Slavage of Distruction [PM to Join]

J5kmevb.jpg
Location: Remnants of Jedha, High Orbit
Objective: Transport "Friend" to Known Crystal Locations
Equipment: Mandalorian Pilot Armor, Light Shield, Beta Blaster

The blue clouded waves of a Hyperspace window appeared above the moon of Jedha. The distorted image of a ship fazed into reality as the Excalibur-Class Corvette appeared. This was not Jake's first time on this planet, the Val'hala Mutural Mining Platform was one of the Unknown Regions major exports for crystals of all types. At this station, salvages and contract miners would be given payment for any crystals they found. When Jake heard about a man looking to find a relatively under the table place to find Force Crystals, he knew this would be a good place to start.

Walking from the pilots seat of the Corvette turn and meet eyes with [member="Neivon"], his current employer. This was a little side gig from his normal work as a transport pilot for his brother and a fighter pilot for the Mandalorian Empire. Man had to pay for all that booze he drank and even more to pay back those request of the women's brothers he owed.

"Welcome to Jedha, moon of the Crystalized planet of Nar'Jedha, please keep all hand and feet in the starship until the light above your seat turns off." The helmet hid his glowing smile as he enjoyed saying that, like all the time. Literally the bridge of the corvette groaned at his attempt to make a joke.

One of the Operators in Mandalorian Armor of Red and Black Clan Awaud Armor turned to Jake, "Areas clear and the Mining Base has not noticed our presence, we are good to go."

"Okay boss man, we just need to be careful of raiders and Graug pirates, otherwise tell us where to go." Jake turned in his seat to place his hands back on the helm to take control of the ship. They were ready to navigate these difficult lanes that were filled with mountain sized asteroids.

"Doesn't matter to me. I'm in a bit of the mood for something rough," Neivon was sick and tired of constantly listening to the Dogmas of old men and the demands of a particular Nautalan. He knew he had to be careful as it would be better in the long run, but he couldn't just stop fantasizing of the what ifs. He yearned to use his techniques that he honed. Practices he knew were now far better than the time he had a run with the law. He luckily came out largely unscathed. He couldn't say the same about his little sith compadre at the time. Hopefully they didn't have anything against him. Hopefully.

"Of course, I guess we got to make sure anyone 'patrolling' to say around the area ain't tryin' to make a buck on us," Neivon chuckled. "Then again, we'll just have to shoot them in the face, eh?"

Chekita had not really hang out with her family that much, less so when the FWC fell apart, but once a merc always a merc... to some extent, and when [member="Jake Awaud"] posed some job leading to the outerim it was hard to say no. "Eh you like it rough mister [member="Neivon"], be careful you may get what you wished for and more if your not careful", her words coming through the muffled sound of her black and white painted armor, her typical skull emblem across the T visor. Yes it as not the Clan Colours, but it was kind of her calling card, every helmet she owned, balaclava, everything had a skull on the from of it, one bearing rather sharp teeth all things considered.

"Sooo, anyways, besides killing people you want us to kill and all the usual stuff why are we here again"? She assumed it was to do with the mines on the floating rock, but she kind of forgot what made them so special. After all she was better and making sure her employer stayed alive, not really what they where up to, most of which was often illegal... not that she cared.

Neivon

Although none of the crew could see as his smile faded, but the weight from his shoulders gave way to his sudden lost of energy.

"God damn crystals," Neivon bitterly said. He already had his stupid lightsaber pike. Yet the damn Nautolan, Six-Eyes, keeps making him search all over the place for 'the perfect crystal' and what other ramblings he says. Neivon didn't need a perfect crystal, what he needed was the stupid voice in his head somewhere else. But apparently his priorities had to be 'left for later'. Neivon was told to come to this planet by the Nautolan, but there was no way in hell that he was going to be in one place again for months on end. Practically on impulse, Neivon setup a little contract with all the money he had been building up since his attack on the Gjallarhorn from these odds jobs here and there. He was gonna blow it on something to help with his stress, but this seemed practically the same thing. "We're just gonna be swift about this, get in and out. Blow whoever's face comes up. Speed is the priority," Faster meant the better he is out of another situation. And hopefully not into another one.

Jake curved the corvette at half sub-light speed to prevent its destruction at the hands of the asteroid that use to be part of the planet. Damn ancient empire and their super weapons really liked to blow things us.

He talked over his shoulder to his cousin, [member="Chekīta Awaud"] "To be honest the UTC enjoy a large amount of special crystals and stockpile them for some reason," It was true, his brothers company mined several types of crystals and many were force imbued. Some like the Ghostfire Crystal, natural occurring White and Red Lightsaber crystals, and some Commandos did kill a smuggler trying to take a Dark Crystal from the planet. Jake did not know why his brother was hiding all these crystals, only that he did kill to keep them locked away. However, the destruction of the planet made monopolizing the planets crystals nearly impossible.

He looked to his employer, [member="Neivon"], "I would not worry about meeting Conglomerate Reps, we are in their none patrolled sector, but that means we may see a Gratos Raiding Party," The Gratos were not a friendly bunch and meeting them out here were not something he was interested in. "We just need to keep our eyes out is all, I payed off a Mining Officer for an untapped crystal vain, whatever one takes your fancy sir you can keep, should we survive."

As he said that, the ray shield of the ship buzzed as the ship tapped a near by asteroid. Good thing is was one of the Hill sized one though.

"I agree, Get in Get out " Tristan The purple amour clan mandalorian sat inside the cockpit with the others. His arm crossed leaning against the wall looking out into the blackness of space."if we're lucky they'll see we're Mandalorian and run away after all the Empire as made a name for itself...But that's a long shot " He tightened his grip around his Vornskr Mark 8 Scattergun as he went into his next sentence "But then again we can go the fun route"

"For some reason, ah what do I care, they have stuff [member="Neivon"] want, he has hired us, best do that job and nothing more, any extra altercation cut into paychecks and may lead to more people dying then we need". She was not sure Jaster would be happy if such an operation resulted in a couple of clan member deaths. "Though if we do get into a fight, though I will admit blowing peoples face off is fun it may not be the best idea to be lobbing explosives around an all, that can cause problems for the crystals we are trying to get".

"Though guess all we can do is just wait and see how the river flows, ya never know what's going to happen out here". After all her last raid or mission to a mining facility ended much different to what she had planed, and that was with a crack sneaking silent squad. Trigger happy Mandalorians on the other hand, well more things to go wrong there, but also much more exciting.

"Well why didn't you say so? If you already found a crystal vein, best to get to it," Neivon inspected one of us unloaded mini rockets. Not much for him to do in terms of "looking out". It was ridiculous for the Jake fellow to suggest they all watched out for raiders. Not like they all had scanners the size of a holocom. Maybe someone did, he didn't know.

Neivon put the rocket away, having finished inspecting his equipment. It was all in good shape. Now there was not much for him to do besides waiting. "Anyone up for a game of sabacc?"

The corvette drifted through space as he pushed and pulled on the throttle, twisting the helm to curve the ship though its narrow corridors. Pass two vert large boulders that were floating in space caught in the gravity well of the planet, there sat the abandoned mining station.

"Welcome to station Crystillious, you to be a Illegal Mining station used by the black tie syndicate," He turned to the group from his seat and allowed another warrior to take the helm, "They were run out by One Sith Remnant Forces and then the Conglomerate moved in, nearly untouched crystal vain down there, now this mission is to get after a rare supply of Agrocite, my contact said it should be in the supply room before the Sith ran off the syndicate." Agrocite was his main goal, with that he and his crew could be set for some time and allow him to get better gear and possibly a better ship, "The base also has already processed crates of Nova and Prismatic Crystals that we should also grab," In truth there was a wide variety of crystals in this facility and there could be some easy pick up supplies they could sell on the black market.

He looked over to [member="Neivon"], "You may want to enter the center facility where the actual mine is, you can head over there when we land or help us scavange what we can and we all go together, you just paid us to get you here and get you back to Empress Teta, either way the contact said a lot of different force crystals were located there that they could not mine."

He then looked to [member="Chekīta Awaud"] and [member="[/FONT][FONT=georgia]Tristan Vizsla"] "Cuz, Wren, your with me, we get the supplies and secure the cargo, we then make sure our paychecks does not get lost."

The Ship pulled up closer to the base and docked on its side exterior dock, "Lets move ladies."

"Or, I can have these little guys take care of the scouting in my stead," The hover cams would cover any sightings he may find up ahead. Neivon took out a tablet which showed 6 black screens categorizing each number for the hovercams. "I'll see what parts of these mine's here are fruitful in ore before we head on," Neivon stepped out of the ship, using the small controller pad, he flicked a switch that said "auto-pilot". The droids in his pack turned on in response, lights flickering before they began to make their way out of the bag, creating a low buzz as they maneuvered into the mine's expanse. "Make sure to take care of whatever, I'll be busy looking through the camfeeds for a while," Neivon shouted over.

Despite Neivon's statements of restless enthusiasm, he's been in too many inscursions to go on in recklessly; he was still going to shoot who'd ever he'd encounter considering the threat of pirates and their constant cunning behavior. But his own experiences on the Demon Moon honed his hesitancy against whatever threats he might face. And more regretably his treasure hunt on Dantooine. But he didn't really wanted to think about Six Eye's damn antics.

steeping out behind Neivon he spoke " I suggest we do one last Basic equipment check, Before we are knee deep in chit "
raising his wrist he hit a button causing his Z-6 jetpack to ignite a small amount of fuel sending him up a few inches he waited a few seconds before hitting the button again cutting off the fuel to the jetpack dropping Tristan back to his feet. He grasped his hand around his CZ Wrist-Mounted Flame Projector sending out a small controlled burst of fire holding it in place towards the ground. He then moved to his main weapons. Tristan always considered himself a close to mid range specialist so naturally he ran a Vornskr Mark 8 Scattergun and the Weststar-35 on back up. He acourse had the other basics a Mandalorian never leaves home without Grappling Hook Launchers, High Tension Wire, Concealed blade,Knee dart and wrist blaster.

"An illegal mining syndicate, you know what I love don'tcha, been spying on me or something" Chekita cooed, "but seems easy enough, snatch the crates be back on the ship, then we can have the Sabac game, you know after the pay check and all". Felt better to take someones paycheck after a long days work, also meant you had money to spend, nothing like wining a game and the person not actually having enough money to cover there loss, and Chekita was not one for IOU's. "Right behind ya cuz, just make sure you don't leave me behind", after all she was 31 now, not as young as she was a few years ago.

"Alright [member="Neivon"], let us knoww if anything blows up down there", Chekita replied back to [member="Neivon"] though her headset as the group started to make their way towards the mine shaft, weapon at the ready just in case something attacks. "Yer not everyone has jet packs @Tristan Vizsla, and beesides in this mining area may not be the wisest thing to go, but you are right, rifle check, grappling hook, check, hand canon, check and radio check, guess were all good to do now".

"Haha, real funny," Neivon forced a chuckle at [member="Chekīta Awaud"]'s remarks. The hovercams could cover meters of distance, but their tracking signal would only be able to go as far. Neivon paced in small circles as to keep his blood flowing as he looked throughout the cameras. "Coast seems clear thus far, I'll heading be down to the facility immediately. You guys can take whatever ya want I guess." Neivon began picking up at his own pace ahead from the rest of the group as he made his way down to the main facility. Sending a return signal through his tablet before putting it away, not noticing as one of the camera feeds stopped working. "If I need assistance, I'll send ya guys my coordinates,"

Neivon pushed a button on his helmet, activating his light as a precaution. He didn't know how well developed the mines truly were. If one of his contracts managed to buy assess to this place. If they truly wanted profit, looking in comparison of his own offer he may be heading out into some real unknown Bantha dung. The Bounty Hunter pulled out his lightsaber pike, un-ignited, having at the ready as the shafts around him became darker.

Location: Abandoned Black Tie Syndicate Mining Facility, Jedha
Objective: Secure Supplies and Don't Let Neivon Die
Equipment: Armor, Two Blaster Pistols, Laser Communication Droid, and Phrik Vibroblade

As his cousin, [member="Chekīta Awaud"] made her comment, Jake could not hold back his jokes. "Knowing you, all you think about is Booze, fighting, and tough men, in that order of course."

"Now, it looks like we are good," Jake tapped on his light shield wrist projectors and then turned them off, "If that's everyone lets get this chit done."

He stepped off the airlock into the frigid cold interior of the facility. It would seem that the previous people turned off the life support and cut off all the power. There were no light on, though Jake's head light did bounce off the wall well enough to light up the hallway. With his cousin covering his back he holstered one of his blasters and reached into one of his side pouches. pulling out three spherical objects and throwing them in the air above them they turned on and started to float. "These little guys will make sure our communications stay up even if the enemy uses jamming, keep eyes open and lets get the supplies."

[member="Neivon"] and @Tristan Vizsla where covering the other side of the hall way and they were covering the hallway as two other red and black armored mandalorian came out of the air lock to follow. These were other Awaud Clansmen who would hold the door when the time came. "So, anyone got an idea where criminals would keep their ill gotten gain?"
