizure, and then he fell silent and still. Aven looked at the Hutt, now, and pointed a frost-covered finger at the gigantic slug.

"Now, tell me, do you remember how much of a Hutt is composed of water? I'm excited to find out."

The guards looked at the other one, then looked around to themselves before starting to leave now out of fear that Aven had done that without even lifting a finger. One even called him a devil as they started running now and left the hutt alone with Aven. Rana meanwhile looked to be absolutely terrified as her eyes were glued to the now dead man, unable to move or breath at the moment as she then looked at Aven, inching into the far corner of her cell to get away from him.

Aven tilted his head sideways, which might have looked cute on somebody as small as him, if he hadn't just frozen a man from the inside out. The Hutt was alone now. Killing him would be a matter of snapping his fingers and watching the slimeball turn into a corpse. But out of the corner of his eye, he saw the girl in the cage cower away from him. It made him a bit sad, but he still wanted to punish the gangster.

The short frost-shaper finally made up his mind. He reached up to his back to draw his sword, and frost coalesced around it. With a burst of speed, he plunged it into the Hutt's massive gut, drawing it diagonally across for about a foot before pulling it out. The wound froze over instantly, and the slug's eyes turned wide as he backed out of the room.

"Remember that, you slug... Never annoy me again."

Aven turned to look at the girl in the cage, and held up a hand to give her a thumbs up before realizing that the ice was cracking off his skin. His voice was shaky, and he felt himself collapse before his eyes closed.

"Too... hot..."

She blinked at the words, staring as he chased off the guards and the hutt, fear still in her eyes but now she wondered if he was hurt. She hadn't seen someone touch him or even get close and as he fell she watched him fall and slowly crawled out to him. Her body froze as she watched the ice on him break and she blinked a bit more before going over to him on her hands and knees and shaking him slightly. She was trying to wake him up simply because he hadn't hurt her and chased off the slavers, she didn't want him to just lay there for them to return.

Aven's eyes snapped open, and he coughed sand out. With a muffled groan, he looked around the room. Finally, he yelped as he noticed who had been shaking him. Unable to actually move his arms or legs, he raised an eyebrow and smirked at the green-skinned girl kneeling next to him.

"Hey, Miss Polka Dots… I know I'm amazing, but it'd be more help if you poured water on me instead of gaping. I need to refreeze so we can get out of here."

"P-pour water?" She blinked, confused and sighing as she looked around and saw one of the dishes she had been fed with. Grabbing it as she moved away she came back over and poured the water right onto his face. "Like that?"

Aven Blanc

I'm not Jon Snow... I know stuff.
"Yes, exactly like that."

Aven visibly relaxed as ice began to form over his head and hair again, grinning as the water spread down his arms and legs and formed a flexible sheathe of ice around him. Letting out a contented sigh, he pushed himself up from the ground and picked his sword up. With his free hand, he reached out to help the green-skinned girl up.

"Well, come on. Or were you gonna stay here?"

She nodded and followed him as she looked at the frozen men and sighed before looking at the side again. "Uh... where are we going... are you my new master or..." She didn't know what was going on so instead she rubbed her neck where the collar used to be, smiling that it was finally gone but not sure what this short person would do. "And why are you so short."
