Skype Conduct

Couple points I wanted to address.

  • I'm still super pleased at how much spontaneous fun we have, and how much we get done, without a faction chat. I still firmly believe that faction chats are usually bad.
  • That said, most of us are on Skype regardless, and we all know it's easier to get caught up in the moment on Skype.
  • We've got a great standard of behavior on the board as a faction -- no dickery or ragefests whatsoever -- but there've been a couple of hiccups on Skype in the last few days over matters unrelated to TKO. I don't mind telling you that I was involved in one of them -- I got bent out of shape over something dumb and said a couple things I regret, as I do every few months. Don't be me, lol.
  • Let's step up our game, hold ourselves to a higher standard of behavior, and cultivate a reputation of being easy to work with on an OOC level. This is especially important considering how many of our members are very new to the faction, the board, and possibly the internet.
  • I feel pretty comfortable in saying that TKO's faction staff -- me, [member="Lok Munin"], [member="Ria Misrani"], and [member="Bryce Bantam"] -- stand united on this. Whenever possible, let's be patient, be forgiving, and be chill.
